Makes the most basic interactions as complicated as possible. There is almost no value is using this agency...we've tried for 5 years to overlook the negatives but the travel agents from Pied Piper go on each cruises and act like they expect to be treated as royalty. They use up all the group booking perks for themselves, you'll end up paying the same retail rate as everyone else and wont be able to speak with the cruise line directly about anything. Then if you need to reach them, they have NO PHONE...they ONLY reposed to email/ You'll feel like a 3rd class traveler dealing with them no matter how much you send. There are other better group travel services. Just booking directly wit the cruise line, parties of 10 get the same perks and discounts - and you get to use them for your group.
This is literally the worst travel agency to work with. I myself am a travel agent and we typically partner with tons of agencies to provide the most and best options to our clients and they literally won't do anything over the phone unless you are booking a new cruise, no email notifications about final payments, and no connectivity. You cannot view your reservation or get any reservation information without leaving a message and waiting days for a callback that may not come. The most ridiculous experience I've ever had.
STAY AWAY! They take your money before allowing you to choose a cabin, and then charge a $75 cancellation fee when you don't want the cabin!
Been on several Pied Piper cruises and always had an enjoyable time. Unlike other gay cruises, which are full-ship charters, Pied Piper charters only a portion of the cabins, so the shipboard crowd is mixed. I prefer this because I see no reason to live in a gay ghetto, nor travel in one. Never had a bad experience. Pied Piper staff are particularly nice on board.
