Owner is literally the worst person I've ever met, he came out from behind the counter and aggressively forced me to leave because I had an unopened container of dim sims from down the street while my friend ordered chips. You couldn't pay me to go back to this dive, unless it was to roll the prick.

The cakes taste great particularly the lemon and the zabaglione. Unfortunately the prices are not listed clearly for hardly anything. $9.50 for a slice of cake is OK if you know that's what you will be paying. The mug flat white is perfect for a caffeine hit but taste wise not so great. Meat pastries tasted fine but didn't really deserve a gourmet title.

The food at the counter looked good, but what we received was dreadful and not what we ordered. On top of that, the belligerent barista decided he would make the coffee when it suited him, regardless that we kept telling him we only had half hour for lunch. In the end we didn't get the coffee or a refund - never again!!!

Disgusting service. Just rude. We walked out before we ordered. We are a family of 6 and we were looking for lunch late in the afternoon. Hot and bothered, my husband stayed in the car while I went to the cafe to check out if the food was family friendly. When I asked for the menu the staff grunted towards the take away menu. I asked if we could eat the take away food in the menu and was told yes. I went back to the car and unpacked 4 kids including a sleeping baby. We then set up at a table outside. Then we were told that the take away menu wasn't available. Only the food in the display cabinet. So we then chose from the display cabinet. I then stood at the counter waiting to be served. I was ignored by 2 staff members standing behind the counter. When I inquired if I could order I was then chastised for standing at the wrong spot. I then asked for a "salami roll", only to be told that they don't have any, when I ventured over and pointed to the salami sandwich I was again chastised. "It's a focaccia!"
By then my husband had had enough. He said lets go. I should have left after being told the menu wasn't available after we were told it was. The man behind the counter held nothing but contempt for us since we walked through the door. So we left and went to Paulies Corner and received lovely service and food.
