I worked at PTP for 3 years and its a great company. The company itself was good to me but it was the manager that I worked under that kept up drama that caused me to leave. Overall I learned a lot while working there and wouldn't change a thing.
Very slow metal recieving, every time I deliver here it's at least an hour and half or more. It's very dangerous because the trucks waiting to be unloaded have to park in the road with flashers on and hope somebody doesn't rear end the trailer.
THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE TO WORK FOR! Managers and the safety office will harass new employees. You work 6 days a week and are purposely underpaid so if you are looking for a decent check, you won t find it here. If you work in the shop area and not an office employee, you will SLAVE over a year just to earn benefits and even then the company will try to screw you out of them. If you want to make $10 an hr and never receive a pay raise, then this job is for you. I would give zero stars if I could. Mcdonalds is probably a better work environment than this
My boyfriend worked there for 3 years everytime he try to use his paid time off they say he dont have any but the moment he say he quit they oh you still got paid time off would you like to use it really then they promised him a raise after the 1st year and after 2 years on waiting for that raise he left. Job not worth it to work 6 days a week and dont really bring nothing home from this job

Made a pick up here today I was in and out less than 10 minutes this is like a drive-thru pick up
Great place to work and gain experience if you don't have any yet and also a driven envoirment if you do . For the most part the plant manager, supervisors, leads and safety personell are all fair and understanding.

They offer full time employment and always keep me working. and there's always other opportunities.
Management sucks. Restrooms always clogged up. President his fam and VP are too stubborn and always want the company to have it thier way. The workers are always at fault. I got fired for having a paid day off (very stupid) no chance to move up in life ($$$) unless you bend over for them. Instead of raises they give you $10-$50 gift card to a restraunt. Engineers dont know what they are doing then again management itself is too confused on what they do and what rules to set on. Cool thing is the workers themselves very great people to work with.
Management is allowed to lie and try to bully employees without consequences. No kind of pay raises. You're expected to use bad and often broken equipment. The plant manager is constantly trying to take away hours instead of giving overtime, but they want more production. And there are cameras in most booths watching you constantly. Bad place to work all around.
Can not get no pay raise for a hole yr for herd work on time and for weld tig and stainless steel can not get a bit of gratitude for your work and that's not what no one wants
I love the people and the way they train you. I worked there for 2 years and enjoyed the company. They show that if you work hard and be productive you can advance. Safety is a priority! Great Company. Thank you Piping Tech for the awesome time!

The product is not good, lots of undocumented immigrants working there with poor work experience.
