The staff are incredibly friendly and the pizza is excellent. They use high quality ingredients and a wood-fire oven. I've tried the Parma ham and Dr Johnny, and loved them both.
I usually get takeaway but the restaurant inside is really nice too.

Very nice interior and train tables loved the illy coffee and mini ice-cream it came with and they serve a great local coffee brew called Crude my wife had which was lovely. Pizza authentic and tasted like true Italian pizza I had when working in Italy.
Very overpriced for what is was. My pizza came about 12 minutes before my partners so we effectively ate alone. My pizza was missing the basil and my partners had raw egg. They were busy, but overall disappointing.
Vegan and Vegetarian Options Upon delivery by Deliveroo, I had a vegan pizza option tomato base topped with cucumber, aubergine, bell peppers with vegan cheese. I remember Charlie s had really nice pizza crusts when I was in Cambridge around 2014. However, the pizza wasn t as good I remembered (even when delivered). The crust was almost soggy (might be because of the vegan cheese which is more wet?) but still acceptable. The topping were very lacking for the price. Not a fan of the vegan cheese they have either. Sure, the texture clearly is not close to normal cheese, but the taste of the vegan cheese it tasted sweet, similar to thousand island dressing which didn t work with the pizza. Hopefully this was a one-off as their pizza were really good back in 2014.
I'd recommend getting a cappuccino as they come with a miniature ice cream! Last time we were given what we think was toffee and it was absolutely delicious, but it changes everytime! Now the weather is getting nicer we will definitely be buying a full sized ice cream soon.
The pizzas are also very nice and freshly made in front of you.
The decor is eclectic and fun. They have a big display in the front window which changes very regularly. Sometimes there's a giant pirate boat, sometimes it's Santa's sleigh. How they change it over I don't know, but kids always love playing on it and I love seeing what's going to be there each time we visit.
But by far my favourite thing is the miniature railway table! You can play with trains whilst drinking your coffee!
All in all, a delightful place to visit with a fun, eclectic atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food and drink!
The pizza was absolutely delicious but, there were 3 inches missing from it when it arrived. This was advertised as a 16" pizza and the price reflected that as well. I hope this isn't corner cutting for takeaways....
Nice little pizza place. Stone baked pizza was tasty, if a little oily, and the garden pizza was good. The cheese pasta left a little to be desired though as it was kind of lifeless.
