Would NOT recommend for the following reasons...
I was able to use the aerobics room when I signed up. However, out of nowhere, they changed these policies without informing anyone, saying that you must have a personal trainer in the room with you to go in there.
The gym was under renovation TWICE within 4 months. The gym was unavailable for a whole week without any discount on the membership fee. The staff are very uptight & rude, which does not create a good atmosphere for the members. I was also told I had EIGHT complimentary guest passes for the entire year. When I tried to use them, they told me that I have to pay $10 before I allow my guest in. The staff need to get on the same page here because clearly, they're not. The staff would come up to the gym before closing time & kick everyone out before 9PM (their closing time). Never had to use the daycare service, but if you are, keep in mind that ALL of the reviews I've read about this place were TERRIBLE in regards to the daycare service.

Overly crowded, membership is so expensive for them to constantly remove equipment from the gym, and parking is a dollar an hour.

the Y was paid 4000$ by 20 teams mens summer basketball league 200$ a piece, they collected 660$ a week over min11 games a week times 15 weeks 9,900$. the y has not finished the league but took our money. I have been told to shut up by program director brandon. he ran this league so poorly, he made a playoff bracket that produced a 3 team semi final which they didn't know what to do. so they gave a bye to the final to miles for micheal ran by bill burke a pittston ymca board members. they have people running the league and ymca and playing on teams that get complete favoritism. they collected 15,000$ and never finished the league. the ceo leslie widdick found this to be completely fine and said brandon does a great job. so great the league didn't finish, a assault happened with kids in the gym and no police called or a correct playoff bracket made. when i complained she told me if you don't like how we do things why do you sign up. during this league a player was assaulted in the gym and laid on the floor for 30 seconds. no police or ambulance was called. she seemed to have no problems with liability on the ymca with not calling police. note my 3 yr old son was in the gym and this place is not safe for children. when i mentioned how the state took their license to watch children a few years ago she laughed and made a joke about it like it was not serious kids were left on buses. our complaints were basically laughed at told they know more than myself or my team which includes 4 people or are head coaches or assistant coaches for schools from 9th grade to college and people who have played over seas for money and in the nba developmental league.

Love this place , always a great help (the staff). My family also like the atmosphere, there childcare is awesome too my two younger children attend there before / aftercare & are with a great individual in a clean & playful environment, my kids also come home daily with things they learned from this YMCA , the staff is a great well put together team , they are well respectful & are sure to accommodate anything you might have questions about. I joined about 2 months ago & have since recommended many of my close family and friends.

Our 6 year old daughter began the summer being scared to swim without her puddle jumper and in one session of swim lessons at the YMCA she got over that fear and is now wanting to work towards joining a swim team! As a former lifeguard, swim coach and swimming lesson instructor I can truly say that the YMCA's swim lesson program is amazing and worth every penny! Thank you for helping our daughter learn this life saving skill!

Hands down the best gym I belonged to. Wish the YMCA down here could compare

You can't even get people to answer the phone. Very poorly run.
