This local bar is a real treat. They have a cute outdoor sitting area in the back and the food is sooooo good. I had the 14 hour smoked pulled pork tacos and the fried perogies. Best food I had in a while. The place was pretty busy and I was slightly uncomfortable inside BUT it wasn't bad (I'm just more cautious than most). All in all, I will definitely be going back more often.
Porky's is an absolute gem in Etna. The owners are local and really good people, and they have amazing taste in beer. The food is on the higher end in regards to quality for bar food. The taps are always changing and new exciting seasonal beers abound. There seems to always be a special event going on with beer giveaways and other good times. Make sure to order a giant pretzel to munch on while you drink Etna's best beer.
Porky's bar has its rustic charm (dive), but the beer is cold. I haven't been here in years, due to the very bad parking, but happen to be driving by and noticed a parking space so decided to stop in for a quick beer. It's just a small town local bar but worth a stop if you're in the area.
Normally their food was really good the service is awesome I had gotten a burger and it was not good at all they're priceless priced it at $6 and change but my bill ended up being 12

Tried to call to order burritos which used to be one of the best things they had there with the fish wanted to order 50 of them to go but they told me they no longer handle either the beef or chicken what a shame what a shame o I understand new owners taking over but you still got to stay with some of your longevity foods what a shame shame

New owners have added a wildly diverse selection of drafts, most of which are local or at least regional. Add to that good food and a nice crowd, and every day there is a good time.
It's a pretty chill bar to hangout. Had brunch and it was amazing. I really recommend the breakfast pizza and the mimosas.

Quaint bar with cold beer on tap and excellent bar food. Very friendly staff, who were especially attentive to two first time customers. The extremely large urinal in the men's restroom is a must see. Will go back again and again.
Terrible I heard good things but my experience was bad I stopped in for take out it took 50 minutes for 2 sandwiches that were clearly forgot about because they were thrown together, cold, and missing toppings. I went back the day after with my food I was given an apology, a refund, and a gift card for my troubles so I changed my rating of 1 star to 2 star.

Had a lot of fun! New owner is great. The food is delicious and the drinks are a good price. There is darts and pinball. The bartender was very friendly and efficient. Gives the Pittsburgh dive bar feel but with good quality. Much better than most bars in the area.

1st time there. So might just be because covid. Food was not that good especially for what I thought was a bbq place. Also the bar tender didn't know how to make a mixed drink. The place is dark and bad seating. The roof leaked big time when it was pouring. They had to move the machines. Some nice people sitting near by helped the understaffed worker.
First We ve been here since the new owners-but it most certainly won t be the last!
Several things tonight were over the top amazing. My wife got the wedding soup which was so good I had to order some too. I had the pulled pork tacos which were so so good and my son had todays special, the buffalo chicken mac & cheese, which was also really really good. Ate in the bar, so you ordered from the bartender, she was awesome and the drinks were good too, including the special Porky s Punch.

Good draft list but I can't say I was impressed by the app I ordered. Fried ravioli and marinara... In a prefab cup like the peanut butter at a hotel breakfast. Wasn't expecting gourmet food but come on, man.
Great new ownership and same great food that they've always had. More live bands these days as well, if you're into that, too! And as always, a lengthy, solid tap list.
After being out all day working in the yard - I was hungry and Thirsty . I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Ice Cold bottle of beer and a 20 hour Brisket Sandwich that was one of the best things I have ever eaten. Nothing is worse on a hot day than a bottle of beer that is not ice cold. Porky's bottles are COLD and hit the spot . I might go back again today and do it all over again.

After seeing a lot of people leaving here with food to go I decided to take a chance and see what I was missing.... my girl and I had the brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese!! We had the Mac and cheese on the side instead of on the sandwich and we enjoyed every bite!! Saturdays is Rib day and if the ribs are cooked with the same: marinade, rub, or homemade bbq sauce as the brisket then I know it will be a home run!! Will be calling this weekend!

Fun place to hang out. Diane is an amazing bar tender! Handled the entire place by herself and it was packed. She should probably get a raise.
Draft selection is impressive and the (bar)food is high quality and Inexpensive. Back outside deck is also a plus! Relaxed atmosphere ....just across the river from Lawrenceville..what more can you ask for? Burger was especially impressive ($8) and they also smoke their own meat.

Updated 2020 Even through the tough times right now this still holds true they follow the rules so you should too make sure you try some of the bbq while you grab a nice cold drink and as always, Donnies longies (ask about flavored ones) are the best out of anywhere I've ever had them.. Come on in for great prices great drinks and fire food courtesy of the great staff and owners @ Porkys.
Love this place. The bartenders have been good when we have been there, their menu is great for a bar menu, and they always have things going on the multiple TVs. I'm not a smoker, so I'm not a fan that they allow it inside, and that is the only reason why I gave them 4 and not 5 stars. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in and check it out!
Service was wonderful and location is spacious. Bar is nicely lit with plenty of tvs to watch the game. Electronic jukebox available with a good selection of music.
Just had their food at a local brewery where they had a truck set up. Probably the best pulled pork, brisket, and Mac and cheese I ve ever had in my life. Absolutely top shelf. Very reasonably priced also. Nice work.

I've lived in South Carolina, the home of smokers and pulled pork. Porkys just helped me realize that I never need to go back there again for some top notch food. Amazing eats and great bar selection!
