We rented the room The Playground for our company workshop, from 9am-10pm.
The team loved the place, especially that the room has full windows to make the place bright and energetic.
Minus one star because when we arrived, the place was not ready, the room was so hot. Good thing we arrived early to check the setup. That's when the AC was turned on, the chairs were arranged, supplies/things were prepared for our use, and made sure that the room is exclusive for us.
But that was all made up because the staff and crew of Penbrothers are helpful and listened to all our requests/instructions. Also initially the coffee was not ready as well. But after giving notice, they made sure it's fresh, cups are ready for use, and always refilled. They are always ready to help and assist us in our needs. :)
Overall we had a great experience. We will have this in mind if we need another workshop/event.
Awesome coworking space with super fast wifi at the heart of the business district. What more can a freelancer/startup guy or gal ask for?
For the first time use, it can be used free of charge for one day.
The meeting room is also used for the reception.
Wi-Fi is fast without any problems, and Skype meetings are easy.
After the second day, it can be used for about 500 pesos, depending on the number of days.
Great working atmosphere with a very diverse community mainly from the international startup scene. With 3 offices, each with a different design and vibe, it is definitely a refreshing place to work at and collaborate with.
Looks like a cool space to work in for freelancers and startups. There are a couple of creatively decored and aptly named cubicles for telecons and brainstorming sessions.
Noisy and poorly managed.
Good chairs, desk, and interior. However the bathroom is pretty filthy and there's roaches in it. Plus you gotta bring you own toilet paper (if you're on the fifth floor).
Internet speeds vary. Sometimes it's blazing fast, other times it's unusably slow. They don't seem to be able to manage it well, so often have to complain to magically get it working faster again. However, that's no good because you spend lots of time unproductively before getting the motivation to complain.
Place is good for trainings, seminars or other corporate events that you might hold. The concern would be internet connectivity which often fluctuates, from having a connection up to no internet access which tends to a problem specially if you really need it for taking exams and other activity.
First impression it looks decent, great job in maintaining clean washrooms, major setback though is that front desk staff talks too loudly when they group together. Maintenance staff are all gracious though. Another major setback is the carpet maintenance its reeking with stain and odor thus there was a couple of months that the entire floor occupants were all coughing. What's surprising was one of the maintenance person was apparently asked by one of their supervisors to mask the odor with Glade, lols.
Great coworking space, friendly staff and most importantly, blazing fast Internet :)
