Playland's Castaway Cove Review

This is a fun place for the family to go when it's not crowded. However, it can get too crowded and be less enjoyable. Longest line was to the bathrooms.

A jewel of the Jersey Shore. It's truly a clean safe family atmosphere.

A classic. A great please to pick up shore toys and clothing!

Great place for the kids and adults. Variety of rides good prices. Well maintained and up to date. Food stands and carts are great. Bigger rides than expected on a boardwalk. Will definitely visit again the kids loved it! The blue roller coaster was very fast and the spinning planes was fun. The swings are a simple yet fun ride for all ages. The rides tgat shoot you up and down quick are a bit much for me but again the kids liked them.

Amazing time there. Price was a little higher then expected but for the sake of tickets to cost it was fair. Would visit again!!

Fun!!! But it's $1 a ticket... General ride is 4-5 tix.. Baby rides 2-3.. So of course I didn't go on any so she could ride more.. Fun but sad lol.. but I enjoyed watching my 8 year old daughter have a blast!!

Would be awesome if a wristband for kids was available, however the rides are great and there are pleanty of them.

The kids love it. They always have a great time at this amusement park. The ferris wherl is my favorite. Great place to take some great pics of the view.

Fun time with the kids. Disappointing that the new roller coasters that all the signs are promoting (including the electronic billboard that can be updated in moments) as being open for 2016 are not even done construction yet.

Great rides. But bathrooms are a mess! Really stinky!

This is my favorite boardwalk amusement pier. They have a great selection of rides and arcade games. You pay for what you ride/play - no entrance fee! Only thing I was surprised by was how expensive it was to ride their new roller coaster.

Very family oriented. But I noticed they didn't wipe down rides after use. We are in the middle of a pandemic.

Clean great feels safe 2 ways in 2 ways out. Rides are just expensive everywhere

We love it here! However if you don't like crowds dont come on a Saturday night! And dont bring a stroller! Too many people and not enough space. There's a ramp you can park your stroller at. There's plenty of rides for everyone. My one complaint was the operators on Gale Force. I understand safety first but they were very rude to everyone in line and made it seem like a chore instead of pumping everyone up for an awesome ride. So mind the crowds. To my fellow locals come here a little earlier before the shoobies totally take over!!

Great park for kids and adults. Tickets are never expires.

Having an employee stop you to wave a metal detector over you in order to ride Galeforce is over the top and condescending.

Very awesome. My favorite ride was definitely the "Happy Swing" as they called it.

Always a good time at Castaway Cove. We have been visiting here every summer for years. Kids grew up on the rides and still enjoy them as young adults!

What a fun little amusement park. One of two situated along the Ocean City boardwalk but my favorite of the two. A great mix of rides for all ages. I don't feel like I'm being ripped off either as my kids just love it. Even if you don't have a lot of time I still recommend at least walking through the midway.

Not bad at all the rides are short but 3 to 4 tickets per ride. Buy the sheet it's your best bet if you have little ones. The bigger rides are like 10 to 14 tickets, tickets are 1 each.

I gave 4 stars cause I didn't see enough workers sanitizing the rides. It's always a good time for my family.

Definitly a great boardwalk amusement park. I've been going here for almost ten years. The rides are always clean and they feel safe, not like your average carnival ride. The rides here are a little more thrilling than wonderland pier on the other side of the board walk. I would definitly recommend the new rollercoaster and the double shot.

So much fun! Just wish there were a few more options for kids under 36".

Took my nephew's and they had a wonderful time. Everyone was wearing masks. Hand sanitizer equipments are through out the boardwalk

Played miniature golf there. Nice course and very clean.

Rides for the whole family right on the boardwalk. Rides and areas are clean. Tickets are not the cheapest but nothing is. My six year old loves the rides. Wait times for rides are not long at all even in the busiest times of summer.

Lots of fun in small area on Boardwalk. Packed so close; difficult to find rides entrances.

Plenty of rides for the entire family. Very clean. There is cleaning staff sanitizing the rides and plenty of markings around the rides for social distancing

The ride operators know how to smile and make sure the kids have a good time.

The kids are always the most excited about this place. I have to say im impressed they can fit this many awesome rides in such a small area. We never go to the boardwalk without going to Castaway Cove

Great pier for younger kids. Very clean, well maintained, and lit up no dark corners can feel safe letting your kids off the leash a little bit, let them run around and have fun while feeling safe. Definitely more kid friendly than Wildwood

Fun but 14 tickets for the new ride is a bit extreme.

This is a great amusement park to go and enjoy an evening with family and friends. Each ride takes a certain number of tickets to go on, and the lines aren't usually very long. Children under 2 years old get to ride certain rides for free, but the person that escorts them on the ride does have to pay. It isn't a very big park, but it can definitely occupy you for an entire evening.
