Looking forward to pursue my graduate research in here.

The university has a long standing reputation of ridding this world of degenerate felines that overcrowd our city's streets. These experiments leave something to be desired, but are a good start towards ridding this world of cats and preventing their notoriously socially inept owners from procreating. By emulating Dr. Harlow's method, this fine institution has cemented itself as a national leader for a better and cat free world. Fewer cats and fewer cat people. Think of the children.

Seriously rating an entire university negatively because there are experiments on animals. Do we really think that that is the single issue that determines the quality of the institution as a whole?

I did not go to this university but I've had to go onto the campus several times for work. It is always nice to walk around to check out the architecture and even to hit up the food carts that don't make it up to the Capitol Square regularly.

I was just recently in the UW Hosppital for personal reasons, I got to say the Nursing staff as wel as the Doctors, Therapist, and the Social Workers really did help me get back healthy. I guess thats why they call it "UW Health."
Thanks again to all the staff there!
P.S. the housekeeping staff and can't forget about the kitchen staff! Overall is was my best stay at a hospital period!!!

Dr Hennessy is a very knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. I would recommend him.

Madison is a great college town, lots to do and many interesting places to visit

This university is so good, I love it. I will study here in the future, please study here once in a lifetime because it is very modern and convenient for everyone. Everyone here is very friendly, the teachers are very good and excellent. I love this university very much

Your university has a long standing reputation for Dr. Harlow's infamous monkey experiments done in the 1970s. Condemned by colleagues at the time, your university continues work in this vein. Why? I will not support your university in any way until scientific ethics are better managed. STOP "well of despair" psychological experiments.

UW-Madison has it all -- a terrific campus, great students, widespread school spirit, and a challenging academic environment.

Breezy walk to Picnic Point. Such tasteful placement of benches, landings, quotrs.Impressed with how many people wore masks and/or abided by 6-10 foot rule. Most folks were friendly. Prairie flowers in bloom. Our three generation crew enjoyed every minute!

One of the top research universities in the country and world based in beautiful Madison. There's more good to talk about than a short review can manage.

I know nothing of the educational , but from a pure campus standpoint, it has some attractive buildings (and also some very ugly ones, as most campuses do that did any construction in the 70s), it has a nice lakefront, and proximity to a large number of good restaurants in a great mid-sized city.

Research & Development oriented courses with highly proficient faculty and facilities in beautiful healthy environments.

A beautiful campus in a fun city. Smart professors and students. There are plenty of student organizations, sports and activities to join. It's been an all-around fun experience at UW-Madison.

This university is going to conduct unethical barbaric maternal deprivation studies on baby monkeys. They will take the baby monkeys from their mother, continuously expose them to stressful stimuli (such as snakes, loud noises, ect...), and then kill the monkeys at 1 years of age and dissect their brain. Their justification for this cruelty is that they will use this to study how anxiety affects a developing brain. The brain development of monkeys is not the same as human children and thus this experiments benefits would be minimal. This experiment is nothing more than a fishing experiment by a Professor who wants to get some press. This experiment clearly does not reach the threshold where the medical value of the experiment outweighs the cruelty that will be suffered by the animals.

I love the Wisconsin badgers football and basketball teams they do so well so go badger

This is the school that turns out historically illiterate students. They held protests asking to tear down an Abraham Lincoln statue because they believed He owned salves.

It is a great place but some parts are getting out of hand

My first time walking on a frozen lake, and it was super amazing !!! I met people who spend all day fishing through narrow holes, I watched football games, and partying all over the frozen river. The university is awesome

A school that tortures animals is one I will not be associate with.

Even though I never got accepted here, and, if I had, I would've never met Ron McClain at Valparaiso University, the campus is so amazing. 43 libraries throughout campus because it's such a huge campus. There are so many places to go hang out at, even to just walk to.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is a place to call home. The people are vibrant, quirky, intelligent, and fun and the city has a perfect balance between a downtown city feel and green, natural areas. The University has so much to offer - an extremely diverse amount of fields of study and research. I would recommend this University as a place to study and visit if you have never been! There's always something exciting going on and everyone can enjoy this special city.

This is going to be my college for fall 2017. I'm so excited to be there

The campus is over-crowded. Many teachers don't care about students, in any way shape or form. The academic staff tolerates academic dishonesty. The school's management allows students without prerequisite knowledge and skills to take classes to generate revenue.

I would like to thank all who took care of me . I had a great experience. Very informative and just plain GREAT !

My brother goes here, the campus is amazing with new buildings. I would attend in a heartbeat if offered the chance.

The is the psychiatric department is a abomination. They do experiments that cause mental illness. Claudia Reardon is a BAD PERSON after i disclosed to her that my father had cancer, she dumps me as a patient for something that has nothing to do with mental health, we had a disagreement about my treatment. So she wrote a bunch of negative things about me in epic "there data base" but when i reach out on pubic media, inbox text her on how upset I was. She gets me kicked out of University programs cause, I inbox texted her on face book in 2012. If you want serous mental heath care, U.W. is not the place to get it.

Love my experience here. My wife is a badger. Was able to take in the Duke Wis game. So amazing. Go Duke. Would give 5 stars if I wasnt asked to meet badger fans in the parking lot after the game. Sore losers.

Horrible customer service. Called their human resources for a simple question and was put on hold for 20 minutes and then transferred to 5 different people. My question was never answered. Very rude employees.

I got poor treatment from an English instructor and a chemistry TA. Some of the tutors are really poor at teaching. It wasn't worth it to pay 15,600$ to come in here for a semester. Go to another school instead.

Shame on you UW Madison for performing of unethical, cruel test on defendless cats and monkeys! We don't need science at this cost! It is time to shut down your laboratories!

Suffering rating due to animal experiments. Some people actually still citing the Harlow studies. Get real people, unethical stuff goes on at any major research campus, PETA just blows things up. Great university, top notch education, and great people despite misconceptions. I attended two universities prior to coming here, and the level of education blows them out of the water.

I was dismayed to learn that the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders has given more than $3 million for a series of cruel experiments on cats at the University of WisconsinMadison (UW).
Now I recently uncovered yet another disturbing study being proposed at the Univ of Wisconsin. In this experiment, the brains of young anxious monkeys will be probed and injected with chemicals known to disrupt specific areas of the brain nerve circuitry ostensibly linked to anxiety and depression. This manipulation will allow certain behaviors to be switched on and off in the monkeys at the whim of the experimenter essentially turning them into mere puppets. This new scientific toy has the potential to abuse thousands of primates for many years to come if not challenged by the public.

I liked this place really a lot. I stayed over there for a week and had great fun, nice backyard lake view. It's such a live and vibrant place to live.

One can ALWAYS find something fun, and interesting, ...etc. at UW Madison.

The University of Wisconsin campus is a great place to spend some time, go see a nuclear test reactor, some other great physics experiments, have some great food and take in a show. Have some fun in downtown Madison.
