This store is so much fun to go in and see all the animals. They keep it very clean and well maitained. My kids love how they have so many puppies. It's insane how much they charge for there dogs. Lots of money! Thousands of dollars! But its fun to go and look at all the animals.

I love coming here, they have cute puppies and other cool animals. I m thinking about applying here soon.

I would not recommend buying a puppy from here. A family member of mine recently purchased one and was left in the dark about the puppy carrying kennel cough. We are now at 12 dogs that have caught it because of petlands negligence.

Over priced puppy mill puppies, over priced aquarium fish, over priced everything pretty much. Staff have to make sales quotas so they'll push "packages" on you. Many people have ended up with seriously ill animals from here and last I knew they don't take animals back.

Purchased a puppy and it acquired Cherry Eye but when I tried to get it covered under their warranty I was informed that because I didn't get it to the vet in the 4 days the warranty was void. They stated I had to get her to a vet by 7/3/15 but that was a holiday so they robbed me out of one day and I had her seen on 7/7/15 which was only one day shy cause 7/4,5/15 was a weekend. What is sad is I have spent more in the last month at Petland than the price for the surgery of the Cherry Eye but they have just lost another customer. Make sure you read their puppy contracts throughly as they employees didn't really emphasize the 4 day vet checkup. Maybe it should be put in BOLD in the warranty so it stands out from all the paperwork they make you sign.

I go here at LEAST 3 times a week. I highly recommend this store if you are looking to buy any type of animal. They are very educated on the animals that they have and provide all types of information and suggestions as to what to buy and use to make you and your animal happy.

Recently Purchased a puppy from this location and had a great experience. It was very busy as usual, but you can understand why they have the guidelines they do. These are tiny babies who need tons of care and attention. They play with tons of customers and obviously stay in kennels that they keep clean. As for the pricing, I have seen pictures of the staff visiting our puppies breeder. Before coming to the store I was on fb looking for a puppy and you can see that their are tons of backyard breeders selling puppies for 600-800 dollars where no one does anything to control that...if you prefer to not get a puppy from a mill, then be willing to pay the price... people spend worse money on worse things.

Seriously not impressed with this place anymore. I purchased my chocolate lab from them a few years ago and I loved to go there...now with the new management I hate it! The employees always walk right past me and ignore me every time I am there. They have the worst customer service and there dogs are way too over priced! The last time I was there I was totally pissed off by how they had treated me and I will sadly probably never go back!

Very disappointed and they only got a star because you can't leave a comment with no stars. Went in there today to purchase a dog and was told we could not play with the dog even though the store opened up 15 mins ago before we got there. Told me I could only play with there small dogs when I wanted to purchase a large breed dog. Called back to talk to a manager about this and the guy hung up on me who was supposed to be the manager. Will be calling corporate office tommorrow when they open

They have many local made products, as well as all-natural product brands, that you can't usually find in the larger chain stores. As a crunchy momma AND fur momma, that makes me happy!

A lot of cute puppies and other small animals. You can play with the puppy you interested in small cubicles. Beware their puppies are petty expensive. But they come with many additional free services along with the puppy. Overall worth it.

The dogs/puppies at petland are awesome but the prices are through the roof. $2900 for a golden retriever puppy is a rip off. I contacted a certified breeder (not a puppy mill) instead and will be getting my puppy from them.

This place is a joke bought a hamster from them and in 2 days it died had to argue with manager come to find out the don't offer a warranty if you don't buy there supplies which are very over priced. Why would you buy supplies you already have.. no other pet store makes you buy there supplies to get a heath guarantee. I recommend that you avoid this place we went right to county max and payed $15 less for the same kind of hamster and didn't have to buy there supplies to get a health guarantee

They have poor quality dogs at very high prices. A boxer had the worst pasterns that I've ever seen. The great dane was emaciated. The poor things hip bones and ribs were showing. There was a small fluffy dog with urine stained white fur and another had poop stuck to its bottom. They have 2 Jackson's chameleon's without proper lighting PLUS, there was a sign saying that they would grow horns! They were female and only the males have horns!! They advertised the full grown ferrets as babies, other than the puppies, I didn't see 1 "baby" animal. I was disgusted and saddened by this local pet store. Please, please, please... Look for a quality breeder before you buy a puppy here. You'd save yourself a lot of health issues and future expenses.

I found a parakeet crushed under a water dish, when I told someone about it they put it in the box and "claimed" it was still alive and brought it to the back. I dont know how it happend or how it was missed. Reguardless I dont know how this was missed or what a kid would do if they caught it.

Wouldn't give price over the phone. Drove an hour and half to get there and the price was $8000.00 !!! That did include a puppy for life chipping and other stuff that I didn't want. Go to a breeder instead. Going rate is $1500-$2000. Only 1 star because had to click at least one to post, and the puppy was cute.

Excellent stock of freshwater and saltwater fish for a chain store. They even have plants!

I got my puppy here last time I went. Sadly, because of petland he had kennel cough which has came to bronchitis. However, he will be alright. But, aside from that, the workers were very helpful and made him really easy to adopt. I also got my rabbit from petland, and he has been healthy all of his life. I have had 2 hamsters, and what can I say, there hamsters!

They use puppy mills! Get your pet supplies from places that support rescues AND get your pet from a rescue!...they even have pure breed rescues out there.

They won't tell you how much there prices art over the phone even tho I'm out of town I'm glad I read the reviews on google it's a puppy mill ..sad

Animals were adorable! But we spent 45 mins trapped in a cube waiting for answers and help. We ended up having to leave without complete answers and info.

Impressive selection of *healthy* fresh/saltwater fish and corals. I have been to very few stores that don't purely specialize in fish, that have healthy, good quality livestock. Petland surprisingly pulls this off well.

This place is absolutely horrible! The people there were extremely rude when we asked to look at a puppy. They refused to let us see a puppy even while others around us had dogs out. The store has terrible service. I wouldn t recommend it to anyone.

Small store has an okay selection. It's always packed because of the puppies they sell.

It was crazy busy tonight and they were short staffed, but they still made sure everyone was taken care of. They were very friendly and still had a smile.

It's all about the puppies and other great animals. Fish are great as are the small mammals. The staff is friendly and attentive and always eager to help. Playing with the puppies are always a great way to spend some time and make a new friend.

I got my dog (mini Australian Shepherd) there back in 2014. He was really expensive, that's the only downside. He's never really been sick, he's a really healthy dog. If the dogs weren't so expensive I would get him a little Aussie sibling from them. I'd recommend them if you're looking for a furry best friend.

I own a local fish store and every once in a while we dont have something in our storr and the guys down there are always super nice.

We recently bought a Poochon puppy, then the following week bought another one. The second one was hospitalized within 24 hrs of us taking her home with Par Vo. Petland Insurace company did pay part of the hospital bill but the puppy is still contagious and we told them that we wanted to return her for a refund or at least another puppy. They told us that we can t get anything from them and if we return the dog we would be forfeiting her. The puppy is still in the hospital occurring more bills at this time. We have talked to many different people and it seems that their corporate offices and their insurance company maybe one in the same or very close knit.

Animals are super cute BUT $6000 for a puppy is a bit expensive.

I love going in here to see or play with the puppies. Or fish were healthy from here as well. But prices are kind of high and the dog prices are rediculous! But people are always nice and i like that they remodeled.

They had a puppy that was hurt and limping and they would not give it medical attention. They don t take care of their animals only worry about selling them for the most money

I've been going to petland for years and my oh my has it changed. Since the new management the people seem to actually have knowledge. the staff are kind and answered any questions i had. The puppies are so cute! and they do sleep since they need rest... just like a child takes a nap during the day. they explained to me how they socialize and i got to play with a cute baby girl husky! as i opened my mind up, i decided to walk to the back of the store and the aquariums were clean and full of life since the last time i was here (1 1/2 years ago). i actually started a saltwater tank. the girls in the aquariums knew so much and i was so surprised to learn so much in one day. i think you have to go for yourself to see what this store has for you. would definitely go again :)

Had many kinds of puppies. When I asked a question, I was handed a paper that had a list of things that makes them unique. Most of it was fluff, getting you setup for the big hit. We picked out a Husky that we liked. The sale's girl put us in a cubical, and brought us the Husky puppy. We played with her for about 15 minutes, and really started to like her. That is when I asked "How Much" she proceeded to say that the pricing on the Husky's are approx $4000, YES $$4000. Then she said that we can finance also. Have some very nice looking puppies, but at that price the puppy need's to have won Best of Show at the Westminster Dog Show!!! Totally ridiculous Pricing. Have seen comparable Husky Pups on the internet, for way way less money. It is too bad, we could offered this puppy a great loving home.

Awesome staff, great selection, wonderful products. I like the idea of their only selling products they use with their own pets. The only negative is that they seem understaffed at times.

Will never buy anything from petland again. Bought farrats in less then two week and $700 in vet bills we lost are farrat. Nothing like selling sick animals

It is absolutely awful that you keep these fish in tiny little bowls and then you go and put compleatly unnecessary flowers in there to take up what little space they have left!

Animals in terrible condition, kept in lousy conditions. Observed a dog with foot sores from the cage, large dogs in tiny cages, undersized tanks for sealife, etc. This place really should not be open.

We bought 2 dogs 1 has bad hip at 2 years old the second one is 3 and going into kidney failure.NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

They lied to me about the dogs having AKC certification, the dogs have health issues from being breed and sourced in an inhumane way. Prices are expensive (you're looking at paying more than 5 grand for a dog).

Please please research puppy mills when you want to adopt a dog! Many places (including this one) will get their dogs from puppy mills and lie about it, either blatantly or through a loophole.

It's a great store mostly everything is greatly priced just be careful of fish sometimes they have ick but ... They do have a 14 day guarantee do not buy there dogs 100% over priced litterly go to Craigslist or SPCA or a local breeder and u can get cheeper the do have the thing where if ur dog dies u get a new one but u don't know if they will still be in business

Pearland is a good pet shop. They have a wide selection of products, clean and ordered stores, but non competitive pricing

Probably the best petstore in the entire CNY area. They carry a wide variety of products for a good price. They aren't specialists persay but offer what they can. I go primarily for their aquatic section. Not many good stores in the area for fish anymore but these guys have done a bangup job of picking the torch up and running with it.

Dogs are super expensive and from puppy mills but they carry a lot of different supplies for rabbits turtles birds not just dog and cat items

Seriously been standing here for 30min. Many employees walk past multiple times not one has ask if they can assist, one replied that she would return shortly. 20 min ago. I just need a couple things. What shitty customer service.

Not too bad for salt water fish, supplies could be better though.

Dogs are always well kept, but the reptile cages were terrible. Poop everywhere, looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks.

Petland is such a fun place to go, though it can get really busy sometimes, the employees are full of knowledge and can help you with any questions. The animals are absolutely well taken care of and clean. They have tons of treats and toys to choose from too! Go for a visit today!

please take the flowers out of the fish bowls. they are already in containers that are way too small for them, and now you're taking more room away from them with the flowers?
if this is a marketing thing, its terrible.
it takes away from the fish's living apace, masks their beauty, and there's the fact that nobody goes shopping for submerged flowers.
please stop abusing your betta

Me and my mother wint to get her dog nails clipped they were so nice and very gentle with her dog.

I brought a pomsky back in june of last year. It took me 2 dna test that are saying the same thing. One from wisdom panal. And the second one confirming from Washington state University PhD,vcp of vets. Saying the dog i brought has mdr1. She has a level 3 out of 5 . Have yet to hear back from Petland. I have all the paperwork. And submit them 3 times now. I also have a signed contract saying petland will give a 100% rembursement for any hereditary problems of a puppy. All I want is my money back. I can't handle a pup with medical problems. With taking care of my own disabled kids.

Beautiful puppies and the staff are very helpful with any information you need to purchase a pet to add to the family.

I wanted to look at a puppy and ask questions about price and the young lady never followed through. Rethinking about going again. Terrible

I made an appointment to look at a puppy that was displayed on the website. Came to the store and was informed that the puppy had been sold. Disappointed but determined I checked the website in the following days and saw another puppy that I was interested in, called made an appointment to see it. When I got to the store they said the puppy would not be available for a number of days but that they would be more than happy to run a credit check on me for the 8,000.00 the puppy would cost. This place has inept people working there and they are charging way too much
Go somewhere else, you'll be much happier

This review is limited to fish only, since I don't know the details of or have any knowledge of any of their other departments. The fish tanks are very clean, as was the whole store. They have a very nice selection of both fresh and saltwater fish. The girls that helped me were super nice and were knowledgeable. They asked me what size tank I had when I told them what fish I wanted and that is always a good sign, it shows they care about the fish and your success in the hobby. They also had a great selection of medications, water additives, and fish foods. I didn't really look to close at their equipment section but I'm sure they had all the bases covered at least.

Nice selection of pets. Store was clean. Lots of area to play with puppies. However, cost to buy a dog is extraordinarily high. For example 1 King Charles Cavalier was $5,800.

Wants dog. Finds cute shih tzu on website. Googles average price for a shih tzu. Finds out the average price is around $2,000. Calls store to ask for price. Gets some beating around the bush about "come see our dogs first." Gives humanity the benefit of the doubt. Drives 2 hours to meet the cute puppy. Plays with said puppy. Likes said puppy. Wants said puppy. Gets prepared to pay around $2,000 for said puppy. Gets asked questions about personal like by staff member. Waits for price to be given. Gets handed a piece of paper. Sees price. Rubs eyes. Double takes the price. Sees $7,100 for shih tzu. Tells lady the wife and I will think it over lunch. Was told have a nice day knowing we would not return. Drove home

Pet land is so awesome!!!the puppies are taken care of amazingly and you can interact with all the animals unlike any other store. And also when we called to ask a question the people that answer the phone are do nice and helpful unlike the people at other pet stores who take forever to talk to you.
