People's Trust Insurance Company Review

Made the process of getting new insurance very easy. Was very quick to respond.

Renewal process was streamlined and easy. They increased my rate by $500 though

this insurance company deserves less than one star. my experience has been horrible. they don't want to renew my policy after I put a claim (which they didn't cover as well). they sent an unprofessional letter saying that they wont renew.the reaons why they wont renew has no sense because they cant prove what they are saying. will not recommend it and will definitely go to another company.

So far, I have the best experience with this company. I haven t made a claim yet and hopefully will never have to but I expect to have a good experience through this process too.

The cust. svce rep. explained to me in detail everything I needed to know about my policy. I really liked she took the time to explain and inform me of my choices.

Poor service!!!! I hate it... My neighbor next door had a really bad fire now a need to clean my attic, my air conditioner, change the isolation, and my carpet because all the smoke came into my house since i live in a town house, I try to explain to the very rude woman that the inspector they send didnt even go to the athic; the estimate i send at that moment is more than what they send the woman very rude didnt even let me explain anythig she was only repeating that im responsable they send me 148$ because they say the repairs are 2,500$ and since we are responsible for that deductible the only thing they cover is 148$ well i know that they are going to comunicate with the next door negihbor insurance company so i know they are going to get money from them and how the hell they know how much the repairs and the cleaning is if they didnt have the estimates? And on top they didnt have the estimates that i try sending them for 3 days and they keep saying it was delay and after the email fails to go to that email... so then when this very rude woman call then i send it again and she got it after they send the money!!! that is just a abuse we pay a lot of money for the insurance!!!! for them to keep all when we needed most and on the top they are rude about it!!!! I hate it and every one needs to stay away from that company!!!!!!

I rate one star only because that is as low as I have been given the option to rate. If I could go lower, I would. My family and I live in Lynn Haven, FL which is a community just on the north side of Panama City, FL. Our home, along with tens of thousands of other homes, was in the direct path of Hurricane Michael when it came through October 10th of last year. We are still fighting with People s Trust to get the funds we need to finish repairs on our home and pay us back for all of the money we had to pay out of pocket due to their bad-faith practices. Our home and personal property incurred around $65,000 worth of damage. They sent us $17K to cover everything. We had to take out a loan, max out two credit cards, and completely empty all the savings we had to make up the difference so we could move back into our home. We were displaced for around 5 months and racked up thousands of dollars worth of added expenses during that time period. Our saving grace was in the form of a condo owned by friends that so kindly let us stay there. Had it not been for that, we would have been living in a tent like the thousands of others in our region, many of them still living in tents today! We have had to seek out representation in the form of a public adjuster since People s Trust refused to budge off their amount initially. They threw us a few bones since to cover some of the cost of replacing some of our personal property and help offset a minimal amount of the funds we had to come up with while being displaced. Our desk adjuster with People s Trust has changed several times throughout this whole process...I guess they have pretty high turnover in that department. They have great rates, but the discount rates come at a huge price when you actually have to use your insurance and get discount service. You would be better off paying more money for a more reputable company that is known for actually taking care of their customers. I am still in the process with them and hope that I can change this review in the future. I hope they come through and do the right thing. Entrusting your home to an insurance company is no small task. I entrusted People s Trust because I thought they could be trusted based on their name. So far, it seems to be proving to just be a name and not a value for them. They have lost my trust completely. In the moment my family and I needed them most as our community was devastated by the strongest hurricane to ever hit the gulf coast of Florida, they let us down. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Don t let their name fool you like it did me. If you choose to go with them simply because they have good rates, just hope and pray that you never have to actually use it to file a claim. If your experience is anything like mine and the hundreds of others I have have talked to in our community who have the same carrier, you will be grossly let down and regret going after that cheaper rate.

I switched to People's Trust Insurance a couple of years ago, after doing some research and finding that their homeowners insurance quote was very competitive and would save me money. Although I have not needed to file any insurance claim up to this point, I have found their customer service and responsiveness to my needs to be second to none, and am very happy with the service they have provided to me. I intend to stay with People's Trust for my homeowner's insurance needs.

Thank God I have never had to use the Services but I have not had a problem so that is Good for everyone.

I had a great experience great customer service the guy that sold me the insurance was very polite and very customer-oriented thank you.

So far no claims but the other services are great. The couple of times that I've needed forms or proof of coverage has been easy to obtain. Plus the forms are easy to read and understand. Thanks

I called customer service and spoke to Rashad about some billing questions. Rashad went above and beyond what I expected and got the answers for me in a timely manner and was very friendly and professional on the phone. Thank you again for the help!

good company. they don't lie to you it's just that you have to read everything well so that later they don't complain to you.

Stay FAR FAR away. I was dropped after 81 days due to "old roof". I told the agent my roof is older but still wrote the policy. I believe this company is practicing illegal and immoral activities.

"Horrible service, horrible Adjuster Will Markey gives the company a very bad name!! Called to schedule and inspection and he use profanity that we were full of s** and even hung up the phone.
