I purchased a cool collectors item a few months ago and when I got there they told me they didnt have my item because this consignor sucks . Very unprofessional. I had to then go back another day.

I tried bidding again this time for some fitbit accessories. I sat by my phone and refreshed & updated my max bid for an hour because I was watchinf these for 5 days. But for some strange reason, I was winning up until 5 seconds before the bid was done and it was too late to place a higher bid before the time expired and was outbid . It appears as though they BID ON THEIR OWN ITEMS last minute. A few of the same screen names seem to pop up and outbid a lot of the times on various items so look out for that.

They also appear to sell a lot of GROUPON GOODS so be careful that you re not overpaying.

Overall they may have a few cool things but definitely not worth the headache & terrible customer service. I would suggest the ontario hibid site or even the toronto police auctions

I was skeptical when I first came across this website. Some of the reviews seemed to say some rather nasty things about this company.

I won 2 items through their online auction and picked up/paid for them at their location. My items were EXACTLY what I bid on for the EXACT price I bid. No hidden fees, no BS.

I am happy to make this review and I''ll definitely continue being customer

Good and cooperative staff. Like any auction you need to be watchful on what you are paying.

They are a bunch of thrives. Pretty packages filled with garbage.

This is the best kept secret in York. Their site is extremely simple to use and they have a wide variety of great deals available. I've already saved a ton of money through them.

The staff at Platinum are great! I had a special request with one of my orders, and they were very friendly and more than happy to offer me options that suited my request.
I can t comment on shipping as I ve never used it, but pick up is fast, organized and easy.

My only complaint is that I cannot buy anything there over $100, too risky, since on three separate occasions my items arrived either damaged or in an open envelope that someone didn't care enough to seal properly so some items fell out and got lost during shipping. Their shipping people simply don't care.

It looks like a strange place and I don't trust them...

Buyers beware.. I bid on several pallets and won them only to find that all the goods are missing parts, broken etc.. It looks like they were sorted before the bidding and the good boxes were removed,

They sell fake autographs with fake certificates of authenticity.

Platinum Liquidation is a great company, its fun and and exciting to be on items, and compete and be blessed to get a great deal.

Too many ghost / fake bidders on their website, so beware. Who bids twice (over themselves) when there is no other bidder and raises the price? If you're going to fake bids, at least make it less obvious.
The starting prices can be good but they become similar to retail, after all the fake bids bumping it up, so you might as well shop retail.

Beware!!!....had credit cards compromised on three occasions ...to make sure, the third time I set them up by using a new card and within days it was used without authorization by others ...called them several times ...never responded.....had my computer system checked by profesional for security issues ...none

not sure what to think the website went down after i bid on somthing and made an account ? dont know whats happening ...
