We brought our car in after some bad luck on a road trip. We ran over a dead deer that was in the middle of the road. We didn't know the extent of the damage until we got home and had it looked at by autowerks. My insurance covered it so all seemed good. When I picked up my car I did not notice anything until I got it up on a lift approx 1 month later. The front bumper cover was replaced. When going up on the lift I noticed a slight ripple in a few spots, and looking a little deeper I notice there was a brake line shield that was bent and the lower control arm still had a little goo from the deer. When I took the car in to be looked at they immediately went on the defensive and said that we had to of hit something, now there was no scratches nor missing paint in that area. The bumper has a defect. My wife nor I have driven the car much since the road trip due to the fact she works from home for now during covid. I explained to them that neither of us has hit anything with the exception of a scratch on the bottom side of the bumper from scraping a curb. There is also a scrape on the bottom side of the car but no where in the area of the damage, but they still say we had to of hit something. I will never take my vehicles to them again and I suggest that when you pick up your car if you take it there to have them put it up on a lift and inspect every inch of the car.
