Traditionally a place to get in, get what you want, and get out. I've never known IKEA stores to be well regarded for service or an entirely sensible layout. But while employees don't go out of their way to ask customers if they need assistance, I have found them fully willing to help when asked.

To save hassle, know what you need to buy and roughly where it's located before starting shopping, else you'll end up more frustrated than necessary.

Lots of parking and pretty well layout. I wish they didnt take away free coffee for Ikea members

Not only do they have stylish furniture but they have a very nice kitchen that serves very good breakfast.

They force you to walk the whole thing. But I love Ikea

Spent more than I should have, again. Just such cool stuff. Cool thing they don't have pop at their drink stations. The have fruit flavoured water. It is amazing!!! So refreshing. Pear is my favorite.

I love walking around the showroom. Lots of selection at great prices. Love to go there once a while.

Great cheap furniture but it is so chaotic in here. Highly suggest you know what you are looking for because browsing - especially with kids can be tough!!

terrible service and one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. Purchased a large order for my office and paid for delivery and installation. The order arrived and they refused to assemble everything but rather 5 of 50 items as the original sales person failed to input the order correctly. they then told name I had to go back to the store in order to fix their mistake. no customer service, incompetent sales and not worth the time and hassle for the savings.

Sale on living room furniture right now 25% off! Ikea is always great prices, but just watch the quality on some items. Also they have new service that you can have them assemble and deliver for you if you want to save hassle.

A good place to hang out with family. Love their restaurant and snack bar.

Horrific returns department. Their ticket based system for returns does not work. Very frustrated with the staff's lack of concern over upset customers! I will do my best to avoid this bad customer service nightmare!

I left the review below on the IKEA site to complain but received a response rejecting it for Privacy Concern I thought I would post it here as they clearly have decided to not allow bad reviews on their site. There was really no response to my complaint about this delivery experience and it seems that this is common for them. As a side note the delivery guy said this is common with IKEA that the products are not able to be delivered into the home.

I purchased this item along with two of the matching armchairs and paid for delivery. The items came to my house in huge boxes much too large to fit through my standard front doors. Delivery people stated that they would not unbox and just left items in my front yard. It took me an hour to unbox, pack these in the house by myself and clean up. Clean up left we with an entire pickup truck worth of waste. How would Ikea think sending items in crates too large to fit in a home is a good idea. I bought my other furniture from a local furniture store and while it came in packing also, the delivery drivers unboxed them and took the packaging away after putting the items in my HOUSE. I am so unhappy with this ridiculous experience. I tried to complain but it took 20 minutes on hold to get complaints and at the end they told me if I wanted a rebate on the terrible delivery then I had to go to another department and the current wait was 40 minutes. Even leaving this review was an ordeal. Perhaps Ikea sucks really bad all the time but there is just too much difficulty for people to complain

Always very busy and hard to find help. Good products and prices though so it s ok.

2.5 hours waiting time to return a 60 Dollars item today.

Arranged a new shopping and storm shop. In the demo room, it looks pretty, but why do you think it is so hard to see if it looks like a misguided corruption ... I think it will be useful until I move.

Good experience even though IKEA is a little overrated and prices are not always that cheap for the quality of the products they sell.

Found what we wanted. Very good lunch of salmon fillets for a most reasonable price.

It's always busy here, but seems more so latley. Lines are crazy long but the staff is managing it all with a smile and getting everyone through quickly, good job!

Love this affordable family friendly place. Just wish they had carts, like Walmart, that could accommodate 2 toddlers as I pretty much didn't go here for several years because of that. Impossible to buy stuff pushing a stroller and their cart.

Horrible experience! We ordered a pull-out couch for same day delivery. They then called to tell us that they don't have the mattress, but would bring it the next day. We agreed that this was fine. Next day comes, and we hear nothing. We call Ikea, and they tell us that there is nothing on file about us not receiving the mattress, and that they would get back to us for a follow-up within 3-5 business days.

Customer service then proceeded to put us in circles, without directing us to anyone who could guarantee that we would receive the key piece to our new couch. We wanted to speak to the store directly and they not only refused to transfer us, but lied and said we could google the store number and call them ourselves. There is no direct store number. We are frustrated and will not deal with this store again.

**This review is specifically for the food at Ikea - nothing else.
This is a very quick and cheap place to grab a bite to eat. Had lunch here and it cost me $4.20 for two hot dogs, pizza slice, and a pop. The cafeteria upstairs has a bigger selection of food, the prices are a bit higher, but still cheap for what you get. Lots of room to sit, it's relatively clean for a cafeteria style place. I think their $1 breakfast is no longer available (not 100% sure) but they do advertise a $2.49 breakfast. You can't beat these prices.

One stop shop solution for all your home needs. Be it furniture, storage equipment, furnishings, food, etc. You name it, they have it. Great prices and deals too

Finding our way out of the building to a bus station was a nightmare. They dont have guid signs here in canada.

Typical IKEA but the staff are very friendly and not apathetic like they seem at other locations; also very knowledgeable.

Convenient interior layout and parking is easy to access from all points of entry via car.

Each visit is an adventure to add another piece to my home decor and hotdogs/drinks to wrap up the visit.

Amazing food, daycare service so you can shop in peace, kids area with the kids area (amazing)

A very busy IKEA even by IKEA standards. Convenient to Whatcom county if you're on that side...about half the drive time to the Renton location. Easy highway access coming and going.

So happy for our purchases but, a bit disappointed I thought they will Assemble after delivering.

Love the Swedish meatball meal & enjoy view from the restaurant. Shopping is a bonus!

This particular Ikea is fine, so it's just a question of whether you like Ikea or not. As far as furniture shopping goes it's relatively painless and relatively inexpensive. +1 star for being kid-friendly!

Went because someone else wanted to shop there. Ended up buying some things I hadn't planned on before going. I guess that's a good thing. :)

IKEA! What's not to like. A couple times around and you'll learn the short cuts to the exit. Something for everybody:with babysitters, home decor, did i mention they have beer?

Great store. They had everything I went to get, with ample stock easily located. Found lots of add ons but didn't break the bank. Check out was efficient and quick. Great example of what Ikea does well.

Demo rooms and product are great!! The incompetent staff, or untrained staff are not worth the trip. I tried to get a straight answer about home delivery from the delivery department and couldn't make sense of how it all worked. Walked away with no product and completely confused on how there delivery service works. Called Ikea head office and the nice lady explained the in home delivery and it all made sense. She was unsure why the people at the store were telling me all sorts of other craziness. Really not impressed with the disorganization in a store that prides themselves on streamlined high volume sales. Lesson learned from Ikea head office (you can pick products off the website, pay for them, and have them delivered without needing to go to a Ikea store) and shipping will be about the same.

This place was Great! Love shopping here! Went to the restaurant afterwards as I've never sat down and ate there. The experience was amazing, the food was Great! Will definitely return with an empty stomach next time!!

Many new products are now available great from practical utility and modern looks perspective. Especially like online browsing and order/pickup from IKEA store.

Great staff & selection. I bought a hutch & one of the latches was broken when i installed the door. I called & they shipped a replacement latch to me. I have bought all my dressers & night tables from ikea and i like that its contemporary furniture and reasonably priced.

We love IKEA for cheap furniture and accessories. Be prepared for crowds and super long lines on weekends. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I enjoy this store but the wait at the cashiers is ridiculous. I've dropped my items multiple times and walked out because it just wasn't worth the wait. Smalland is always full which gets frustrating. Maybe I should start going on a Wednesday morning at 10?

As usual ikea is highly recommended for everything. Kids enjoyed their time playing in the kids area and then had a great lunch with a very reasonable price. Love ikea

Pfff it's just another giant box store. Wanted one item they make you run around to only find out it ain't in stock... Shock at so many stores that have computers but there not set up to communicate together on stock....

It seems to be a neverending labyrinth filled with mouth breathers. They have some neat furniture and serve beer somewhere along the halfway mark ... so I guess it's not all bad.

Wish I could give 0. I purchased a large 16 cube book case. Brought all home and one box of 3 was completely used and missing all hardware. I brought back the box and spoke with Jenifer one of the managers and she was so rude and disrespectful I couldn't believe it. I showed her what I was returning and told me I had to bring all the boxes that came with the bookshelf. I said you want me to go back home "30km" and bring back all the stuff? She then says we can do this all day long in a childish voice like I was 5 years old and in trouble at school. She was making it my fault. I did go home and returned an hour or so later to find the person at the returns said I could of just returned the one box. I got a refund and will never go back. Jenifer also mentioned I was not anyone special and why should I go ahead of anyone else in the return department. I am a business owner and was a Manager at a large retail store and I would of been fired for how I was treated.

Edit to say I did speak with a support manager and told her my experience when we got a refund.

Love ikea. Always lots of lo cost and useful items for the home / office . We have 2 of the electronic stand up desks that you can adjust height on , and I could not be happier with them.

Very huge as expected. However, wifi can't be authenticated (always)! I've tried at many corners in the store on different days still failure.

The kitchen design experience was a nightmare, staff not willing to help without being paid, I would have thought ikea would have given them a wage. lol (Maybe not, lol) I left without a kitchen design and won't be going back.
