The service provided was excellent and worth the money we spent for a private tour. Our guide was experiment nice, answering all questions, anticipating our needs. We wanted an as authentic as possible tour and, although touristic by nature, the tour was providing the sense of authenticity. Last but not least the diner served was excellent.

The best desert safari in Dubai! I've have known about this coming for many years as have read about them and seen them in the media taking celebrities on desert safaris and when me and my mates did finally go it didn't disappoint. From the moment when our guide, Ibrahim, picked us up from our home to the time he dropped us off in the night, we experienced first class service and were treated like celebrities. The attention to detail that the company provides is second to none. On the way Ibrahim spoke to us about the schedule of the day and gave us the history about Dubai and the UAE. Once we got there we changed jeeps. Ibrahim drove a 1950s Land Rover and it was a beautiful jeep. During the drive, Ibrahim spoke about nature and the wildlife which we happened to see. We then went to the camp to be given a tour of how our food was prepared and the historical elements to it. We did so much more but don't want to write an essay. You get what you pay for in life and this desert safari is more expensive than the others but it's for a reason. Highly recommended.
By far the best experience during the whole Dubai vacation. Perfectly organized from start to finish. Picked up right at the hotel with modern and comfortable SUVs. Very polite and entertaining guide. The ride with the Old Timers is a wonderful feeling. The nature in the private conservatory is breathtaking, the wildlife is beautiful. The food is also perfect from A to Z. The selection enormous, the quality excellent. The performances (Falcon Show, Traditional Dance) are impressive. I would recommend the tour to anyone with a clear conscience and avoid cheap tourist trips. Thanks to all, but especially to our guide Paulo, it was an unforgettable day.

Did the balloons with them one day, and the safari with them another day, both were unbelievable and the guides were highly educated on the local area.
I booked a camel safari as part of my honeymoon and so glad I did. 5 star service from Nasir & team. He even surprised us with some flowers :). We got picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned vehicle & given a few gifts before a 45 minute camel ride into the desert. The camels were clean and seat was comfortable. The pace was pleasant and I was able to film on my go pro along the way.
There was a sunset falcon show and then buffet dinner, dancing, & more at night. I ended up purchasing the professional video & photos as they were amazing quality at a reasonable price. Overall a faultless experience that I highly recommend.

Eric was very informative, friendly & engaging. The entire staff was great. My whole family, including myself were unsure about this excursion as , I suppose we could not really imagine what we would do in the desert? This turned out to be a highlight of our two week holiday. Sam, was a great driver and guide and we all had great fun. Had no idea how beautiful the desert is! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was dreamy to go to desert safari in UAE and finally this dream came true in the best style I've could imagine, cruising throught sand dunes in this vintage car. Loved it
This tour was incredible and most definitely the highlight of our trip. It was well organised, authentic and informative. The Bedouin camp was magical and the Land Rover tour was very exciting. If it weren't for the camel rides, I would have given the tour 5/5 stars. Whilst the staff assured me that the camels are well cared for, hearing their moans and groans and watching their heads being held down while tourists mount them for rides and take photos was very upsetting for us. We do not believe animals should be exploited this way and we would have much preferred to have simply watched the camels from the Land Rovers or perhaps grazing at the Bedouin camp. This also applies to the falcon show- both unnecessary elements of the tour given how fantastic it already is without them. Please reconsider whether the use of these animals is necessary, despite their traditional, historic use by the Bedouin people. We appreciated the focus you already place on conservation of the environment, and watching semi-wild Arabian Oryx wander the dunes was far more pleasing than watching camels being forced to perform for eager tourists.
The platinum heritage desert safari was our hightlight of the trip. Our guide was very professional and friendly. We were amazed by the well-preserved landscapes. It's better than all the dunebashing safaris. PH offers a complete program that feels like an complete experience instead of seperate loose parts.
We were picked up from our hotel by a most informative (and funny) guide. He was a friendly, positive host and really enjoyed his work. The safari at the Desert Conservation Area was beautiful especially at sunset and the vintage Land Rover definitely added to the charm. No dune bashing at all but I found it even more enjoyable feeling the sandy breeze though I am a bit adventurous. We were never rushed and the stop just prior to sunset was spectacular. The food was cooked authentically and tasted awesome. Khaleeji dance was a very nice touch, in my opinion.

Amazing experience. We took the Camel Safari tour and all was exquisite. Pick up from the hotel on time, very friendly driver and guide who offered us nice information about UAE, Dubai and all the places we passed by on the way to the desert.
And once we got to the desert, the experience became even better. The 45 minutes camel ride was excellent, you can really get into the story of the bedouins. And after the ride, the dinner at the camp was again great. Excellent food selection, excellent service, friendly staff. Everything you can wish for. If you ever have the chance to book a desert tour with Platinum Heritage, do not hesitate. You will not regret it.

So we had the guide Mr. Youssef who comes from Morocco where to start, he is just the nicest guide we have had, he is exceptional. We went on safari with our 3 year old son Gabriel he was a kindness and attention to my son that I have never had before and as much as parents it touched us very much.

What a wonderful experience it was! Our tour guide; Dominik was engaging and bubbly. My family and I truly enjoyed the Land Rover ride, the falcon show, the sparkling date drink (LOVE THIS) and the dinner layout was amazing. The food was spectacular! You MUST do this tour. Everything is truly well organised. Each aspect built to the final dinner show, and everything in between was a teaser for the next. Our guide was Ibrahim, and he shared his knowledge of Dubai and UAE on the drive to the Conservation area (Range Rover was lovely and the highways are magnificent).
Then we began the education part of the tour, wandering through the desert, seeing the wildlife, learning about the efforts to preserve the desert flora and fauna. We arrive in a tent setting to interact with our Falcon handler Ryan (doing what he loves and "getting paid for it!!") and learn about falconry. Then onto the camel (a little awkward with a hip getting replaced in two weeks) to walk softly upon the desert and watch the amazing sunset - it is so quiet here - before disembarking at a Royal Desert Retreat for the evening meal in a private cabana in an oasis setting. We were made to feel like royalty.
The food was delicious - six courses - so don't eat lunch, but we had already had hor dourves, a cheese selection, and oysters (yummy and plump) before then, so eventually we had to forego dessert as we had no room left! To top the evening off, we enjoyed a shisha pipe, had a little henna painting done, and watched an awesome fire display.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone - this was an experience we will never forget!!
We had only 3 days in Dubai and we were told that the Dinner Safari is a must . Our guide had an excellent sense of humor, he arrived on time and he shared with us his vast local knowledge. Furthermore, he is an excellent driver: we felt very safe while riding through the desert. The old-fashioned Land Rover was a nice surprise. The scenery was breathtaking as we ventured toward the Boudin tribal camp at sunset.
Having in mind our delightful experience, I highly recommend this attraction.
Review of Private Night Vintage Land Rover Desert Safari & Astronomy
We had a private night safari with astronomy plus an additional camel ride. First, we had a very smooth drive from the hotel to the safari camp. Then we had an awesome private camel ride just before the sunset. So the weather was perfect, the views as well, camel carer was great, camels seemed to be very well taken care of (what is important to me). Then we started our safari drive in an old Land Rover which was fun. Our guide, Mahdi, told us some interesting facts about animals, country and the surroundings. We managed to see a snake (or a viper), scorpion and a gecko. And of course oryxes - they're plenty of them in the area and it so nice to see how the conservation program works. Then we had a bonus fire show followed by dinner at the Platinum Oasis. The show was short, but quite nice to watch, and the food was really tasty! The oasis looks great, there are tables in small tents around a small lake, the experience is very private and exceptional. And the last part was an astronomy lecture, so we heard many interesting things about stars, constellations and we could see some of the with a telescope. However, the astronomy session was not private, there were other people. So only the rest of the experience was private.
In general, I'd definitely recommend the company and the experience although I'd say that the program was quite full for the time we had there so sometimes I felt a bit rushed and I didn't have enough time for photos.
As for COVID precautions, in my opinion it was fine, although I would add a bottle of sanitizer plus some wet wipes at the table where we had dinner.
As for booking experience, we booked via an email, and the first person I was writing to, Lydia, was attentive and there were no issues. But when our date came and I wanted some confirmation about our booking she was no longer available, somebody else responded to my emails and they seemed not to know what was going on. So there is definitely a place for improvement.
Summing up, if you want to have a different type of safari, in a place that is not crowded with other companies, and the idea of ecotourism is important to you, I definitely recommend Platinum Heritage :)

An amazing experience!! Our driver (Ben) was nice and funny, he told us a lot about the history of the UAE and the desert. The Land Rovers are small so you basically have a private car. You get your own drinking bottles and can refill them on the way. The Falcon Show as well as the camp was great! Lots of details, nice staff and a 3 course dinner. We even got a special meal (vegetarian) which was really tasty. In the camp you can get a Hanna tattoo or ride a camel. And of course you get to see the sunset which was beautiful!!
The money was definitely worth it, we had an unforgettable afternoon!

Interesting. However due to Covid, crowds low and its evident that the operators were cutting costs. Shows were reasonable. 4x4 dune bashing very exhilarating. Dinner needs improvement. Long queue. We avoided buy having VIP seats with extra payment.

I would recommend d anyone that would like to have a taste of local culture. However, the desert drive experience could be little longer. Would like to spend more time on sand and heat. The evening dinner and entertainment was one of a kind. Brilliant. Thank you for the experience and the local knowledge about area and culture.

I did the evening Al Marmoom Bedouin experience and what can I say...it was just amazing! If you want to learn and experience how life used to be in the desert and about the culture of the UAE then book this tour. The guides have all been knowledgeable and really took their time to answer all your questions. The camp is set up beautifully and you get an amazing traditional dinner served. We had so much fun on this tour and it's great to see ecotourism evolving in the UAE.

I had an amazing weekend experience , really great why to enjoy the desert , ride their land rovers around the desert and see the wild life . Part of their pakage to see Falcons and enjoy the sunset , after that we gather feast and drink. A few shows and more to drink and shisha . Really good for the family . The balloon trip and safari were awesome. We had John as our guide for the ballon trip. He picked us up at the hotel and took us through the whole experience. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. He gave his phone to my daughter and let her DJ on the ride back to the hotel. For the safari, we had Sam as our guide. He knew a ton about the desert and the flora and fauna. He took care of us for dinner as well. I highly recommend both trips. Please ask for John or Sam, you won t be disappointed.
Enjoyed an epic birthday desert safari celebration thanks to Platinum Heritage. Our guide for the day, Hajaj, was so entertaining and professional ... driving through the sand dunes in the Landrover and the camelback ride were fun, the falcon show was very educational and the food was so damn good (the lentil soup, grilled oysters and slow-cooked lamb in particular)!
I love my Land Rovers, what a treat to be able to go on a 1952Series 1, and smell the old oil and the sound of the cars. Our guide took time to explain us a out the plants and the animals. Falcon show was cool , food was just WOW. But highlight for me was the Land Rover.

Awesome experience despite being a little sick. Yousef was AMAZING!! He was extremely attentive and catered to me a little bit more because I was ill. Excellent food. I was a little hesitant about being on/around a camel, but they were very clean and appeared to be well taken care of. The night safari is a must if you visit Dubai, you will not be disappointed.
Best Dubai experience & highly recommended! My wife and I booked Heritage Desert Safari tour for our last evening in Dubai during our May 2018 trip. It was a perfect ending to our trip with delicious authentic food & local customs, away from the glamour and lights of the modern city Dubai has became. Our guide - Hosam was very entertaining yet knowledgeable. He made sure we were all taken care of during the entire trip. The ride in vintage Land Rovers across the desert with up close view of gazelles, the falcon show, camel rides, astrology class underneath the stars...and so much more! Excellent desert safari. Very professional. Best tour we took in Dubai. Very nice and funny driver. Punctual pick up. Good driver which i can not say about any other drivers we had with other tours. Price is a little higher but it was so worth it. Dinner in the desert was great. Very authentic! Loved the camel meat they offered besides all the other food. The henna tattoos are absolutely beautiful. I can highly reccomend this safari from beginning to the end.
