Phoenix Cyberknife & Radiation Oncology Center Review

Today finished my 45th and final treatment for prostate cancer. The staff at Phx CyberKnife were consistently professional on every visit. Wish to thank them for their friendliness and always making me feel comfortable.

Amazing doctors with the most state of the art cancer treatment technologies and a very loving and supportive staff!

I have had several friends of mine have treatments at Phoenix Cyberknife Center with Dr Kresl, and they have all had great things to say about the Center and Dr Kresl. They continue to refer all their friends and family members to Dr Kresl and Phoenix Cyberknife for all newly diagnosed cancer patients as well as second opinions if they are new diagnosed by other physicians.

Thank you to the staff for making me feel at ease with my treatment. Dr. Kresl and his staff are experts at what they do. A special thanks to Steven who provided my treatment every day for a week; an awesome, caring person and the ultimate professional as well.

Cyberknife saved my life. My urologist wanted to do surgery right away, but my wife and I got on the web to see other alternatives. I am so thankful I did. I was grateful the stage and psi I was at still qualified me for cyberknife. We met with Dr. Zaky and she gave me the hope I needed to go with the cyberknife plan. I was off work for 6 weeks and in good health to return to work. I hope all men who are told you have prostate cancer, will do some research and see surgery is a last try to rid your body of cancer. The staff and nurses, doctors, the radiation tech are so knowledgeable and able to answer your questions. I now have Dr. Stegman and couldn't be in better hands. I ve been taking my 92 yr old father to Phoenix Cyberknife for a few weeks where he is under the care of Dr. John Kresl. He s doing well. The radiation technicians Jenn, Steve, and Roxanne are fantastic and treat my dad wonderfully. I highly recommend Phoenix CyberKnife if you are in need of state of the art treatment.

During May,June 2016 I received radiation treatment for Lung Cancer at Phoenix Cyberknife under the care of Dr. John J. Kresl, his colleagues and staff who planned and administered my treatments on the Center s TrueBeam STx system. Coordinated Chemotherapy during May,June was provided by Dr. Lawrence Kasper and his staff at Internists, Oncologists,Ltd.
Weekly meetings with Dr Kresl during the May,June treatments provided me with the courage and confidence I needed to proceed - prior to each meeting the nurse Deirdre and her assistant provided additional reassurance and explanations. The Radiation Therapists were exceptionally kind, caring and helpful in explaining the daily treatments in May,June , Dr Kasper and staff provided reassurance and explanations during the weekly Chemotherapy treatments.
A CTScan on Sept12 showed that the cancerous nodule had been completely removed and related Lymph Node cancer resolved. A subsequent PET-CT Scan on Dec 12 showed no metastatic cancer in lower body. Another CTScan will be performed in April. I am proceeding with exercise and diet.

Dr. Lauren Stegman treated me for Prostate Cancer at Phoenix Cyberknife in early 2017. Upon our first meeting I knew I had chosen the right doctor. I quickly found out that he was very knowledgeable, caring, a good listener and was very receptive to any and all questions I had. We discussed different treatments and different forms of hormone therapy. Upon a treatment decision I was scheduled for fiducial placements and a MRI. Later a CT Scan and 5 days of treatment. All went very smoothly. The staff were very professional especially the nurse when I called about some side effects. Since Phoenix Cyberknife treats other cancers I would return for more treatment if needed. Highly recommended!

Staff very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, after considerable expense the treatments were ineffective. Part of the contract was there was no guarantee of success. I faxed them with my concerns and would have expected some sort of followup but have received nothing. I was fortunate to have good insurance to cover most of the outrageous cost. A response to my concerns would have been appreciated even if nothing further could be done. So, front end very good; back end not so much.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kresl for nearly two years having received radiation treatment for a vestibular schwannoma (acoustic neuroma).

From the very beginning everything was fully explained and all of my questions were answered making my decision to undergo radiation treatment an easy one given the alternatives...neurosurgery or waiting to see if the tumor would continue to grow.

The treatment went exactly as it was described to me and now 18 months post treatment my tumor is showing no increase in size and my hearing has not further deteriorated.

The staff and doctors have been extremely helpful, friendly and at all times professional.
