The ticketing experience has been very strange indeed. I never received the confirming email that I was told I would receive when I made the original order by telephone. I called and requested the email but when it arrived most of the information on it was incorrect. I had to call and have it corrected. Then I never received the tickets. When I called about that, the agent told me the tickets are likely lost in the mail and that happens all the time. A supervisor was to have called me to clarify that the original tickets have been voided. I want to be assured of that since I am giving these tickets as a gift to three people, and I don t want them to arrive at the theater only to find that their seats have been taken by others! I am not condfident the original tickets will be voided because so far the ticketing process has been so messy. Well I was never called by a supervisor. That s been three days now. So I called again and got another agent. This agent was not surprised at all to hear about my not receiving the tickets because she said tickets get lost in the mail...that happens all the time. I would think the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust would want to investigate why the tickets they mail get lost, and it happens all the time. I take that to mean frequently as opposed to all the time. But don t they care to know why? Isn t it an expense to reprint and pay postage a second time? The entire telephone ticketing process wasn t at all what I expected from this organization. I hope the reprinted tickets arrive. Eventually. And the originals are voided by now. They have no way to verify that they have in fact done that. Strange
