I can not explain all the levels of aweful that can be found here. It is a meat grinder that takes good people and reduces them to sad broken husks just trying to survive. An institution bent on slowly breaking the souls of those that work there.

I would not even give this place one star if possible. I worked for this company for two years as a team lead and needless to say they do not care about their employees or clients. This company takes honest hard working people and breaks them down into shallow husks of workers. They EXPECT you to work ridiculous and unrealistic hours with no guarantees for having a day away from work and if you don t then you re not a team player. They force you to work in unsafe environments with very agressive clientele and provide little to no support with any issues and are very quick to blame anything that goes wrong on the staff. The administration atmosphere in the office is like that of high school and Amy is by far one of the most arrogant, rude, and condescending bigots I have ever had the displeasure of working for. As an owner of the company you would think they would have better demeanor and treat people respectfully. I would NEVER recommend anyone to work for this company, but then again if you like being treated like dirt, over worked, and unappreciated then I guess this would be the place for you.
I have never been worked so hard for so little money! The team leads are terrible at scheduling and my heart health was compromised due to the long shifts with not enough time between to rest. I was fooled into believing because the owners are christian that I would be treated fairly, but it would seem His light is not allowed to shine in this dark place.
Don't work here, having worked in the office I saw how they diminish the value of their staff, the sick politics and games, favoritism, and bigotry among the adminstration.
I've worked here for over five years so far, most of which I've been a team lead. We do have periods of low staffing, which means there will be more hours available for currently employed staff. This can lead to long hours and not a lot of days off, but it's just part of the industry. If you like overtime, this is a fantastic job! The agency throws lots of get togethers and parties and events for clients and staff.
As a team lead I strive to have our schedule the same for each staff week to week, unless there is a special circumstance for anyone. Then I do my best to work around the needs of my staff and client(s). As long as the team you are on has half-way decent leadership and has staff that is willing to support other staff, the job is great. Unfortunately, one bad staff can really make the entire experience unpleasant for everyone else on the team.
At this company we work in private residences and in teams of typically 2-5 staff per house, supporting 1-4 developmentally disabled adult clients. Scheduling is largely up to the team lead, with the guidelines based on which staff are fulltime, which are part time, and which staff have other responsibilities they may need to tend to (college, children).
An applicant would need at least: a high school diploma or equivalent, no felonies, a reliable car, and car insurance. The majority of training is provided in-house by the agency and you are paid for it. You will need to be certified for CPR/First Aid and Nurse Delegation (you will be reimbursed for this one).
