I just had a vehicle inspection done and I am very happy. I believe they become my new mechanic
I have been taking my Mercedes c300 here and my Ford Escape here for about a year now... after taking my c300 to Mercedes and getting charged insane prices on basic maintenance and taking my escape to Ford and dealing with lack of communication, extreme wait times and being overcharged, I started bringing both vehicles to Mike at Performance Auto and Cycle, which has been a dream after dealing with all the scamming, money hungry mechanics at both Ford and Mercedes dealerships. I am completely impressed with the fact that Mike takes the time to breakdown everything that needs to be done to my vehicle and goes out of his way to look for ways to save me money on usually pricey parts. The job also gets done in a timely manner and if anything may take longer, it is always throughly communicated to me so I always know exactly what is going on. Also when I pick up my vehicle Mike shows me the parts he replaced and what exactly was wrong with them. I usually get a call a day later to ask me how everything is working and if I'm happy with the job, which again just shows the kind of customer service they show here. The kind of honesty and integrity I have seen in this shop makes it easy to bring my vehicles back here time and time again and know with complete confidence I am going to receive quality service and fair prices. Definitely would recommend Performance Auto and Cycle! 5 stars all the way! Thanks guys!
A personal service . Professional, honest and efficient.
Honest and reliable. I would take any vehicle or motorbike there.
I fixed a flat tire there as walk-in and they found a suitable time to fix it for me
Really great and honest people to deal with
Thanks a lot
Great thanks to Mike and Shaun for dyno tuning my 2019 Yamaha R1! Picked up 5 horse power up top and better response everywhere.
A great bunch of knowledgeable guys, and exacting standards. You all need better coffee hahahahaha.
Sean (service technician) and Mike (owner) Performance Cycle and Auto Ltd recently did the valve clearance, seals and spark plugs on my Kawasaki Ninja 650r sport bike. I do some of my own mechanical maintenance work but decided to leave this job to the pros, everything seems to be on the level with Performance. The bike runs very smooth now and I found the whole team very helpful. They patiently answered all of my questions. I also had them flush the coolant out of my 2008 Chrysler Pacifica this winter. Great service, honest with good workmanship.
Needed a full engine swap (older zx6r, later winter)
The team at Performance Cycle really took care of the job. Great quality of workmanship, really helped me understand, and were happy to help with any questions or concerns I had. Best of all they met their (self imposed) timeline, just in time for spring.
Highly recommend to anyone looking to get repairs, maintenance, or otherwise. Will definitely be back.

Super friendly and professional. Mike found and fixed problem in our truck .
Mike, Shaun and Chris are the go to guys for bikes, quads etc. If it has an engine these guys can FIX it!
Mike is a gem . Highly recommend getting your out of province inspection done there.
Very friendly and informative staff and they didn't have what I needed but they inform me of another place that could do what I needed which turned out to be very helpful and my thanks go out to them
Called in the morning the same day I wanted my car looked at. Chris and gang fit me in on that same day (Saturday). They were fast and efficient! Gave me this very extensive checklist after the full car inspection that I will keep in my car for the rest of it's life. Also Chris broke everything down for me in ways I would understand and Patti and Mike(?) at the front desk were super friendly. Wish I lived in Calgary so these guys could be my car people. Also 15 minute walk away from Chinook Mall for an easy time killer while your car is getting worked on.
Mike is awesome , today I dropped bike off to get tires put on not thinking it s riding season. Without an appointment mike was able to swing my bike into the shop for tire work I needed done on my vstar. Great customer service and he respects the motorcycle community. Will defiantly deal with these guys again. Thanks mike.
I replaced my motorcycle tires at this place. Mike and Chris where really helpful to find the right tires and mount them on my bike.
A really good place, fair prices and very friendly people I can recommend to everybody.
I was disgusted with the ethics of this shop. I used to go here lots when I was much younger, so when I needed an out-of-province (OOP) inspection done here on a bike, I brought it here given my fairly decent past experiences.
Im a great mechanic myself, and have LOTS of skill when repairing bikes, cars, equipment (etc). Although I've never been to school, as I cant certify the bike myself obviously. I went through the bike with a fine tooth comb, and looked for any issues anywhere on it. There were none, not one. Everything worked exactly as it should, the bike has never been in an accident.... there was NOTHING wrong with it.
Only to get a phone call later in the day from the shop. Apparently, the rear axle bearings were shot (no they weren't, I just inspected them), the front shocks were bent (um, no, I bought it from a friend, the original owner and I know for certain its NEVER been in an accident or anything of that sort). And a myriad of other supposed issues. I told them I was just going to pick up the bike and take it elsewhere, since there is no way Im shelling over $1800 on a bike that has nothing wrong with it whatsoever. They made a HUGE issue with that, stating they'd have to fill out copious amounts of paper work to release a vehicle that didn't pass the OOP and all this other BS, it was like trying to make pigs sing, to release the bike.
Finally they did, and I took it over to Calgary Harley Davidson, and not suprisingly, they passed it with flying colors. No issues at all. I mentioned the issues I had with the goofs at Performance cycle, and they laughed, apparently its common with them. There were no issues with any of the "fault" items that Performance cycle flagged on the bike, shocks were fine, bearings fine, brakes fine....
Just unbelievable the ethics of those guys. Ever since I've been telling EVERYBODY in the motorcycle community to avoid them like the plague.
I totally trust Performance Cycle and Auto with all of my car needs and I recommend them to everybody. I have an older, complicated car and they are always willing to put in the effort to find my rare car parts and to fix the complicated issues. Everyone who works there is so nice and personable that I feel comfortable knowing that I am getting reliable service and that their intentions are always to make we walk out with a safe, well looked after vehicle at a decent price.
The team at Performance Cycle has always been amazing, I cannot recommend them enough. Support local and you know always know you are getting the best price for what they do!
I stumbled upon Performance Cycle for proximity and availability on Saturdays. I m glad I did!
Mike and his family business members were all very professional and friendly. When I called to book an appointment, Mike made sure he understood and listened to everything I needed to say about my car and any potential issues.
Mike dropped me off at the mall while they worked on my car. He gave me updates and timelines for any scans and inspections done. Everything requiring additional payment was approved before moving forward.
When the car was fixed, Mike gave a detailed explanation of all of the recommended maintenance and the severe safety issues that were dealt with. Him and his son showed me the part that needed to be replaced that was causing issues (coolant gasket).
I was happy to see that my Jeep was running smoothly and no more maintenance lights were turning on when I started my car the next week.
Mike even followed up a few days later to see how the car was running.
And, they have a cute dog!
I have been going to this place pretty much since they opened their doors. And not just because it is up the street from me. I refer anyone who asks me who i go to. I love all the people who works there. They are all so professional, informative, good quality work & fair priced. I have never felt that because i am a woman that i am being taken advantage of due to my lack of mechanical knowledge. They have always explained things in depth to me qhen i don't understand something. They always keep in touch if the service ends up taking longer than expected. If you don't already go to this automotive shop, you should consider it, even if it might be too far from you, it is worth it. Then tell your friends too. This is a family business & I want to keep them open during this very frustrating pandemic
Absolutely amazing shop - honest recommendations, and great guys to work with. I really appreciated the quote authorization before beginning any work. I ll be bringing my Mustang here from now on... they ve earned a loyal customer!
Amazing service, Mike went above and beyond to get my bike going
Great service. They are passionate about what they do and that shows in the quality of their work. They've kept my truck running awesome at 360k and counting.
Edit: Original review was for other business. Called Performance Cycle regarding a tire change for motorcycle. As I have tires and tubes, PC&A agreed they are able to change out the tubes/tires on an open schedule. Makes for an ease of convenience and was glad to deal with staff answering the phone who could answer all my questions right away. Also appreciate the owner taking the time to notify me that my review was for another business. Really great to see when all the staff for the business care about it.
