Still have awesome shakes! Huge fry portions. Burgers are not very good since the ownership changed.

It's good, but not as good as my friends made it sound.

The food is absolutely amazing but the lines can go soo long and the wait can be up to 1 hr!

Delicious (and large) milkshake, love that you can mix 3 flavours - I had chocolate, coffee, & mint. Hot dogs are a bit pricey but tasty ($4ish), and a small fry is quite large!

Nostalgic burger place, great thick and creamy milkshakes. Tried the seasonal pumpkin spice milkshake and it was quite good.

The sauce Tastes like adams ribs in Richmond Hill Ontario in 1977.

This place use to be really good ..somethings happened here over the past few years . Service is slower . Food quality is not close to the same as it was . Staff are nice good service on this point . I seem to remember more opptions

Burgers are blah. Milkshakes are good. Portioning is big but it's very bland food. Only good thing is the shakes.

Peter's Drive In is a Calgary institution. Best milkshakes in the province and excellent burgers. Simple but good food, served fast and hot. It is always busy, and I do mean always busy. I have never been there when there isn't a line up.

A must visit...especially for guests from out of town. Cool spot, with quick service.The food is good, the shakes are great!

This place is a historic drive in. I love being able to go drive over there and get some food. The shakes are killer and they have so many flavors. You can mix up to 3 different flavors and create your own. I love the burgers they are so flavorful. The fries and onion rings are also delicious

I moved in Calgary in 2010. I don't know how the place was before, but it's okay now. It's not great. The burgers were dry, the fries were bland. The milkshakes are okay. I will say that the serving size or the milkshakes are huge.

Poutine was good and milkshake was amazing, drive thru line was out of the lot and onto the road. They have no sit in area but have a bunch of picnic benches. Good value for money!

Top notch fast food. Slow service compared to what it used to be but still better than all the rest. Haven't found better milkshakes.

Best onion rings. Good burgers with lots of toppings. Shakes are good.

Still a great burger. Been going for over 40 years. Shakes should come with a spoon. Sooo thick. But very tasty.

Inadvertently took the wrong exit on 16 Avenue when wanting to take Memorial Drive. Quickly came across Peter's and had to stop in for a butterscotch milkshake. Hadn't been there in almost a decade and it hasn't changed one bit. My passengers also enjoyed their milk shakes.
The tag line "the drive-in you can't drive by" really applies to this place.

Great burgers and onion rings. A calgary must visit

You know, people rave about Peter's Drive-In and for the most part it's warranted. However, I believe the burgers were better before the new owners took over a few years ago. This visit was a late night venture with ManCub after his hockey game. ManCub did not care what the food was, he was just hungry and needed sustenance. NOW! He we both had singles and shared onion rings. He enjoyed the burger, and so did I.

Their milkshakes are always pretty good depending on the flavor you get and like(always avoid chocolate its never mixed in right). Decent prices for what you get but the taste you either love or hate.

Great burgers and milkshakes! A classic stop in Calgary, I just wish they were still cash only. Makes the line way slower when people use debit/credit. Go back to cash only!!!

The milkshakes are great, but the rest of the food is just okay. There are frequent outages with the debit machine and the last time I went, they didn t take ownership for the fact that it wasn t working on their end.

the foods is good as always but the drive-thru service is slow. You would get faster service in a sit down restaurant

I only come here for the milkshakes, and only when I don't have time to stop at Boogie's. You have to eat here at least once in order to live in Calgary, or they revoke your status and send you to live in Okotoks.

Amazing milkshakes with such a vast variety of flavours! The burgers though could be a little better. But the Milkshakes alone earn it 4 stars!

Drive-thru took about half an hour but after we got our food it was great. A little pricey for what you get but the milkshakes are nice.

Food is good, not great but the shakes are what keeps me coming back.

Wonderful friendly staff and Damm good food . Always. Love it . After a dirty day at work it sure hit the spot.
