You've got to love the race track in your back yard. I go here for track day events and have thus been on the double infield. It's not a super difficult configuration and really you just have to watch your infield/main straight transitions. Highly recommend it and the Track Night in America events hosted there.

Great atmosphere, good people, lovely racing. Beautiful part of the country for vacationing in general. Trips spanning a week could easily be planned ending with Nascar...

Great yourself to infield parking. Pocono is the only track I've ever been able to walk back to the car at. Easily less than 10x the distance of most tracks.

I bought club Pocono tickets which includes the above, plus fan visions (60 dollar value), pit passes, and seats to all races Saturday and Sunday.

I've been twice, and would definitely go again.

Pocono Raceway is a family oriented track with a pleasant staff and endless activities for people of any age to enjoy. They have some of the cleanest facilities I have ever seen at any sporting event I have ever attended. Anybody who can complain about parking or a re-entry policy has clearly never attended another sporting event because frankly, no parking ever takes less than 20 minutes at least on the day of an event. Before entering you are made very clear of their no re-entry policy so remind yourself to double check that you have everything you need. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful and are always available to assist you.

Infield events are great fun. At any age, you can easily find an array of different activities that are fairly priced. The security has never been anything but kind, no they are not badgering. Their concerts are always phenomenal.

They are the only racetrack I know of with a "bark park" a fantastic little area to bring your dog.

In my opinion, vendor food is delicious. As far as vendor food goes Pocono Raceway has some of the best of any sporting event I have ever attended.

There really isn't a bad seat, as far as any long track goes it is difficult to see into the backstretch, however anywhere you sit you're bound to have a great viewing experience

As it goes with any event, buying tickets the day of, you will most likely wait in line. It is in your best interest to print out your tickets ahead of time.

In my opinion, and I cannot stress enough, to make the best experience for yourself, prepare in advanced. Because of their no re-entry policy, make sure you bring everything that you may need. Print your tickets, bring sun screen. Whatever you think you might need, bring with you. This solves most all of the "problems" other people claim to run into upon arrival. You make the best of your own experience.

Track to big for its own good

Track to big for its own good

Number 1 if your in the stands you can't see the whole track from any of the seats including part of turn 1 and or turn 3 and the backstretch

2. Cars go by stands so fast that it is imposable to see cars when they are viewable.

3. No return to your car if you go to the fan zone

4. Bus transport system does not run after the race you have to walk back to your car.

5. Only top 5 cars on the leader board.

6. Fan screens to see the rest of the track are unviewable from most of the grandstand

Nice and unique track tucked away in the Pocono area. Went for the Gander Outdoors 400. Free parking and decent facilities. Concession prices were more reasonable than other tracks I've been too. Not much else to do on race day but what do you expect.

Love going to Pocono! But not liking the later start. Also, many folks directing where to park on the way in, but none for the traffic going out after the race sat for an hour and ten minutes without moving an inch!

I absolutely loved the pocono 400 weekend. It was my first race at pocono and just my second time attending a NASCAR. I had a pit lane pass and was able to go on pit road with my family and see the teams putting up the pits. On pit lane I also saw Richard Petty and his driver Bubba Wallace. Later in the day we went to the tricky triangle club where we saw and got autographs from Richard Childress, William Byron, and Ryan Blaney. The only issues I had were finding staff and when I did find them I found some of them to be disrespectful and rude and not know anything about the racetrack or how to help us. We searched up and down the grandstands with my disabled dad trying to find people to help us and we couldn t. Eventually we found some people that directed us to pit lane and could help us find our seats. The tunnel to get to pit lane is like it was built of something and there s a huge dip. After the race we were waiting in a line for the elevator for at least 30 minutes. There was this lady in a yellow and black coat that said security on the back that I found to be EXTREMELY RUDE and not kind to any of the fans. I also found that there were not a lot of ways for transportation. Only walking and with my disabled dad it was extremely difficult for him to get to places at the track. The one time we were actually able to find a person to take us somewhere, we asked him to take us to the elevator and he took us underneath the grandstands to the bottom of the stands right next to the fence and we had to climb all the way up to the 300 section to get to our seats. I would say fan experience was pretty good but staff issues need to be fixed. Overall a good weekend.

The staff at the track are incredible, and the entire facility was clean, and eco friendly. Nothing better than using the restroom at a place like this and not being disgusted. Also appreciated the free parking and how close that parking is. My only dislikes were that none of the food vendors took credit and I had to use an ATM and pay those fees. I also sat pretty close to the track, but I'm not sure there are seats high enough to see the entire track which is typically the big complaint I hear from others, too.

The race was great. However the township needs to work harder to let people leave in a timely manor. The race ended at 6 and its now 8 and I won't bother to turn the engine on until the traffic starts to move! Been up and down the east coast for NASCAR and this is the worst traffic of all.

Great
