Port Autonome de Dakar (PAD) Review

At the autonomous port of dakar you can embark for the island of goree, which I recommend for tourists. For this evening in particular, I was at the fishing club restaurant: continental gastronomy. The food is good and the welcome is there.

Ferry ride to house of slaves and back was easy and good. The port was fine as we waited. You can buy some juice and snacks here as well.

I lived here reminds me a lot of memories and c a very pretty place

Terrible place... plus nobody speak English
Very dirty & ugly! Locals try to make money ripping you off. I tried to take pictures to show people how ugly it is, but police officer forced me to delete them. Lazy & careless people around. NObody speaks English ... it's Africa! :(

Clean enough place, located between the railway station and the museum.

Lack of infrastructure for travelers and parking too small. The terminal is very clean and boats are always on time

Boarding to Goree or Ziguinchor so exceptional to the Senegalese.

Located at the intersection of shipping lines connecting Europe to South America, North America to South Africa, the port of Dakar, enjoys an exceptional geographical position. Port of Dakar could be better than what it is now. We can become the 1st West African port provided that we put in the necessary means and men
