I love the zoo, great place to take your family. They exhibits were great just wish they had water spray fan for guest also not just animals. Luckily they had 2 splash pad for the kids to enjoy. The camel rides were good and the safari ride was Educational and gave a break from walked.
Love the Phoenix Zoo! Getting out side and seeing nature is always a nice way to spend a few hours. This last weekend the butterflies were absolutely amazing!
Good sized zoo, but I felt like the map and general layout was confusing. You could navigate through the zoo a hundred different ways. Even though I felt like I was missing out on a lot of exhibits, there was a good variety of animals which were out and about even during the hottest part of the day. Paid $30 per adult, you can pay $120 for a yearly membership and bringing a guest.
It was sprinkling today and one of the best days I've had. Animals were out and even caught the lion roar. It was powerful.
Third the here in several years. Currently the parking lot in front of the pay station are in construction. Don't let this sway your decision to come. It is a great place for families to enjoy. The park was not crowded. Very clean and the employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Such an awesome experience! It accommodates everyone and offers so many attractions and educational activities. I absolutely adore the otters!
It was a great visit, but there's a lot of walking, n for seniors such as myself, it makes for a very long day. There should be more benches, or at least a couple more shaded areas so we can rest more often.
Very big zoo, we weren't able to see the whole thing just because of the heat but they let you bring in water bottles/coolers, there's a splash pad to cool off in if you bring bathing suits, and there are plenty of exhibits to look at and enjoy. Definitely will be back to finish exploring the rest of the zoo.
Such a wonderful time. So much to see. We had the early pass for members. We went while I was visiting my daughter in Glendale. Weather wasn't too hot at 6:30 a.m. Suggest this to anyone visiting from out of state.
Disappointed that this pandemic is still causing so stuff to be closed but still a great time.
Lots of great viewing opportunities and a nice casual pace to spend time with family and friends.
