I have been very happy with my representative and with the consistant service that I have received from PlanMember.
Great customer service, helpful and easy to understand.
I was having issues with receiving and printing certain documents. I phoned the Plan Member's service center. A young woman was most
patient and helpful. She is both competent and pleasant. I am an 80
year old woman so I truly appreciated her attitude and support.
I spoke with Ms. Rikki and she was very polite and caring and helped me get just want I needed. Thank you Rikki!!
The representative that I spoke with made it easy for me to follow the steps he outlined. I'm not very computer savvy and I got to all the information I wanted.
PlanMember Financial has exceeded my expectations for a company that handles my retirement account. My advisor, Dave Meckstroth, is always willing to help out when I contact him. He returns my calls/emails promptly. Any time I have called to talk to a representative on the phone, they are very courteous and professional. They answer any questions I have and are very knowledgeable.
I couldn t retrieve my password so I called Planmembee services. They answered the call promptly without much wait time. The customer service representative was helpful and willing to answer my questions about how to navigate through the website with patience. He made me feel comfortable. The process was easy.
After changing jobs, it took MONTHS of persistent proactiveness on my end to get a response allowing me to move forward with my PlanMember account. My emails went ignored for weeks at a time; when I did get a response it was practically: "Figure it out with your new advisor at your new job." I didn't have one.
I decided to switch to a different financial institution, and I am in month 11 of attempting to rollover my funds. It has been 14 months since I've been able to contribute to my account, but I have still been paying monthly service fees that have increased periodically with practically no notice, along with other fees that I did not agree to initially but were later implemented. My understanding is that there is no reason for PlanMember to be requiring what they are requiring, other than to essentially create obstacles for me to pull my funds out.
I have experienced knowledgeable and professional representatives, It was a pleasure and smooth transaction for me, I highly recommend PlanMember.
This company was terrible. They moved money without my permission. They botched almost every single transaction I ever made with them. The people in the call center are helpful, but that doesn t make up for the incompetence. I also understand they just lost a class action lawsuit. They even made it difficult for me to leave after I finally had enough. Good bye, I won t miss you. Returns were also meager.
It s the worst PMS a person can experience....
Sean Carroll was very nice, very professional, and very knowledgeable. Thank you, Sean!
PMS refuses to release my father's inheritance, after 4 months of struggle. They claim not to receive each needed document several times. PMS refused to provide an account statement with numbers they demanded to release the funds. They have claimed for 3 weeks that "the check is in the mail". I suspect PMS is insolvent.
I've been trying to terminate my PlanMember Services 403(b) and transfer to a quality 403(b) account for almost 4 months (since November 2016). PlanMember Services continues to state that I am missing paperwork. Initially (in November 2016), PlanMember Services and my advisor did not send me the proper paperwork to terminate (IAS form) my PlanMember Service 403(b). I attempted to maximize my 403(b) investments in 2016, but my advisor did not file paperwork in a timely manner, nor did my advisor deduct the proper amount of money to invest. Consequently, I lost $6800.00 to invest in 2016. Also, I am still paying advisor fees in 2017 because PlanMember Services will not terminate my 403(b) account and allow the transfer to a different 403(b) account to occur. Therefore, in 2016 and so far in 2017, I figure I have lost approximately $10,000.00 or more of combined my investment money along with money earned on my investments. PlanMember Services is entirely too frustrating.
This company was the retirement provider for my wife's nonprofit organization. I have never seen such an incompetent operation in my life. Their performance was atrocious to say the least. Market is in a huge rally mode this year and they are losing peoples money, all while collecting a huge fee. When we were able to withdraw the funds, they mistakenly paid taxes on qualified assets and admitted it was their fault. Do they quickly correct the situation for us? No, they don't even respond back. If you are a corporation or school considering this company for your retirement benefits you should look elsewhere before giving it another thought.
I am very satisfied with my planmember adviser, Sam Davis.
Called to share my update my account information . The representative was very helpful and efficient. He also took all security measures to ensure that it was me on the line.
Plan Member Service Center was incredibly helpful and answered all my account questions professionally.
The customer service from this company is horrible! I am reminded of the scene in Mary Poppins where the bank won't give you your money. Twice I made transfers from my 403b . Both times they dragged their feet requiring numerous phone calls on my part to get them to do what I asked. I lost about $4000 in market declines while they took almost a month to do each transfer. The worst part is that if they need something, they never call you to ask; they always wait until you call them. I will be filing a complaint with SIPC. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER unless you want lousy service.
I've been well serviced by Troy Dueker for about 20 years. Good company.
