The hotel itself is very good and the location is superb when taking a connection, no better place in that sense but there is no place to eat at all and that becomes a biiiiiig problem. They closed their restaurant. You just have room service. It is good, I used it twice but the menu is very short though.
We were really happy of our stay at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott. We weren't able to make our flight, and the Marriott is directly accessible to the airport without having to step a foot outside. Really great for us since it was really cold outside.
Nicole served us at the Registration desk, and she was extremely polite and helpful. Our room was clean, and just what we expected from the Marriott chain.
We returned downstairs to find out what there is to do around here and how to get around, and again, Nicole helped us out, and she was flat out amazing. She initiated a conversation, smiled a lot, and made our stay here just what we needed after a long day of travel.
Thank you Nicole- it's great to see people like you out there.
The place is very controlled but when you go up to pick up people make sure you know where you're going cuz you can get lost you'll be circling and circling and
Clean & lovely; watch out for parking fees if you booked this.
So I do not have the proper words to clearly state the disgust and the anger I fell right now at this Marriott. My mother and I had a room booked yesterday and we paid for it when we checked in. The manager this morning called us to say that are card was declined even though the card was approved at check in. She pretty much told us we had to pay that again or leave. Not to mention my mother was on the phone with her bank and they explained to manager that they already had taken the money out. The bank didn t understand why they took anymore money out. They kicked us out the hotel because we didn t want to pay them the money twice. I am disgusted with how we were treated here at this Marriott. I have always stayed at Marriott hotels everywhere I go. At this point I don t feel comfortable staying at another Marriott, let alone this one. I only put 1 star because I can t give less than 1.
Nice hotel with direct access to airport terminal. Restaurant is OK, which is good because there aren't many options in the area.
I wish I could give this a negative rating due too the price and where my room was located, my first time at a Marriott hotel and look great on the site but when I got too my room I got a room close to the end of the hall with a loud clicking noise all night room was small for the price, their is also no breakfast and no WiFi straight trash, "and worst of all i expected clean stuff ect for a $200+ room but I ended up with "BLOOD STAIN" on my sheets "wish I could post up pictures but wont let me" the guy came to my room with gloves to collect the stained sheet while i got to sleep in it so I feel like if you wanna pay $200+ for this go ahead never again for me.
Connected to airport
Excellent restaurant. Very clean
Way too much money. Front desk staff were rude. There is nothing around at all. So if you get hungry prepare to pay 10$ just for a pretzel
This airport is so run down and the bathrooms are just dirty and gross. Plain old worn out and really needs some updating.
Extremely quiet even though it is at a busy airport
Good wings at the bar and good service. Great view out of hotel room at night.
Very clean, well staffed and managed facility. I loved my time in the hotel and I especially enjoyed the restaurant and all the all the food. Highly recommend will be back
I arrived at 2am along with several other people. Two bozos were at the counter questioning the price of their room. Another individual arrived at the counter and check me in immediately. She went on to check in the individuals waiting behind me. Getting in at 2am I did not want to be woken up before 10. I was shocked at the airplanes taking off right outside my room and not being able to hear them (I was on the 13th floor). I wish more airport hotels were like it.
We splurged and had the runway view, it was a really nice and convenient stay right next to the airports, but you don't hear them taking off or landing. The hotel though, try to avoid, over priced food, and super sugary drinks.
Nice, clean and very convenient. Its inside the airport, leave your room and a 6 minute walk to TSA
Stayed during Memorial Day weekend 2017-- room was cozy, clean, and well-taken care of by housekeeping. Very convenient to airport, just take 2nd floor catwalk directly there. Parking $24/day and also convenient to hotel via 3rd floor catwalk directly to garage. Lobby area and business center very nice. Food at hotel restaurant, the Aviation Center, could be much better. Pretty decent gym on 2nd floor included at no extra cost and sometimes stocked with fresh fruit.
The hotel is very dated. The rooms are very musty smelling and seem to need an update. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was standard.
Man, you just can't beat a 5 minute walk to the terminal! However, my room had no mini fridge, and that will always lose a star. Thus place is awe some other than that!
I wish I could rate this hotel 0. It starts when you enter the hotel and it smells strongly of marijuana. Then, at check-in, the front desk guy forgets to offer me points or free breakfast which is due for my status. We get to our hotel room and it smells of nasty sweat. We needed ice for an injury so I went to the ice machine and there was no ice. I called downstairs and had to argue with the guy at the desk to get ice. Finally, he agreed but the ice never came. I called again and this time got ice. The next morning, when we got room service, I asked for ice again because no ice in the ice machine. The room service attendant made clear that it was a huge inconvenience and ssid "I guess I can request that." I would NEVER stay in this hotel again.
It's a very nice hotel that's extremely convenient because it's located right outside of terminal b. The beds are comfortable but the rooms definitely need renovation. It's clean but noticeable things like bathrooms and fixtures and carpeting need a bit of an update. The staff is very friendly. It can be a bit on the pricier side. If you're looking for an overnight that's all about location to the airport this would be the right match.
Super convenient as it's connected to Terminal B. Room service was fast and pretty good, too.
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, spotless lobby, classy restaurant/bar. Cons: No complimentary coffee in the lobby, non-functional beverage machine (apparently last checked in 2013), overly pricey restaurant
Love it. Don't even have to walk outside the airport to get there. Has a bar and restaurant inside. Clean and friendly staff.
Great service. Great rooms. Directly at the airport.
Had breakfast their with a few coworkers there while waiting for a ride. Service was absolutely excellent and the food was just the same. If I ever fly thru this airport again, I will definitely be dropping by here.
Went to this hotel for a business conference, the flyer they gave us had very vauge directions on parking. I parked where I could and parking validations were given at the conference. When I left my parking validation was no good. So I went back to the hotel to get it straightened out. The employee working at the front desk was very rude and accusing that I parked in the wrong area and did not even attempt to help. He was demeaning and embarassed me infront of my peers. I have stayed in Marriotts all over the country and was always treated very well. I will never stay at that hotel and I will definitely let my company know how I was treated and to have out semi-annual conference elsewhere.
Nice hotel with a very good staff. Nice oasis in the middle of an airport.
Terrible experience. For the first time in my life, I was not offered complimentary wifi at a hotel, which charged me more than $200 a night for a room. To boot, the overpriced parking ($25) adds further insult to injury. Average room, average hotel, below-average experience. Find something else.
Great hotel, customer service was top notch. I must mention a name because I was so impressed but Lenh is a very good representative for this establishment. She has been trained well in the art of customer service. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
I loved it. Personal were friendly, also very helpful. The people working there were very courteous. The room was very comfortable. With a bed was a dream. A totally unforgettable experience. I will definitely stay there again.
Great hotel lots of room plenty of parking clean neat and organized. The staff was awesome. My stay was super comfortable. Walked in threw the garage into the building. My experience was on point. 5 stars all day
The place was great service was great food was good.
I had a short meeting at the Marriott and so never left the first two floors -a drink downstairs and chatting in the open chairs on the second floor occupied my time. What few staff I interacted with were kind and helpful, and I would definitely recommend the place to other travelers looking to stop for a short, informal meeting in Philadelphia.
Loved it very comfortable only dislike is that they charge you 25 dollars for parking which is not included in the hotel price
Room was great, front desk staff was great, very convenient for airport travel.. the hotel itself is very nice. The restaurant inside the hotel is a disaster. It s over priced. Way over priced.. and my food was dry, clearly microwaved because there were spots of hot and spots of cold. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with chicken and fries. The fries were old, cold, and dry. The chicken in the sandwich was somewhat so hot in some spots and cold in the others. The chicken was also extremely dry, no taste, cheese was barely melted on top on the sandwich. If you re charging $18 for a sandwich and fries, put some more effort into it. I mean I gave them my business because it was easy and close. I could ve spent less uberring somewhere and had way better food. The service was horrible. The gentleman clearly had way too many tables and moved slow. It wasn t really his fault. Why give a slow moving server 9 tables to himself? I wanted to complain about my food and send it back, but he was so busy, I couldn t even get his attention so I got annoyed and was hungry and just ate the bad food. I had 2 overpriced drinks and my food. Paid $60 for this meal and I feel robbed. I have spent way more on dinners in the past, and I have no problem spending money on food or drinks when the quality of service and food is worth the money. My advice to anyone who stays here.. stay..but go to a different restaurant. This place robs you and feeds you dog food.
Nice place and so convenient to the airport hard not to stay here
Friendly staff and clean room. Right in the airport so easy to catch your flight without the hurry. We needed to check in early and were easily accommodated. Check-in and out was quick!
Went to a lunch meeting. Food and internet were fantastic! Great looking place.
Marriott never disappoints! Room was clean & comfortable. Customer service was exceptional; Dorothy went the extra mile to provide us recommendations for brunch. It was much appreciated.
That was fun with my granddaughter to pick up her mom
By far the best location, quiet and comfortable rooms, nice gym and great staff.
We stayed here at the lobby restaurant during a long wait for our flight.
We were greeted not very friendly and seated right next to the kitchen door although the restaurant was very empty.
The waiter was friendly but she dropped my colleague's water and didn't even offer a replacement.
The price for my veggie Burger was fair for an airport hotel and the serving was large and the food was quite tasty, also the fries.
I was shocked at the price for a double espresso though, $8 for one is way to expensive in my opinion! Even at Starbucks the price is a lot cheaper and Marriott serves Starbucks coffee.
Also, they claimed my credit card wouldn't work although I used it to pay the taxi to arrive at the airport and afterwards for some duty free shopping.
Better then expected clean everything excellent stay
A must do for an early morning flight. Responsibly priced, clean large room and easy airport access.
I put a review up, with the complaint of no refund from hotel. That was amended this evening with much gratefulness on my part.
Mr. Michael Miller, manager called me personally and settled that dispute!
Due to Covid restrictions, we were informed before we took off in Denver, that we couldn't visit my sister in ICU at Hershey Medical Center. We actually got off the plane before it took off for Phila, and therefore had to cancel at theMarriott. What a sweet guy that manager is. WE will always give the Marriott our business. Great integrity and a pleasant surprise despite all of the bad news we have received within 24 hours. There are still people. in the world that care.
Clean rooms and large bathrooms. Breakfast in the restaurant was superb. Easy access to terminal B. I thought the Parking cost of $24 per day was too high.
Clean, nice room. No amenities such as microwave or fridge. Room rates are over priced and the shop and grill are very over priced.
Room was NOICE!
Restaurant had savor food but waiter was icky!
Also, one sink handle (likely warm) did no have working function! Turn go awry!
Convince is key with this hotel. Is it the nicest and fanciest Marriott? No, but you can walk to your airplane. Makes it 100% worth it.
Nice view of runway at upper floors. A bit of a distance from the city. Nice and clean
Never a fun time at the airport. Stop a the Marriott for lunch since we could not get into restaurants at the airport because we weren't traveling.
Very nice and convenient for my early flight! I love staying here!
Rooms were small, cold no fridge or microwave parking is expensive!
I deal with traveling and the Marriott constantly. This was the worse experience ever! I gave them cash when the front desk said my card wouldn't go through although there was beyond more than enough money on there. I ended up using the ATM to give them the cash to hold. They ended up keeping the cash and taking money out of my account! I was told they refunded my account and no refund is there!!!!!! I won't denounce Marriott as a whole but as far as the Philadelphia Airport Marriott I will NEVER recommend anyone I know or encounter to stay with you!!
A great place for a bite to eat before or after a flight. A bit pricey, but it's an airport!
Attended a conference . Didn't love the food but servers were polite
I was so disappointed with my stay here. The beds and pillows we're uncomfortable. The room was warm and the blanket was unusable because of the temperature. Next time I'll save 50 bucks and stay at one of the smaller motels a little further away.
Horrible service!!! They charge you at check-out more then they advertise at check-in. They blamed us when we called later to ask about additional charges that we "must have heard them wrong".
