The tour is very well done and the unfiltered beer is a must try.

Very interesting brewery tour and subsequent mass tasting in the Braukeller. But not even bad. Recommended.

Food bad I had meat hard and partner stinky cabbage. It benefits from a good place.

CZ is country which introduced beer to world but I personally Like German Beer more specially Bayern breweries. But this one place is having some special taste.

I tried there beer outside as well but if you het chance do try inside. It is little different which felt.

The guided tour of this place is of 1 hour almost and at the end they do beer tasting. The old things are mostly made up ones and few old preserved things like any other European place but it is nice to do one time experience. Do not try food if u are really hungry because it is not up to the mark but in general it is good taste.

I like old monument so 4 star but I can end up in 3 as well for such place, just one extra for the bike in pictures

I am sad and disappointed after today's visit (August 28, 2020). I have enjoyed being here countless times, friendly, attentive service, good food and of course good beer. The food today was below average, the waiter put the food on the table without a word, he didn't say anything to me. I felt rejection, today I felt very uncomfortable here. What a shame

If you are touring Prague, then the town of Plze is worth diverting to. The Czech people consume more beer per capita than any other country, sorry Deutchland, you were second. The Pilsner Urquell Brewery can help you occupy a few hours of your day and teach you the origin of the Pilsner variety of beer and why it came about. The tour of the Urquell compound was super. Getting to taste their pilsner direct from a massive wooden barrel, at its peak of freshness was the highlight of my tour, the delicious lunch from their restaurant was a very close second. The souvenir shop sells neat 5 liter kegs of the golden brew for home consumption, it's self contained all you need is a cold glass to fill. I'll be back.

Very nice tour of the brewery. You really have to taste the Pilsner straight from oak cask. There's the main courtyard where you can have drinks and snacks, sometimes events are being held here. The 5th of october is a big annual celebration day here.

I would like to thank once again for the brewery tour, especially the engraving glasses center staff who made the worst day become the best day. kind, a warm experience.

I'm in Pilsen at home and have seen the visit several times. Of course, the difference between the guides is not recognizable for visitors who are enjoying their first time. I wish everyone a person who is knowledgeable, can answer questions professionally and who does not believe that they would rather have a robot work for them. They are also available in the house. In addition, I also recommend a visit to Gambrinus Brewery next door. Something interactive ..... Who does not have time, must be satisfied with the relatively expensive food and drink in the inn Spilce. All others I recommend a variety of good cheap restaurants and pubs in the vicinity of the Pilsen marketplace.

I would also like to give more stars, my confirmed booking of the tour unfortunately did not get into the system, and yet the girls in the visitor center were able to arrange the tour and wait for us to enjoy the sightseeing ice sculptures. The brewery visit was very entertaining. For 100 crowns we had a 1.5 hour German-speaking tour with beer tasting. Highly recommended, for a holiday in Pilsen.

Excursion to the brewery in order, interesting even if it is, or should be, one of the best breweries in the world so it missed something. But what is the horror of all the horrors is the Pilsen restaurant in the brewery. I have never experienced such a low quality. Not only that you can smoke there, ie forbidden entry with children and those who do not want to smell smoke, but especially the level of service, food and space is truly terrible. The attendant reached the order after 10 minutes of waving, the cabbage salad was in Ceasar salad, the dumplings were inedible, the torn lining, which seemed to remember Communism, at the entrance we had to cross it (no one had to cross it) not even until after we left after an hour) etc. For that, the whole Pilsen brewery can only be ashamed and it is a business card management that everyone can think theirs. Is it incompetence or blindness, laziness ...?

Pleasant interior of the restaurant. but its among the worst service I had in cz. my beer glass stayed empty for 15 min and is still empty whilst I am writing this review. the food is ok. but the waiters are sleepy and not caring at all! can you imagine an empty glass of beer in a brewery?

If you are in Pilsen, be sure to visit this place. The tour of the brewery is really very interesting. The guide will guide you through the area and besides the bottler you will also visit the lager cellar. Tasting is a matter of course. Unfiltered and unpasteurized Pilsen is a delicacy.

We have been to the brewery to do a tour. Those tour was not hold although it was scheduled. Guess less audience are the reason. We drove just for this by and couldn't make any tour.

For lovers of red liquor, this visit is a must and a great experience. Tasting in the cellars is unforgettable.

I was surprised at how great this tour was. I wasn't the biggest fan of Pilsner Urquell until I took the tour and found out how much work goes into making this refreshing beer. The tour was great and incredibly informative. It ends with a tour of the lagering tunnels under the grounds of the brewery which will blow your mind. Well worth the nominal fee for the tour, and an easy stop-over on your way to Prague.

If you are in Pilsen you should definitely visit this brewery. For 10 euros you will be taken on the site for 100 minutes. You visit the old and new brewery and you get access to the bottling plant and the cellars. You will be taken from the past to the present. We chose the English speaking guide but also German could. At the end you get a beer. Fresher is not possible
