I have been foolishly spending $120-$180/month on my daughter's medication at the big "W"'s that promise savings. Not only that, anytime I went to these places to fill her script, I'd have to wait at least 2 hours-1 or 2 days to come by & pick up her medication because of the long wait. Always, the so called "professionals" in these places always made me feel like they were DOING ME A FAVOR! I always felt like I was being mistreated and walked out feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer or human being.
My experience with Plantation could not be more opposite!! The longest I have ever had to wait at Plantation Pharmacy was 20 mins the night before Thanksgiving. After I found out that my daughter's medication would only cost me approx. $50/30 day supply, I immediately stopped going to the big "W"'s and gave my business to Plantation Pharmacy. That's it, I'm a life long client from here on out. The best part of all, these people are so professional & so nice it practically makes me blush. I'm not used to people being nice. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being so AWESOME & PLEASE DON'T EVER CHANGE :)

This is hands down the best pharmacy around. It has a small hometown feel. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and very helpful. They don't judge you based on the medication you take. They will work with you on based on your needs.

Friendly and understanding. In the midst of the pandemic craziness, the staff was kind and empathetic to, not only me, but showed great understanding to the customer ahead of me. The type of service that brings back the idea of pharmacies of yesteryear. They seem to care about their customers more than the bottom line. Highly recommend.

Very nice place. 10x more pleasant than Walgreens or CVS. It isn't a convenience store, but for a pharmacy you can't beat it.

This place is a scam. DON"T GO HERE!!!!! They will short you on pills and then lie about it!!!!

Plantation pharmacy has been like family to me for many years but after being run over intentionally 22 months ago by an F150 4 door factory jacked up Monster of a truck when I should have died I did not by a miracle from God! I cannot express in words over the last 22 months what Plantation pharmacy means to me!!! They are 100% true family to me now to say the least! Great experience! Ashley was so accommodating and really went above and beyond to help me deal with my doctor's office and my insurance company. I would highly recommend this pharmacy!

This pharmacy is great! Everyone that works here is so nice and helpful! It's location, next to our pediatrician, is very convenient! They also make great sandwiches and milkshakes!

Save your time and find yourself a pharmacy that cares! Strike #5 IM OUT!!
#1 They MESSED up the DOSAGE for a CANCER patient's daily medication!
#2 They DID NOT LABEL the EXPIRATION DATE for the same CANCER patient(my daughter)!
#3 No ONE CALLED ME BACK when I complained of this serious matter yet again!
#5 The medication is always short!
#4 Do not ever tell me what to do! You are not my friend you are taking my RX refill!!
I paid your over priced prices and put up with your rude service! Not any more!

These people go out of their way to help with prior authorizations etc. geeze navigating the insurance red tape is definitely difficult and they seem to do it very well. On two occasions my insurance has been messed up and they have gone above and beyond to make it right.

Staffed by the nicest group of gals you could ask for. They actually seem to care and take pride in helping their customers and will go out of their way in dealing with insurance claims, other pharmacies, doctor's offices,, etc. I wouldn't recommend another pharmacy in Charleston.

The counter is filled with vintage pill bottles, pharmacist tools and other items from an age where pharmacists knew their customers names and treated them not just as order that needed to be filled. I am not comparing the staff to antiques, but the manner in which they treat their customers is 'vintage' ...

Helped me fill my rx during a hurricane evacuation and they have cute children s toys.

I use the West Ashley location and don't know why I haven't transferred from CVS sooner. I took in a prescription that I needed today and I work close by. I expected to drop it off and pick it up later. They took it and filled it on the spot. CVS takes at least an hour, if not longer. I am amazed. I just transferred all of my presciptions here. Buy local!

I stumped across Plantation Pharmacy several years back when my mother couldn't find medication she desperately needed. From the minute I walked in, everyone had been nothing but kind, helpful, diligent in finding my mother her medication and so caring. I can't imagine using anyone but Plantation Pharmacy. I like the feel of the pharmacies from my childhood, with the soda bar for food and drinks. I highly recommend this as your pharmacy. These people are great at what they do and wonderful to their clients.

If they had 10 stars i would give them all 10!!! These ladies were truly amazing, even when my medical cards werent correct she took the time to call and correct it! This place may be out the way to come get my prescriptobi but I will take the extra 20 mins because they are awesome!!!!

Amazing staff and customer service. Wonderful compounding pharmacy- I have used them for pets and people, they know customer service and go the extra mile.

Switched over to them from CVS. Excellent customer service. Always quic and easy. No long wait times. Nice to support local business anyways!
