I have a long history of negative experiences at Plaza Toyota. What is shocking is why I continue to go there. Our relationship ends today.
I will summarize my experiences here
1. I dropped off my car with valet key and remote key. They returned it with only the valet key and claimed I never handed them the remote key. When I threatened to file a police report, the remote key was miraculously found
2. The mechanic took my car on a personal errand for a couple of hours on another visit
3. Last week the agent did not review the condition of my car before they took it in. I was not aware of the body damage that had been done on the passenger side the night before, so I assumed it was done by Toyota. Had the agent performed the walk around, I would have been made aware of the damage and we would have both avoided hours of aggravation in reviewing the security video tape
4. Today, I brought my daughter's car in for a recall. I was told it would take two hours for that , a windshield wiper repair, and an oil change. After almost three hours, I was told they had to order the wiper arm. I was already aggravated by the long wait and said to just do the oil change. They were going to charge me $130 for a diagnostic fee. After arguing (loudly) the manager agreed that there was nothing diagnostic about seeing that the car needed a wiper arm and eliminated that charge.
