Tried to purchase dendrimers from Polysciences for my research work at the University of Michigan. After 2 weeks of waiting, we called the office and they said the item was packaged and waiting to ship that day. After not receiving for another week, we called back and heard that the item was still waiting to be shipped. At week 4, in the morning the item was still in the shipping department, and then in the afternoon apparently the company had a power outage that ruined all of their inventory. Something that could have been said 4 weeks earlier. We finally canceled our order and bought from a more responsible company. Be advised of bad business and suspect material quality if purchasing from Polysciences.

UPDATE 7/25/16: After posting my review, the same day I was contacted by a Product Manager at Polysciences who reached out in regards to the mishandling of our order. He genuinely apologized for the error, and adamantly insisted on fixing the situation. He ended up offering us credit for material goods up to the price of the product we had purchased, plus rushed shipping at no cost to us. We ended up taking advantage of this offer and ordered the original product, and we received it within 2 days of shipping, as he assured us it would. We are now conducting our chemistry with this material, and we are optimistic that it will meet our standards. The Manager has been in contact with us every step of the way in fixing this, which we appreciate, and he has also assured us that this error will not happen again.

Therefore, I am changing my rating to a 3 from a 1 given this response from the company. It is unfortunate that we had the first issue but their handling of the matter once we complained was professional and very satisfactory. I can say that I will not be shy to order from Polysciences again.
