I would make this 0 stars but I dont have the option. I have had problems with PEC in ada since I started using them. I have a prepaid account and i get paid at a certain time (which they have been made aware multiple times) and once my prepaid account got literally $2.35 over, knowing I get paid tomorrow, they cut my electric iff anyways and they were very rude about it when I called. This has happened more than once due to the fact of when my check hits. They have made excuse after excuse and say there is nothing they can do but I know they personally go pick accounts to deactivate. So, if you have a prepaid account with them and they cut your electric off for .10 (which has happened before) and all of your groceries go bad and they try to tell you that theres nothing they can do because it's a prepaid account, call them on their bs because the after hours people told me how it works. I am very mad. And rightfully so. I am looking into talking to an attorney because I watch my account and they have obviously tweaked things on my account.
I've lived many places and PEC has less outages and are quick to get power back to you when it does go out. Awesome power company.
They only care about money. Don't return deposits and ask high amounts to change account over. They like to turn off electric after you pay your bill even if you have kids or elderly in the home.
I didn t have to pay my bill this month cause they are using my deposit I paid in last year to pay my bills in the summer heat. I ve never had a problem with PEC. I ve had a couple outages but it was quickly recovered. Thank you PEC
It's sad I have to keep count of my daily use. Constantly call to get things right because extra money is always removed. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR ACCOUNT USE.
My wife and I have been out of the house the entire month, due to a lightning strike killing half our house's power. Half our house can't even be used. The only thing running is the top ac that us set to 80. Our bill was almost 200. How is that even possible?!
After we payed the unrealistic deposit they took the account out of our name and they are making us pay it again. They have no clue why it happened and if i didn't have to use this company for power i wouldn't. I would honestly rather be without power than use this sad excuse for a company.
Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If you like a high eletctric bill all year round and a lot of power outages this would be a great company.
PEC can't seem to send me a bill nor do they send cut off notices. So here I am without power because I have yet to receive a bill in 4 months nor I have I received any cut off notice. My bill was current and due in the 10th apparently and they disconnected my service for $62 bucks that is 16 days late. Beat in mind they also have a $300 deposit for my utilities. PEC sucks, plain and simple. Customer service is terrible and billing doesn't seem to work. Wish there were better options but they own the market so we deal with poor service. End the monopoly, PEC sucks!!
I hate they always lose power I m sitting here no electricity nephew with a breathing machine and the electricity keeps going off I bet if I didn t pay my bill on time every month this co op wouldn t like it the hell with pec
They really stepped up there game, I have had super good service!
I've had PEC for as long as I can remember. Thus far my only complaint is that the app stopped reporting usage after they upgraded the meters. Otherwise I haven't had any problems out of them
