5 mins to do shopping and 20 minutes to get through cashiers. not enough tills open at any time. poor

Pretty much everything you need. Parking is well-managed, but always a mission.

My husband and I are from the southern suburbs and usually shop at the Constantia Village and the Steenberg Pick n Pay but yesterday we were at the Waterfront so decided to support your branch. Much to our embarrassment the alarm went off as we left the store and we felt like thieves!! For some reason the Jacobs Kronin coffee set it off. We were so angry, Had your security found something in our packets different story but we are not thieves!

Two staff members not wearing masks, customers walking around the store with no masks and nothing was done about it

Its absurd that most of the food I bought from you on the 1st of May went off by the 6th of May? I had stale wraps out of an unsealed bag, 1 out of the 12 avos were edible and I have kept squash for months and months and the only reaction they get is yellow skin yet your 1 week from purchase of squash went mouldy and caved in? Disappointed, you are situated at the V&A Waterfront so your food quality is expected to be better than the other Pick and Pays.

Very nice store very big in the Waterfront many different types of food Bakery cold meats large selection of cooked food large selection of cheeses coffee cleaning materials basically everything you need in a supermarket nice and spacious even so nice pastries and take away coffee at a reasonable price good store

Large PNP store that is always well stocked with goods and items.

A very practical supermarket where you can find almost everything. Good choice of prepared meals, salads and wine.

Well sized supermarket catering for tourists an middle to higher income groups. Great stock levels and produce at reasonable prices

A very tidy medium sized hypermarket that had a lot of different selections. Came here to get some goodies for friends back home. Always find it very interesting to see the differing brands and alternatives you have in other countries. South Africa didn't disappoint with some quite interestingly named products. Bought a good few to sample them

Absolutely shocking service. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Bought a banana loaf and a madira loaf. NEVER ever again. It was the worst, dry and no taste. So dissatisfied and disappointed that i wasted money.

Crowded and kinda cramped feeling. Not a cheap place to shop but good enough if you're in the area. Queues can be out of hand depending on the time of day.

When entering your shop, I am greeted by a disgusting smell of rotting fish...not a good experience at all. It is not the first time as well...From previous experience. I have a negative feeling, just thinking of going there. Come on Pick & Pay, this is not good enough...

The best, no doubt about this.if you want to shop do it there.

Always short on Helmans! Mens clothing is always a mess! Never enough tellers!

This store is well laid out, well organized, large isles, a great selection of produce and the store is easy to navigate. The only downside is that the ques took a bit long.

There is always a massive queue due to a lack of cashiers. Second worst pnp there is.

Big store with all the things you need. Great staff. Could've been a little cleaner

You will find everything you need here. Very big supermarket.

Had one item stood for 25 minutes in the express queue.

Worst Pick & Pay in Cape Town. It is a busy store with regular customers doing grocery shopping plus Waterfront staff buying lunch etc. There are 40 or so tills and never have more than five open. People get fustrated and push in from the sides not to mention Pick & Pay staff that just walk up to tills and push in in front of other customers. I absolutely hate shopping there and try to avoid it if at all possible, rather go to Woolworths which although a smaller store always has more than enough tills open.

Good for affordable grocery shopping inside the V&A Waterfront.

This is a grocery store and not clothing. I liked my experience. Most def my new favourite place to shop on a early Saturday morning.

Understaffed, dirty, filthy shopping carts, poorly stocked, only a handful of tills open to handle hundreds of customers. I never leave the store with everything I need so I wonder why I didn t just go straight to Sea Point Spar...

There was only 3 cashier's and the line was very long. I left and Walk out.

Surprisingly second rate given the location and size. Rather go to Gardens Centre.

The fact that they were out of stock for what I was looking for is not the problem that's normal... But for how unhelpful and how unwilling they were to help was my problem

Worst experience ever after years of shopping!

I wanted to do a cash deposit at the till.

The staff denied me access because I was not wearing a mask but I was wearing a piece of garment tightly wrapped around my face.

Meanwhile, there were customers and even staff members inside the store NOT covering the full faces or not wearing masks, which the staff did not even care about.

The manager Jason was absolutely unhelpful and even REFUSED and gave a speech on laws he does not know about instead of doing the cash deposit at the till for me after I asked him to do it while I would wait outside.

The manager/staff were not keeping the distance while talking to me.

Seems like the staff has no basic education, no common sense and no manners either.

Absolute double-standard.

WHY DOES A CUSTOMER HAVE TO WEAR AN UNSAFE MASK WITH OPENINGS ON THE SIDE AND CANNOT WRAP A SAFER PIECE OF GARMENT AROUND HIS FACE?

This is a supreme pick 'n pay. Its butchery is world class.

I bought steaks from the butchery and will never buy here again. Firstly, the butcher was no where to be found when I went to the counter to place an order. The young lady behind the counter didn't know how to assist me so she went looking for him. When he arrived, he looked visibly annoyed and had his cell phone in his hand. He then proceeded to assist me using his bare hands, no gloves used when handling the meat. How is this allowed? Other than the butchery, this is a great store and carries a good variety of stock, trades until 10pm daily and offers free parking which is convenient for customers.

Badly designed entrance and exit. Express section is understaffed and goes way too slowly. You can never just grab something quickly and for such a busy shop it never seems to have enough staff to cover the whole store.

Was there today to buy pyjamas..thank you for the smile and your politeness.

it really smells very bad near the meat department. I will never buy meat there. a few times I've had problems with items not prized at all. some items are marked and prized very badly. no prize..no buy.
