Would give 0 stars if I could. I agree with the others. Please be mindful of this place. They will take your money and charge fictitious charges on your account when moving out. A way of keeping your deposit, even when you ve did all things by the PLK rule book, from cleaning the apartment once moved out and giving the rental office 45 days notice to vacate. When I voiced and communicated my concerns they hide behind the bush and avoid you. Very disappointing! I ve lived at this location for 3 years with no issues until I decided to move out, I guess that is when PLK showed their true colors.

I was charged a $200 furniture fee when I moved all of my belongings along with them over charging me so I couldn t get my deposit back. Straight ignorance .
Where to start with this company... First off I will make note that I was living in an Ant Infested apartment at Latitude for the entire year I was there. I told maintenance about this issue and they NEVER did anything about it... I lived on first floor so at first I figured because of foundation but once there were so many on my carpet by the back door to the point when I was trying to clean them out, they bit me because there were so many... They would come in by the bottom where the floor and wall meet in my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. It was so bad I would find ants in MY BED and them crawling up my walls. When I voiced this infestation to management and maintenance they did nothing... Not to even come out and try and find a way from the ants coming in.... NEXT: I was without a Microwave for over a month because maintenance didn't feel the need to come and replace my microwave that fully stopped working... The AC always went out and never worked properly as well... Management is awful awful awful. They DO NOT care about resident concerns and issues when it comes to your apartment. The building always smells like weed and they do nothing about that and there is NEVER parking.
Moving out: When I was told by Marie Lee and Dianna that when I moved out I would be accessed the water charges and any "damages". When I gave them my vacate date within their vacate notice timeframe, they told me that if they get another renter in the apartment by the time we leave and HAND OUR KEYS IN (because once you hand your keys in... You no longer are tied to that apartment) we wouldn't have to pay for the last month on our contract. They told me they would waive that last months rent due to new renters being in the apartment. NOW: Weeks following my move out even though I gave them my move out date knowing I was in contract until May I had a high possiblity at the time where I needed to stay until the contract date- so I called and when I let them know my concern they told me they had already rented my apartment out and that HAD TO MOVE OUT on the date I gave them... They would NOT let me stay to my full contract when I possibly needed to at that time... So when I was told the new renters where moving in and taking over, I had to be out.
Marie Lee lied to me because now I get a letter in the mail of a list of fees and charges left and right. They also are charging me for the month of MAY (my last month with them prorated of course) but still charging me even though they said the renters in the apartment and they wouldn't even LET ME STAY TO MY FULL CONTRACT.. BUT still have me pay for a month I am not there for and wasn't even allowed to be.. This company is a disgrace. Unfortunately because it's all about money they fail to even meet or follow their own mission statement... Disgusting company and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Stay far away from PLK if you can and do not make the mistake many many others have including myself signing a lease with this company. I'm sure you can find a much better leasing company else where..
So basically even though they were told by someone that wanted to move in and backed out and wouldn't even let me stay to my full contract... Wants to charge me the rent up to my end contract that I was denied to stay.... This company is a disgrace.
have been at Burgundy court in 2 different apartments for over 3 years. In that time I have never seen a more blatant disregard for people living in the community. I was moving from one unit to another Finally got the key for new place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and they want to charge me $75 of my deposit because I could not get the old apartment keys back until Monday??? are you serious there was no one in the office due to covid-19 so no way to return, and I was told by manager not to worry that I had the weekend to move and return the key. This place is an absolute joke do not move into a PLK community EVER!!!!
If you're interested in renting from this company, give it a hard pass. They will literally nickel and dime you for everything. And management is HORRIBLE! I've tried contacting them regarding my security deposit to no avail. These people charged me $150 to take stickers off the wall. STICKERS. And their cheap blinds apparently cost $120 to replace. Absolutely ridiculous. I would hate to know how much they would be charging me if everything wasn't completely cleaned.
Don't move in lake side landing apartment in lakeside Park ky they are a money grabber to once you move in they stop caring for they tenant's there's excuses made everytime you mentioned a issue with them they play dumb act like they don't get emails but they email you when rent is due and a late fee
I would give 0 starts if i could POOR management, UNSAFE environment, the management does not care and will say Corporate Will not do this or that but I ve asked for their number and have yet to receive it. PARKING IS TERRIBLE, BREAKING IN OUR CARS, MAINTENANCE ISSUES LAST FOR MONTHS. WEED SMOKE IN THE HALL WAYS, CAMERAS OUTSIDE THAT DONT WORK, In general this is just not a good place. Theyre budget is more important than the residents but they will take your money. They can t keep managers at this location. They cant even keep the managers safe let alone the residence.
Was told by leasing consultant to leave the review so it would get the attention of management, either because she didn't understand what I was talking about, or, better, that someone in management can and work to address the situation.
I understand the marketing automation and workflows you have set up to facilitate communication and property management - I've administered marketing automation systems in the past. You had a breakdown recently that left our family questioning your competence, however.
Been a resident for over 15 years. We've maintained our renters insurance during that time. We understand that you need to maintain updated declarations as policies are close to lapsing.
In November we received the first automated message and contacted our insurance company to address the concern. They sent us the updated Declarations page, and I replied to the automated message with the attachment.
A few days later, we received another message from the system, warning us about not providing the documentation. I called the rental office, and the Leasing Consultant, whose name was on the email, said she never received an email. I told her what the email address was, and she said that replies don't come to her. What? Oh, I reasoned. That may have been an email address set up by an administrator not intended for replies to be sent. I told her she should communicate with you guys to make sure it's better understood. She told me the correct address to forward the the documentation, and I sent it.
Yet... a few days later, I received yet another email warning us about a $25 late fee that would be assessed if we didn't show the documentation. I called the Leasing Consultant, upset now, but she said we had nothing to worry about; the documentation was on file.
We paid our December rent. No problem.
I signed in this morning, December 30th, to pay our January rent early, since the 1st begins the long holiday weekend. I was confused and upset to see that the $25 late fee had been assessed!!! Irate, I emailed the apartment management with a screenshot of what I was looking at, demanding the late fee be removed.
I stopped in at the rental office this afternoon to discuss with the Leasing Consultant directly. She pulled up our account and didn't see anything outstanding. I signed into the portal on my end and didn't see anything outstanding.
So, while all was resolved, I am left wondering. Again, I tried to explain this to the Leasing Consultant, but she didn't understand or appear to at least and recommended leaving this review.
What I told her is what I'm telling you: the entire experience has left me and my family questioning your competence and wondering if we will need to do all the extra following up, going forward.
