you officers kicked me out in the rain because i have tourette sydrome here some education and 1 star Tourette Syndrome is one type of Tic Disorder. Tics are involuntary, repetitive movements and vocalizations. They are the defining feature of a group of childhood-onset, neurodevelopmental conditions known collectively as Tic Disorders and individually as Tourette Syndrome, Chronic Tic Disorder (Motor or Vocal Type), and Provisional Tic Disorder. The three Tic Disorders are distinguished by the types of tics present (motor, vocal/ phonic, or both) and by the length of time that the tics have been present.

Individuals with Tourette Syndrome (TS) have had at least two motor tics and at least one vocal/ phonic tic in some combination over the course of more than a year. By contrast, individuals with Chronic Tic Disorder have either motor tics or vocal tics that have been present for more than a year, and individuals with Provisional Tic Disorder have tics that have been present for less than a year.

Motor Tics
Motor tics are movements. Simple motor tics include but are not limited to: eye blinking, facial grimacing, jaw movements, head bobbing/jerking, shoulder shrugging, neck stretching, and arm jerking. Complex motor tics involve multiple muscle groups or combinations of movements and tend to be slower and more purposeful in appearance,(e.g., hopping, twirling, jumping).

Vocal/Phonic Tics
Vocal (phonic) tics produce a sound. Simple vocal tics include but are not limited to sniffing, throat clearing, grunting, hooting, and shouting. Complex vocal tics are words or phrases that may or may not be recognizable but that consistently occur out of context. In 10-15% of cases, the words may be inappropriate (i.e., swear words, ethnic slurs, or other socially unacceptable words or phrases). This type of vocal tic, called coprolalia, is often portrayed or mocked in the media as a common symptom of TS. you boys and blue make me sick your untrustworthy and no sympathy i dont feel safe or protected

This morning Officers came to my home for a welfare check due to a hang up call. After questioning my children I learned my oldest accidently swiped the emergency call while attempting to snooze his work alarm.
This Thank You goes out to those kind men in uniform!

Unprofessionalism and criminaltiy run rampant in the Port Saint Lucie Police Department. Officers regularly disregard the law and use mob tactics in order to intimdate and control the city. Most of the officers on this force are engaged in drug use, criminal activity, anabolic steroid use (looking at you SWAT team members), and just outright hostility towards the citizens of the city.

I want to thank Mr. Hall for his service helping me with a problem. It's nice to see the young police officers talking to me like my own brother's, it's a blessing to see this turn around from the Clent Eastwood day's. I pray for Mr. Hall and the rest of the department to keep moving forward to trusting each other one on one with the public. I can say Mr. Hall will do very well doing his job and pray for years to come.
God bless to each of you. And thank you

I've been in and out of the court systems since I received my license fourteen years ago. I just had one of the most positive experiences with the gentleman and lady at the front desk. The rest of the world would do well to model thier personnel and public relations department after the psl police department

I love the PSL Police Department. They helped me when my jeep broke down and started to smoke realy bad so i called 911. The police showed up so quickly. Luckily it was the wire harness so they calmed me down and pushed my jeep to the side of the road so I could safely get it towed. Thank you so much you guys rock !

Officers are rude and do not take complaints seriously. Very lazy and do not listen to what you have to say. I was speaking and one officer walked away from me in the middle of what I was saying. I constantly see 3-4 police cars in areas where nothing is going on. They clearly do not have a real job to do. Can t perform when given a simple task of helping people. Majority of the officers do not deserve respect and just expect it for no reason.

Unnecessarily nasty. Tried to report threats of vandalism and spoke to an operator at the non emergency number. She didn t take me seriously and interrupted me every time I spoke. It s no wonder this police department has been noted for corruption and disorganization.

Last trip to the Police station you go there and its like no one once to help you they just want to give you the answer that you don't want to hear and make you leave, but if you get little loud with them another ways do your job they get rude, and telling you if you don't guit down I'll be in trouble really really ,this the 2nd time my daughter had a complaint about being followed and harassed even at her house and nothing can be done until something happens, cant wait for that ,some guy behind a window telling me to quit down not even having a uniform on, got rude with my daughter and then with me 20 minutes later got rude with me he told me to quit down he told me Im a Officer ,he left with a attitude to get the Officer,so I waited I guess he was upset and took his time ,so I left because they were to busy to help ,because I ask for a hire up Officer. Its sad that something has to happen to you before you have rights! We are not the criminals, we are there for help .Plus don't move your hands around like a Italian when you talk because they feel treaton like you are going to do something, never in my life I felt this that your at a Police station and you can't get help so why even be there with your doors open and no help Waste of time and tax payers money .

I called on a welfare check for my elderly mother who was 89 years of age. They sent out two officers to check on her. I gave them authority to enter her home to check on her, They stayed with her until other family members arrived. They took control of the situation and worked with us to ensure all was well. As for as our family is concerned, we have nothing but high praise for the Port St Lucie Police Dept.

I ve never had to call the police department but I did what I thought was the right thing to report lost property. Officer Ludemere was one of the worse officers I ve ever encountered. He didn t even ask what was inside the property. He wasn t worried about anything but how I could not that responsible. Well I m a single mom of two with no help and work a full time job. I m sorry I m not perfect. Instead of helping me he made me feel as if I was the worse person. Nothing was done as I just wanted him to leave. I will not be using psl for their services as I do not trust them anymore. I will call for a deputy from this point on and anyone can request a deputy for services instead of psl.

Often times it's easy to criticize police, but I feel safe knowing that the PSL police department is one of the best in the state. They've had leadership issues, but that hasn't affected the staff & their duties.
