Really great place! Lovely cafe and all vegetarian menu. Vegan and Gluten-free options. Local produce in shop. We came on a Sunday around 2pm and it was incredibly busy! This can be a little bit of a put-off.

Nice site. Simple facilities but very good. Great cafe and shop. Wonderful location. Only down side was that the walk from far pitches was along a road. It was quite but I wouldn't want my young children nipping to the toilet block by themselves.

A hidden gem in Falkland. Heard about this place from friends and had to try it out. We had an amazing lunch at the cafe, which is reasonably priced. It was busy, but we had no problem getting a table, and the staff were great. There is a lively farm shop selling organic food which I could have spent a fortune in as everything looked so tasty. This Is all set in a lively area where you could go for a lovely walk and I believe there is a camping site also. Highly recommended this place.

Always nice to go to the Pillars of Hercules. Food is great and perfect for an extended family with various allergies.

Staff are friendly and you know the food is going to be good.

Seems quite family friendly.

Only negative is that the Pillars aren't that tall ;-)

Simply one of the best eateries in the region. Slightly more expensive than its competitors, but it delivers extraordinary food and beverages. All organic, all carefully sourced, a genuine worry-free indulgence.
Our first choice for lunch or coffee in Fife.

rustic cafe and wholefood shop with good vegetarian options. Proper espresso coffee - this alone makes Pillars of Hercules unique outside of the bigger towns. We love it and can't recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic cafe, farm shop and camp site, slightly off the beaten track near Falkland. Great range of produce and mainly veggie products. Always popular and dogs welcome in outside covered seating.

We rented the bothy for a few nights. It was lovely. Equipped with everything you could need. Wonderful and cosy.
The farm shop is well stocked and the cafe staff were so friendly and helpful even though we arrived at a peak time and they were rushed off their feet. Great options for gluten free and milk alternatives if you require such things. They said there was a wait on hot drinks as they had a backlog but to be honest they were great. I've been served much slower in places that are empty.

Great hub for some breakfast, nice walks then back for a coffee. Definitely be back.

Blankets provided at the outside tables is a lovely touch.

Cleaning stations were at good locations when entering and exiting the shop/takeaway area. Staff were welcoming and chatty, which is always nice! Felt safe with their cleaning & social distancing precautions.

Good little cafe, dog friendly and nice friendly feeling. However, it only serves vegetarian food only, so be aware of this! For someone who is on the opposite side of the food spectrum, I wouldn't choose to come back here for food on that alone. Coffee and cake wouldn't be an issue for me though!

We loved this place. Campsite was great and it makes such a difference being able to have a fire on your pitch. Shop has everything you need to make a delicious meal and the kids enjoyed the park and handing out in the Orchard. 5 star form us. Thanks

It's a cafe come restaurant come farm shop. We only stopped for a coffee and shared a bit of shortbread. We looked at the menu and there seemed to be a good selection it's a full vegetarian menu so perhaps not for the confirmed carnivore. That said I would have been happy to try if we had the time, however I thought the prices were a bit on the high side for what you were getting. The shop was well stocked with lots of healthy food stuff and even managed to squeeze in some meat in a fridge in the corner.

A cracking wee place. Lots of parking, lovely and leafy and green, surrounded by trees and lots of natural wood built into the place. It has a well stocked produce shop selling the victuals from its parent farm, and serving them up too in the cafe. It was very busy for lunch, a queue of ten or twelve people waiting to order at the till, but despite the wait the food was very quick in coming out, well proportioned and tasty. Cute and quaint and I'll easily recommend it to others.

Excellent food and service in a beautiful location at the foot of Falkland Hill. Ideal for those looking for a healthy option and their farm shop has all the organic produce you would want. Pillars of Hercules keeps going from strength to strength (no pun intended)

Lovely place lovely staff just some questionable layout decisions for example where cafe till is and counter service should not be mandotory. Due to long wait times to order several guests left. Money walked right out of the door and no one blinked twice. Wrong coffee order was written for staff to deliver correct order. Was charged properly just had to fix order. Poor managerial decisions throughout other than that well worth a visit. Oh and this is a vegetarian/vegan cafe. WHY OH WHY ARE YOU SELLING ANIMAL FLESH IN SHOP FRIDGE??? That needs to be stopped sooner rather than later. Wonderful chef Fiona cooked a beautiful meal kudos.
