The only thing stopping this place from getting a 5star is the 'salad bar' more like 'condiments bar' had everything but salad for a while until employees took notice.. only one bowl of salad... but! Other than that the pizza was really good, looking at other peoples pizza only made me want mine even more. Will be back, but not for the condiment bar. Meant salad bar.

Our family is from Austin and Seattle, and we were all visiting Portland for a few days. We decided that a local pizza place would be perfect for a crowd-pleasing, easy dinner. Pizza Caboose sounded like a fun option, so we stopped by. Everything was delicious! We ordered 2 pizzas and the salad bar, and we were so impressed with the texture of the crust, the freshness of the toppings and salad choices, and the friendly, welcoming staff. Oh, and the Ranch dressing! I don't even like Ranch, but I was pouring it on EVERYTHING - it was SO GOOD! If we do make it back out to the Portland area, we will DEFINITELY stop at Pizza Caboose. Please go and have a slice (or 3!) for me!

I've been going to the Pizza Caboose since the 1970s. The same family still owns it (and the Tigard Bowl nextdoor). With an actual caboose in the restaurant, working model trains and the original Tigard station train sign, the place is unique. The pizza is excellent. The salad bar is a favorite along with a good selection of beer. A great family owned and operated business to support.

My first visit was last week with my six year old, predominantly chosen for being the closest place open near the Tigard Cinema. The tastes very similar to what I remember Pizza Hut tasting like in the 90's, a little greasy, but that deep-dish almost pastry-like crust. Bonus points for the train running around the restaurant near the ceiling and the big train steam funnel in the middle, I wished the train under the center table was operational. Obviously, great for the little train enthusiast in your life.

There s nothing special about the pizza. Wasn t super impressed. No better than dominos. Cheesy bread left much to be desired. Tasted like a store bought loaf of bread cut in half and covered in melted cheese. I was hopeful for more but sorely disappointed.

Great pizza, not to much sauce, not to much crust. Seems to be a 'hole in the wall' place, based on location alone. Amazing service, may not have been super smiley, but smiles aren't what makes a service great. I thank the afternoon/early evening staff for making this trip a good one. Great pizza, 5/5 recommend.

Had a large group paying three separate bills. We took a long time to decide what to order and to pay. The staff were patient with us and friendly. There were several young children in our group who weren't exactly quiet and the employees still made it a pleasant experience. The pizza was delicious and we had leftovers warmed up in the oven the night and it was still delicious. Will definitely be going back soon and traveling to eat there from Hillsboro.

Decent pizza, a little overpriced. Quick service, but the interior is creepy it needs a deep deep cleaning and possibly a remodel, the theme is adorable but the table, benches, light fixtures ect. Need updating maybe it was supposed to be dim but I think it us possibly because of dirt build up. Food decent but get to go the interior is creepy!

Just a great pizza place that has been around for a really long time. They have an excellent salad bar as well as a huge selection of all different kinds of pizza. Tons of toppings to choose from and the crust is delicious. It always is just a treat when my friends want to take their kids there and I get to go too. Just a wonderful place to get lunch or dinner with friends and family.

They have great pizza, and they have a caboose you can eat inside of. They also have 2 or 3 old Pac man arcade machines. And we can't forget the model train set that goes in a loop around the main room. It's also a locally owned and run company. Great for all ages, but especially good for train enthusiasts.

Owner is very rude and closed-minded. I was desperate for a job. I was laid off with a family. I had great delivery experience with Papa John's and Fedex. He never even gave me a chance, cut me off on the phone and called me a Prima Donna for having worked at Papa John's. I'm the complete opposite; hardworking, team player with great customer service. But hey maybe his pizza is good, ha. Awful experience. Maybe someday I can be worthy enough to work at the Pizza Caboose, ha.

Love their pizza!! When we moved from our condo in Tigard to a house in King City I was so relieved to see that we were still in their delivery radius! Our whole family loves their pizza and the potato spikes... and I don't know what you make your house ranch dressing with?! But it is the best ranch we've ever had and always order extras so each person gets their own dipping cup.

Always love going to this favorite family Pizza spot. Being enjoying it almost 20 years now. Very consistent with its quality service and food. The best pizza in town and the spikes are addictive.

Brought in a group of 11 people. They made our 5 pizzas quickly, and the food was good. We sat around the fire, which was nice. I do wish they'd run the trains up on the shelf or down inside the round table, cause the kids kept asking. I remember those running when I was a little b kid... Overall a good experience.

Independently owned, hometown feel, delicious pizza, fun decor. Great crust, heavy on cheese, light on sauce. Good toppings but not highest premium ingredients (e.g. canned chopped pineapple). One of my favorite places to get pizza.

Don t sleep on Pizza Caboose!! Their pizzas are always delicious and they use high quality ingredients. I m sad that I don t live down the street anymore. Also my 4 year old (one of the pickiest eaters I know) loves their pizza! She usually wants us to remove all the toppings but not when we get pizza here - she will eat an entire slice. Give them a try!

No no no no no. Is every oregon pizza place horrible? I have visited multiple pizza places here in the state of oregon hoping to find a good local slice. Still havent found what I'm looking for....lol. stick to dominos or chain restaurants for a semi decent pizza. Good lord i come from Texas and the pizza there is pretty good especially if you go to Brothers Pizza. But i think oregonians have been deprived of such pizza to the point they'll settle for pizza caboose. Jeez, also pizza schmizza...where you can get a pile of dough and toppings which you can't even taste. And people love it! Have never tasted the worst food but if that's your thing just come to oregon.

My first time ordering from Pizza Caboose. Sadly, it will be my last. The toppings were fine...cheese and sauce were good, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, and mushrooms also good. But the crust is awful and was totally soggy. I called to let them know and was told "I find that hard to believe because I've only heard that once or twice." Maybe the onions and mushrooms made it soggy, I don't know. I just feel it was not worth $20.54 plus tip. And really wish I was offered a coupon for another try.
