If I could give this less than one star I would be...
If I could give this less than one star I would because they don't even deserve that. I walked into their shop tonight with my husband, best friend and another friend, approximately around 9:30-10:00pm. Prior to arriving, we called to make sure they were open and check on a couple things we had questions about. Reviews, from recently, look to be mostly all good. Pictures show a nice, presentable, clean shop. I was eager to get my septum pierced so on we went. Upon arrival, we walked to the door and it was very dark. Entered, and a lady was sitting in her chair with her back to the door, and turns around and says rudely, "Can I help you" and before I could even add anything, she came again and said "Don't let the cat out"..... ok... So i tell her I want to get my septum pierced and she said okay and asked to see my ID. Being in South Carolina and being that I have many piercings and tattoos, and being that I am aware that I am younger so she obviously needs to check, I don't mind. I hand her my ID, she checks it, says okay, makes a copy and gives me my ID back.... Goes to the back to tell whoever was back there and then proceeds to come to the front again and tell me that "yeah he isn't going to do it"????? No explanation, just said "yeah, sorry" and didn't seem to give a damn. So I proceed to try to ask why to see if she will give me any reason as to why I got told it could be done and then something changed and she just would not give me an answer. So we left, and I got it done elsewhere by someone much nicer.... beside that point, I am just confused as to why the switch and why people who are business owners would expect money to be coming through their doors when their customer service and ways of talking to people are not very nice and/or professional. Just confusing and I was very appalled at the fact that it had just happened. If it was because it was too late, the store hours were listed that the shop was open until midnight. It just all seemed very confusing and I feel as if, if there was a problem, it could have been addressed better. After this incident, coming home and thinking about what had happened, I decided to read some reviews and many of the responses, from the "owner", don't seem to come off any different than how they came off to us in person in their shop tonight.
