Quite a nice facility. During the public tours, best not to ask questions regarding the I5 bridge replacement schedule (with regards to a 3rd bridge etc). Comments were made about the port being an economic powerhouse, yet they collect nearly as much in taxes as the city itself. Burdening the taxpayer isn't a powerhouse.
A great port, in a great City hopefully they respect the environment! Vancouver residents don't want oil trains? liquid petroleum processing sites or any other businesses that will mess up our beautiful environment and river system! Let's keep Vancouver strong with local business that is good for the environment! Stand Together for your kids environment.
You wait an hour watching forklifts just sitting around and then they go to lunch. This happens almost every time. Not recommended. Do your homework and stay away from Port Of Vancouver.
