Felt the presence of the holy spirit through praise and worship here. The music alone almost brought me to tears. Jesus is with this place of worship, Amen.

We watched this church be built from across the street. And have been members there ever since. God's love brings conviction of course but never condemnation. Find a way to get involved here. Our community benefits so much from this church group of people.

Overall, a great experience. Friendly and welcoming people. Powerful worship and solid, Biblical teaching with practical life applications.

Such a welcoming atmosphere, well run, and great preaching. Proud to call it my church home.

One person greeted us going in. Had to reach to a man for a handshake.
Sermon was a discussion about a headlight with little reference to the Word until the last 4 minutes or so.
Teen age boys in front of us were into their own discussion.
Lights were too dim for one to read the Bible- preacher should have passed out headlights - that would have helped.
Leaving the church - slowly - we saw no one with information about groups or Bible studies.
Got tossed a butane lighter on the way out the door.
We left feeling like strangers which I guess that we are.

Great church. Highly recommend for lifetime Christian's and people who want to begin their walk with god!

This church is great! As a singer, I look forward to starting my day with going into church and singing out loud with the band to contemporary Christian music that's always on K- Love. They rock it out with some really inspiring music every Sunday But, no one rocks anything out more that Pastor Mike!!

He is one of my most favorite pastors of all time. He's very modern, funny and full of positive energy. His stories about being a husband and Dad are often very sweet and moving but most always have a bit of humour in them to make you smile and say...Ive been there too! He really gets to the heart of the message and makes you feel what he is trying to get across to you. He always makes sense at the end even if in the beginning, you don't know where he's headed with his stories and examples. His words are truly inspiring and make you go home for a week and think about the meaning of the message. I always want to come and hear the next thing he's going to say. Church is never boring at Port city with Pastor Mike. The members love his messages so much, they are almost disappointed when it's not him giving the message, I know I always am but.... It is very obvious that he chooses the other speakers very carefully!

One guy was there a few months ago, and I literally believe his day job was stand up comedy. He was great, and his message about missions was even greater! Very moving on many levels. At the end though, the Pastor came out and thanked the speaker, and in my opinion it was just to let us know he wasn't far away. He really cares about the church and everyone who attends, speaks, and preforms. He's truly a modern day man of God speaking from the Bible , inspired by the Holy spirit with a heart for the people bigger than the entire church and congregation. Hes a rare type of awesome.

The really fun thing about this church aside from the obvious is, all of the different small groups. They have a small group for everything and everyone! They also have summer camp for kids that is better than any Christian summer camp except Camp Willow Run in Littleton NC. And it's at least equal to that sort of Christian sleep over camp fun/ experience! My son can NOT wait to go. Space is limited in the camps because they are so great so, you have to move fast on getting your child signed up.

Over all I think Port City community church or PC3 as the members call it, is where you are gonna feel the presence of God and feel the Holy spirit moving in a big ways whenever you are there. There are thousands of members but, most everyone in the thousands is super friendly and caring. Oh bonus...Free cups of coffee to wake you up! With flavors!!! And awesome children's churches and child care rooms to put your child in so that you can really focus on the experience, while gifted youth pastors and helpers teach your child about God in a way that they feel is fun and makes sense to even the smallest member.

If you never at least check this church out, you are missing out BIG time on a great church experience. This is one of my favourites. I give it 10 stars out of 5.

Big ole' church. Not for me, but glad it is serving the community and the masses. Gold bless ya and your large congregation. I will stay across the river at my current spot, but sure was nice to visit

Never thought I'd like a large church but Pastor Mike is the exception

Absolutely wonderful! Attended the 9AM service this morning. We finally found where God wants us to be.

College students mostly attend the night services. I go to early service and it is still crowded. Signed up for Starting Point Class to renew my Faith and to get the truth in what Jesus taught not what religions teach. Caring members and leaders to help you in your journey of Faith. So many classes and camps for kids and volunteering. No pressures, no judgment, just solid based teaching to help you lead a Faith based life. Your sins are already forgiven. Believe and Accept Christ as your personal Savior.
