I have been there in July 2017. At first, I was supposed to do a few dives and my Advanced certification. I loved the experience with Jean--Pierre (the owner and instructor) so much that I decided to stay for 2 weeks and do my Rescue certification as well.

Best place to dive in Madagascar. I learned to dive in 2019 with Atimoo and since then couldn t stop going on dive trips. Less than a year later, I dived in other parts of Madagascar, in France, and in multiple places in the Philippines. The dive sites at Atimoo are more pristine than all of the others places I ve dived to: even the coral triangle wasn t as good in terms of sightings. Highly recommended for people wanting to avoid the crowds. Can t wait to go back!
