You won t find a better organization to get an Ass...

You won t find a better organization to get an Assistance dog from. PADs founder has had several Assistance dogs of her own and has worked in the industry for about 15 years. They also offer owner training which is very tough to find.

I've been an Owner Trainer with Phoenix for almost a year now. (That means, they approved me and i adopted my own dog to train myself) it is an amazing organization! It actually feels more like a community and family! Very educated and experienced trainers to help guide you every step of the way. We are taught and educated on the proper and most healthy way to raise/train/care for dogs. Legitimate, non profit, organization that doesn't let you just pass after a certain amount of time. It's based on the progress of the dogs and they make sure the dogs are actually ready and capable of confidently moving forward. They will not allow a dog or training team to move forward if they are not ready. And I really admire that. It not ownly keep the dog safe, but the owners and general public aswell!
This organization changed my life and I am so thank and great ful for them! They are amazing and I highly recommend Phoenix 100 stars out of 5 :)

About Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA

Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA: Providing Life-Changing Service Dogs

Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA (PAD Central) is a non-profit organization that provides highly trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities. The organization was founded by Linzey Zoccola, who has a passion for dogs and a desire to serve the community. With her experience in raising, training, and having service dogs herself, she saw an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

PAD Central's mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities by providing them with specially trained assistance dogs. These dogs are trained to perform tasks that help their handlers live more independently and safely. PAD Central's service dogs are not only highly skilled but also loving companions that provide emotional support and unconditional love.

The organization offers various types of assistance dogs depending on the needs of their clients. They provide mobility assistance dogs for individuals who have difficulty walking or standing, hearing alert dogs for those who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, seizure response dogs for those with epilepsy or other seizure disorders, psychiatric service dogs for individuals with mental health conditions such as PTSD or anxiety disorders, and diabetic alert dogs for those with diabetes.

PAD Central's training program is rigorous and comprehensive. The organization uses positive reinforcement techniques to train their service animals which ensures they are well-behaved in public settings while still being able to perform necessary tasks when needed. The trainers work closely with each dog throughout its training process until it is ready to be matched with its new handler.

One unique aspect of PAD Central's program is that they offer customized training plans based on each client's specific needs. This means that each dog receives individualized attention during its training process so it can best serve its future handler.

In addition to providing highly skilled assistance animals, PAD Central also offers ongoing support services after placement. This includes follow-up visits from trainers as well as access to resources such as veterinary care recommendations and continued education on how best to work with your new companion animal.

PAD Central relies heavily on donations from individuals and organizations in order to continue providing these life-changing services at no cost to their clients. They also rely on volunteers who assist in various aspects such as puppy raising or administrative duties.

Overall, Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA is an exceptional organization dedicated not only improving the lives of people living with disabilities but also promoting awareness about the important role these animals play in our society today. Their commitment towards excellence sets them apart from other similar organizations making them one worth supporting both financially through donations or volunteering your time if you're passionate about helping others live better lives through canine companionship!
