The leader of this Church - Rev. Brovold - is unfit to run their adjacent school. Staff there act like self-righteous hypocrites, set in their ways, and respond to criticism by kicking out your kid. Teachers bad-mouth kids in front of parents, and their homework room doesn't do its job. This place makes mockery of Christian ethics. Rev. Brovold - as the leader - is responsible for the cynical culture at the school. She should go, and take this school's incompetent management with her.

Six-year-old expelled for allegedly using the word...

Six-year-old expelled for allegedly using the word "gay". On Friday, Sept 28, 2018, Rev. Bovold (Pinecrest Presbyterian) expelled my six-year-old son from school for allegedly using the word gay , without due process or appeal, with immediate effect. My six-year-old son doesn t even know what that word means, let alone understand the sensitivities surrounding it. Rev. Bovold called me belligerent and barred me from visiting the church, because I spoke up for my son and about the deeply rooted problems at their school. This episode makes a mockery of Christian values.
