This store is incredible! So much selection, including candy, tea, coffee, jam, beer/wine, t-shirts, books, kitchen gadgets, etc. We come every November for our chocolate letters (Dutch Christmas tradition), but love to visit throughout the year, too. They also have the dispensers of M&Ms and Jelly Belly sorted by color/flavor.

Used too go there as a little girl, brings back memories. Great food, jelly bean wall was always my favorite. Doubt forget the cheeses. All the old workers remembered me as I grew up. It always felt like somewhere that was really part of the family.
I have shopped here many times in the past and love the unique selections they offer. However, I don't intend to shop here in the future. They don't seem to respect the health of customers like myself. No mandated mask sign on the door should have been my first clue. The cashier wore a mask but the customer checking out as I opened the door to proceed with my shopping did not. Feeling uneasy about how many Covid-19 germs may be imbedded in the merchandise from lax enforcement of Michigan's mandate, I announced to the cashier that I was not going to enter the store because of what I was witnessing. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars in that store in the last several years, but no more.
Love this store. The employees are very friendly and helpful and I always feel welcomed the moment I walk in. Great selection of beer and wine. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.
I recently went to Pete s for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it! Such a wide variety of items packed into that space. Good deals on home items as well as the food and beverages.
Love this little specialty shop. We go here when we're looking for some tea, beer, wine, or cider that we can't find elsewhere. We almost always leave with a few extra goodies as well. The service is always very helpful and incredibly friendly. Def recommend!
Festive and stocked for Christmas. COVID19 protocols in place. We shopped for stocking stuffers and found a lot of local and hard to find international goodies.
I received my first order today and I am so impressed with how it was packaged. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Everything is fresh. I will definitely order again. Thank you.
Love this store and have shopped here for many, many years. So many excellent and hard to find items, on sale daily. Great selection of wine and cheese!
Great store! Clean and neat. They have a wide selection of beers, ciders and wine. They also have teas and tea supplies. There is a nice selection of European candies, cookies and other food stuff. They have a cooler with cheeses, salami type meats and dips. A freezer has a few other selections as well. This is good place to pick up unusual things for gift baskets and stocking stuffer treats.
Love this store but went in there this morning looking for something specific. The employee working was quite obviously on a personal phone call and totally ignored me. Ended up walking out.
They used to have a much bigger selection before they moved down the road to this location. They must have dropped hundreds of things from their inventory and removed the whole deli/cafe section.
Peters Gourmet Market really does have something for everybody. Whether your there for beer, wine, meat, cheese, pop, candy or coffee, they have the best selection of it all. I sound like I'm writing a commercial... Go there and see what I mean! Also I'd like to add that my wife dropped her I.D. while we were there and the clerk that found it brought it to us... Good people.
Many interesting finds here. Huge selection of candies from around the world. Great selection of teas and soft drinks too. I am a big fan of this place, great atmosphere and very friendly service.
Great little store with plenty of international items. Lots of wines and beers, but they do put a little extra margin in their pricing. Expect to pay 20% more than other places, but the staff is kind and helpful. Great candy selection as well. I always come here for last minute gifts and people always love them.
We love Peter's. We go at least once a week. Staff is super friendly and treats us like family. Great unique selection of craft beers and other goodies!
I love this place, always something new to try. They probably have the best selection of Dutch cheeses and the largest black licorice aisle I have ever seen. Lots of other European products and great beers too
Great little market with a huge selection of specialty beers and other specialty foods, loose leaf tea, etc. that are hard to find elsewhere. Staff was very friendly and kind. I'll definitely be back!
This place has changed way too much I used to buy a lot more there than they used to offer great samples to try different products and now there are none very disappointing
In order to taste most of the Michigan breweries, I had to drive to Siciliano's to make my own six pack, but then a friend took me to Peters two months ago and I've been back almost every week to make my own four or six pack. They have a fantastic selection of beers, both from Michigan (Founders, Bells, Vivant, New Holland, Blackrocks, Mt. Pleasant, North Peak, Short's, Dark Horse, Saugatuck, and maybe a dozen more) as well as craft brews from all over the nation. The prices are under $2/bottle for a make-your-own pack unless it's something barrel-aged (like Dragon's Milk) or over 12 oz. (like Vivant's cans). For pre-packaged six packs, prices are competitive with or below Meijer, Family Fare, etc.
The staff is always friendly and they even hand out free wine and beer samples on certain days of the week! They also have a ton of unique soda pops (mostly root beer), wine, and ciders. Their candy and cheese selection is very diverse. Love this place!
This place has an amazing selection of goods that you just don't see elsewhere. I highly recommend the dark chocolate covered cashews; I haven't found their equal anywhere else.
This is an enjoyable place to visit. It's the place to go if you want some Dutch-related items. I enjoy looking at their variety of coffee, cheese, beer, and wine. The prices are a little on the high side, but in line with a specialty store.
We have shopped at this unique market for years. I've been in twice since COVID hit, including two days ago. The manager walked around the store with no mask on and passed near me in three different places where I was browsing. The cashier had her mask on and off. They communicate their disrespect for the health of their customers and disregard rules we have been asked to follow. I went to VanderVeen's Dutch store a few miles away-- signs on the doors, all employees wearing masks, a place that respects its customers.
