Lovely Pieroth experience with Graham Barrie. I've read the negative reviews and have to say I have no complaints. It did take a little while to set it all up via their Admin but once Graham contacted me, all went well.
Rory came to the house, and showed us enormous kindness and generosity. He was very keen that the customer experience is very personalised, and the quality of his wines was excellent.
Had a great night with mum and sisters, our host was Jason and he was great. Lots of wine tasters and no pressure selling.... we did place an order and just 6 days later on sat here drinking it while writing this review. My only complaint is the fact you have to pay shipping fees!!
I filled in a Pieroth market research questionnaire I had found in a magazine, and posted it back. They had promised that as a thank you gift, I would receive a cheese knife set and a sample of 6 wines. A couple of months later, not having heard from them, I emailed them from their website, and received only a generic acknowledgement. Two weeks later, I tried phoning them, but they are not picking up the phone. My advice: don't touch these people with a barge pole.
Had a wine tasting for 2 people today, good fun, lots of lovely wines. Paul fullwood came round and it took just over an hour, tasted about 10 or 11 wines and purchased some. Had a really good time! Stephen Milne.

HORRIBLE experience. Purchased wine tasting through an auction. Was told they don't do home tasting at the moment. I asked to just deliver wine without holding an event - was told they can't do it. When I asked for my money back - was refused a refund. I paid for the wine that I can not get. PLEASE BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Been trying to book home tasting for several weeks. Filled in their online form several times but no response what so ever.
Had a really good tasting experience with Rory, who was extremely knowledgable and interesting. Was looking forward to receiving my order within 3/5 days as advised, but we're now at day 15 and I'm still waiting. No explanation for the delay, no phone call, no text, no email, nothing! The tasting experience was 5 star but the poor customer service undoubtedly deserves much less.
Ended up with items we havn't ordered on the order ? Had a wine tasting with Adrian - whilst this didn't go as planned - I can confirm that our overorder has been promptly rectifed by samantha in the customer service team - so faith has been restored - and thank you, very much apreciated.
Bill was great this evening with 11 really nice wines and a few extra tipples thrown in. No need for any hard sell after our tasting as we were more than happy to buy some of the nicer wines. Have already booked another tasting for next month.

Pushy company who just don't take no for an answer. Had previously purchased some wine through a company that they took over and then found a delivery arrived which I hadn't ordered. Despite trying to organise on a number of occasions for the delivery to be sent back I then received threatening letters regarding payment for this wine! Have asked to be removed from their communication list on several occasions now but still getting bothered. Avoid....their wine isn't that good anyway!
Delicious and excellent quality wines. We had a wine tasting at home and ordered two cases. They allowed to match 3 of each of the 4 wines we selected, as we were two couples. Now they have a world cup special offer and we can choose the same order or mix and match with different types. I am not a wine expert but my husband is and we both love Pieroth.
I have had a wine tasting with pieroth and I would recommend them to anyone. I know a lot of people who have had a wine tasting with pieroth and have all said to me how much they have enjoyed themselves and would do it again. I have even recommended pieroth to local social clubs for lady's nights and other charity events. Anyone that talks to me and says they like wine I then ask if they have heard of pieroth. I have been told by my friends that have had this experience that they get free home wine tastings three times a year. I never drank wine until I tasted the pieroth blue bottle and have now discovered I can drink wine instead of beer and good wine with no headaches. I would recommend pieroth to everyone and anybody great company concept tasting wines at home.

Not a great experience so far. When I purchased the voucher at a Wedding Fayre I was told that I would not have to pay until I redeemed the voucher. I then had the money taken from my bank (before I redeemed the voucher) which took me into my overdraft and I incurred bank charges from my bank. I have since been trying to redeem my voucher and have had no response to my emails and cannot get through on the phone!
I have been trying for nearly 3 weeks to book a tasting. It is a Christmas present so would like to get a date in the diary. No response to emails, booking forms or telephone. Will have to get my money back from the credit card, what a nuisance :(

Booked a wine tasting for an hour ago and so far nothing.. no call & no way to contact an office. Pretty much going have to make a dash to a local wine shop as have obviously gathered the attendees & the advised snacks. Unprofessional & unreliable.

My wife bought booked me a wine tasting evening for a surprise birthday present. Despite it being booked several months before my birthday at the very last minute they cancelled saying the date had been double booked. Extremely disappointed with this company and would never book them again. It has left us in an embarrassing situation with guests coming and no wine tasting.
Bought voucher for home wine tasting experience (6 people), plus additional voucher for friends. Arranged date and time for the 6 person wine tasting session, but not had any response or confirmation. Unable to get through to anyone. Calls are answered and then transferred to another number which always goes to voicemail, asking to leave contact details and they will be in touch. After 3 times in as many days, no one has been in touch. This company is a scam! Avoid, and don't make the same mistake as me!

'Naughty Mary' entered our lives a few years ago and introduced us to the joys of Pieroth wine. Her knowledge of the wines is encyclopedic and her patience with us 'newbies' was boundless. Over the years we have all become a bit more knowledgable and have a better understanding of our tastes. Mary also lets us know when our favourite wines are on offer and if a new wine has arrived which she thinks we will enjoy. She has never been wrong. I also loved the Pieroth gin aptly named Mary. Pieroth as a company are a pleasure to deal with especially Mary!
They conducted a free wine tasting at a festival in Bath. We ordered quite a few bottles for home delivery, thought the bill seemed rather steep. When they turned up and we could do the research turns out they are charging double what the wine is worth. I think this is exploiting a situation where it is difficult to check the price - lesson learned. Avoid unless you like being ripped off.

Received a tasting gift for my birthday. Redeemed and waited for a call back which did take several days, however once they got in touch we booked a date and time with relative ease. Our rep arrived on time, was friendly and spent an hour teaching us about how to taste and leading us through a range of wines from all corners of the world. There was the inevitable sales pitch but as they has some good and different wines we ordered three half cases and our friends bought two. Delivery took another week but we are now tucking in. The wines aren't cheap but taste even better now than in the tasting as we aren't mixing tastes. Looking forward to trying new wines next time.
Rude and aggressive selling at the South Glostershire show. Cornering, pressuring and almost bullying customers into buying cases of wine. Very unpleasant experience and will be avoiding in the future. ...Just read your response. Huge apologies if you are not the wine sellers I experienced.

Can't get in touch with these people, when you ring its always an answerphone telling you their mail box is full. I was given a voucher for a wine tasting and understand there is an expiry date. Is this a scam?
Absolute scam. The first thing the host Adrian said to my wife was that she must be bad in bed because her hands were cold! Then he told one of our guests, who is a black lady, that he could never get as tanned as her. Although the wine at the tasting was nice, and I used to work in the wine trade, the wine that arrived as our order has been disappointing. The first bottle was CORKED! The wine is really expensive, but the service is horrible. I have complained, and sent pictures to them. I ve asked for compensation. Like all bad companies, customer service is rubbish. AVOID. When we see their pitch at Hampton Court next, I m am going to be extremely vocal about their conduct and product.

I have been with Pieroth (via a merger) for over 24 years and Alex who covers Brighton has been with me all this time and is an amazing rep, who I would count as a friend, from my first fumblings in wine, where I thought I was buying just one bottle of each of my choices to now being a more mature taster with a defined pallet. I thank Alex for this knowledge and experience. Tonight she delivered Baron Edmond de Rothschild 2014 first edition wine, It has to be laid few years till it s ready to drink and I cannot wait. I can not recommend the company highly enough if you are venturing into or really love your wines, they are unique and have tastes to suit everyone s pallet.
I have had nothing but trouble from Pieroth since I placed one order with them several years ago. They regularly call despite me asking them not to, each time it's a different salesman but that are all very pushy and rude. I have tried contacting their head office but not heard anything back. These are very unprofessional people, I would recommend you do not ever have anything to do with them or their sales people, and pray they never get hold of your phone number, as once they do they will hound you forever more.
Wine tasting: The worse Customer Service ever. I redeemed my voucher in April (5 month ago!), after 20+ phone calls and many many emails, I still didn't hear from them. Unacceptable!
Fantastic evening with Kelly who was down to earth and knowledgable with the range of wines which all tasted great, may not be a taste for everyone but it was the experience that mattered more and it was all 10/10
