We got stuck in Snowmass because of flight delays and had to stay in a hotel for a night. The Pokolodi Lodge was a quaint and relaxing experience. Very toasty rooms. Hot tub. Breakfast. There was even resident golden retriever! They offered a shuttle to the airport which was convenient. Right next to Snowmass mall and rentals and lifts!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The pool is nice- has steps leading in and then goes up to over 6 ft deep. The hot tub is attached to the pool. The jets in the hot tub leave something to be desired, but it is nice and roomy . The rooms have tons of plug-ins for your electronics, a decent sized tv, and a small fridge. The towels are really fluffy and nice and the beds have extremly plush and luxurious pilliows. I will say though, that I had two kiddos with me under the age of five, and the white bedspreads do not set a mom's mind at ease, especially when it comes to them eating snack or dinner without a table. There was a desk in the room, but it was not enough to keep my kiddos situated there. I am sure they destroyed something. Not the hotel's fault though.

The place was amazing! The staff are super friendly and helpful. They covered our every need and more with awesome recommendations, accomodating needs and so forth. The rooms are clean and neat with a cozy fireplace. The Hottub is well kept and clean and the LOCATION is 10 stars out of 5. You could not expect to find a better location staying at snowmass especially at this rate. Definitely looking forward to visiting here again!

One of the cheaper places to stay in Aspen and surrounding area, we paid ~ $ 100 per night in mid-August.

But the hotel (rather motel character) is quite ok. Comfortable beds, good location to both the parking lot, some shops and the Sky Cab as a means of transport in the lower part of the village.

Breakfast is ok for American standards, there is a pool in the evening unfortunately always occupied.

In the evening the whole area smelled of apparently excessive cannabis consumption of other guests.

This is an older hotel but in nice condition with a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Disturbing thing is they have a sign at the pool that reads, will prosecute you if you stay past nine. Don t know if I would like to be a paying customer and be prosecuted for trespassing!

The rooms are wonderfully comfortable. The location is less than a5 minute walk to the bottom of the ski hill and the buses are across the street. The rooms are not quite as quiet as hoped but not outrageous

Pokolodi Lodge staff could not be nicer and very accommodating - They helped us in a very stressful event where the studio apartment that we rented and had been double booked. The lodge is very clean and quaint with a great pool and hot tub. We will definitely be back and we want to thank Dave and his staff for all their help and laughs during our stay!

Fantastic! I can't recommend this place enough. We arrived in off-season during a road trip through Colorado. Staff was super helpful and attentive. Wish we had been able to stay another night.

This was my 3rd year staying at this lodge, and again it did not disappoint me. Dave and his staff are amazing. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and all the necessary amenities you need are available and clean. Pokolodi Lodge's location cannot be beat. It is near all the restaurants and the bus depot, which is ideal when visiting Snowmass for the Labor Day Experience. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place!

The only good thing about this place is the staff. And location. Otherwise this place is similar to motel 6. I am in my room now and hear every word and every step from people upstairs and the next door. Breakfast is standard. They offer simple pastry, yogurt
cereal, waffle station, toast/bagel, fruit cocktail and pre-made hard boiled egg. Breakfast room may get crowded at certain times. BTW this is our second time stay here. I don't care much about the breakfast but the noise was really bothering me. I guess previous time the place was not that busy and we may not had anyone above us. You will hear every little squeek and step in the floor above.

Stayed here for New Years just gone.

Lovely, spacious, warm room with easy access to the slopes and Snowmass Malls at the top, so you can pop to your room quickly if you need to change your equipment or get ready for going straight back out.

The breakfast was a bit basic for the price of the room - hence the four stars (toast, OJ, coffee, cereal) but suitable for prepping for a day on the slopes! Would definitely stay again :)

Pros: Good value for the price and convenient location in Snowmass Village.
Cons:No one was at the front desk when I came to check in at 5 although the office hour written says 7am to 9 pm. Also they were working on some maintenence job and the smell of petroleum on the hallway was pretty unpleasant.

Great location near Fanny Hill, the heart of the village, and the local shuttles. Clean rooms, polite staff, free continental breakfast. I have stayed here at least 1x a summer for the last 7 years. If you mountain bike ,ski, or hike, this is an awesome basecamp. We often stay for the music festivals. It's got a laid back vibe mountain vibe. The only cons are limited parking, and no ac...just open the window for a breeze.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager is so rude and has no customer service. They will run out of business if location is not close the aspen. Bathroom showing water has been a problem based on previous review. My wife and I experienced same issue, the general manager is simply lying to us the issue after I find out on google review. He rejected for changing room or apologizes to the staying, plus he yelled us and trying to send us away because worried other customers heard our complaints. DO NOT TRUST their review or comments. Worst hotel ever.

Great price for location! Stayed for just one night. Had almost everything we needed, didn't have a microwave :(. Room was a nice size. Didn't have A/C but a box fan was provided. Parking was a little bit of a hassle as you had to park across the street and lug all your luggage to your room so a couple of trips may be called for. Otherwise would recommend as a place to stay in area.

This place is AMAZING! My boyfriend and I stayed here during their slow season and it worked out great for us! The resort and village weren't crowded at all. I even had the hot tub all to myself, two nights in a row!! We knew Pokolodi was close to the Snowmass resort but we could literally see the Village Express from our balcony! We could walk from our room to the slopes in two minutes, no exaggeration. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the room was better than we imagined! Also on our last night we were lucky enough to have two wild foxes stroll through the property and hang out with us while we were on the balcony. (Pretty cool for us because we don't have foxes back home!) We definitely plan on staying at the Pokolodi Lodge when we return to Snowmass.

Great check in with a beautiful dog to greet you at the desk. Parking wasn't bad, pool and hot tub is nice although they should turn the hot tub and pool temp down in the summer. Snowmass village is within walking distance. Great location.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pokolodi Lodge. The room was well outfitted and clean, the bed very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the location convenient and attractive, and the price very reasonable. I loved that the room had a balcony. The continental breakfast could have used a little more protein but was overall sufficient (and free!). I'd definitely recommend staying at the Pokolodi Lodge for a visit to Snowmass or Aspen.

Stayed over the Covid season and the staff was great. They worked hard to make our stay first rate. This lodge is really convenient to the Snowmass lifts and the Aspen Bus system. Walking distance to all of the important amenities for skiing. I will definitely return

Nice little lodge. Comfortable rooms with all the basic amenities you'd expect. Very well located within snowmass village with easy access to the village mall. Breakfast included was also good, basic, but with a variety of items. Staff in front desk were friendly and helpful.

The person at the front reception had zero customer service skills. He just handed me a map to go hunting for my room in the maze like hotel. We had two crying kids at night time and had to go in circles looking for our room till I had to call him to help us. When entering the room there was not a proper lock on the door which was very freaky and scary especially with a toddler. All night we could here loud people above us the walls are beyond paper thin. The beds were very uncomfortable Very disappointed in our visit.
When I was checking out and the new person asked how my visit was and I told him what has happened he just looked at me like I was crazy. HORRIBLE customer service skills. Not coming back.

Wow! Very happy with our stay in Aspen!! We were early for check in because we were driving around 4 hours and didn t know how traffic would be. Dave, the manager was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we were situated and knew what was happening. He pulled out maps (multiple) to show us where the best places to go were. He made sure we were fully informed about the bus. He even handled our parking permit for us. Great guy and great sense of humor. Oh, and he s got a beautiful dog
Also, the man named Hayden who works here at the front desk could not have been nicer. He helped me look for my missing bag and even offered my boyfriend to borrow his own bathing suit as he forgot his own. So nice!!
Will definitely be coming back.

You can not beat this place! Best price in Snowmass, right next to the Aspen shuttle stop. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room renovations make this hotel just as good as any new hotel, with the charm of an independently owned facility. If I come back, I will stay here again.

Nice room in a cute location. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Was surprised that they didn't take Mastercard as a credit card and that the office closed at 9pm when all other information said 11pm. Also, no AC provided.. room was rather warm.

I visited the Pokolodi over the July 4th weekend while an eco music festival was going on. I thought it was way better than some of the negative reviews! The rooms were clean and maintained, the pool was warm and clear, the hot tub was hot and the grass was green. The GM was nice as can be and let people have a good time. Google maps does the location no justice. It's closer the the ski in basin and there is a ski lift 50 feet away. It also has no buildings blocking it's view on the scenic side looking down the canyon. I'll highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Pokolodi, it was a fantastic time, 2 thumbs up!

This is in response to the reply under my original review. The whole point of leaving reviews is to help others in their choices. I was not going to complain about issues upon checking out because I do not see what that would have solved. Your responses under multiple low reviews that I have read are unprofessional and emotional. People reviewing this are not being emotional, but letting others know of their experience. Please take this into consideration in your future responses.

The front desk is not friendly and due to their internal miscommunication, they tried to charge for missing key but in reality only one key instead of two was given during check in. Be more careful when checking in to avoid argument when checking out with front desk

I love this place, it's the only place I've actually stayed at in snowmass village mainly because it always has the best deals during the summer. Not sure about the winter. It's located right next to everything so you can walk to any restaurant or shop with in minutes and it's close to all the lifts as well. Staff has always been really friendly and helpful. The pool is really nice as well.

Bad customer service especially their manager, they charged me $40 for wrong use of the coffee maker as they told me. I discussed that with the manger, he was so angry and shut the phone to my face, before that he said " don't waste my time and have a nice fu***g day

Great summer value! Room and bed were very comfortable. Request a room with a patio. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Microwave next to the ice machine. Breakfast wasn't anything special but there was enough to get the day started. The staff was very hospitable and made our stay relaxing.

The management at this hotel is cold-blooded. The Denver airport was closed down in March because of a huge snowstorm and I was unable to fly in for my reservations as all flights for a few days were cancelled. Even when calling a couple days in advance with my unique situation, the hotel would not hear me out and charged me full price for all nights. Any cancellation and mitigation requests were denied. Find another hotel who values their guests.

The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious even for a twin share. The bed is super comfortable, what I want after a long day. The Snowmass mall is 2 min walk and the gondola is very close. Beautiful views, amazing weather, best holiday stop.

Great

Stayed here in September. Room was clean, parking was not too far away but they did have 15 minute unloading. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just so-so, but will not complain as the price was competitive.

I have no idea what the hotel is like because we got stopped by the weather. They have a super strict no refund policy outside of 72 hours which is fine, but the dude on the phone was rude and they did nothing to try and keep me as a customer. I asked if I could just push my reservation back a week so it wasn t a giant waste of money, but he was pretty rude and said no. Again, totally their right to say no, but compared to other experiences I have at hotels this felt like a pretty big middle finger. I never give one star reviews but this place clearly doesn t care about repeat customers or even basic decency, so 1 Star it is.

My wife and I stayed at Pokolodi Lodge the week of February 8 - 15th 2019. The place is amazing I wish I can give it 6 stars. The location can't be beat. Walk directly onto the slope with no stairs and ski down to lift. The staff were incredible. Extremely friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off right on schedule at Aspen Airport. Great breakfast (FREE) Fresh Fruit, Waffle station, Hard Boiled Eggs, Fresh Breads and assortment of cereals and yogurt. The Manager (Dave) was extremely courteous and made us feel at home. Actually the whole staff made us feel at home. I can't say enough about our experience. We can't wait to go back.

I just concluded another great stay at the Pokolodi Lodge. The rooms and amenities are first class. The management and staff are superlative and very gracious. Its location couldn't be better. It is a great value.
