If this was my first time. It would have been my last. Food cold and the server Chris was never to be seen. His helper was the only one we saw the whole night. Very Sad. Been coming here for many years. Now time for a break.

I love this restaurant and have been eating there for over 20 years. Food is always excellent, service is outstanding. You can see the whole of the bay, which is special in the evening when all the lights are on. You can ride a ferry from downtown to the dock in front of the restaurant.

I had the worst experience here... I went with my group and they sat us down and then moved our entire party because the tables they sat us where only for three course meal (high paying) dinner guests. The waitress didn t even try to sell me on food they made a horrible-face and moved us ... It was undignified and we left ... my money is just as good as any other guest. P. S. Some of us don t have to wear Prada to afford a good $50 meal ...

Used to really love this place, but not as good as it used to be. The location, view, and restaurant layout are still great, but the food and service were so so at best (but very pricey for so so).

I'll likely try them again and really hope they redeem themselves.

The service here was slow, unfortunately for them there was no excuse, it was slow. It took 20 minutes to get a drink, we found a receipt in our soup, and our chicken cesear salad was thrown together with no thought for presentation and really had nothing on it. For a place that considers itself upperscale it was less than your hole in the wall restraunt. The manager was reluctant to take the soup off the bill, was defending the chef, they replaced the first bowl with the same bowl and it had more receipt in it. The fries were cold, the drinks had no taste of alcohol, and it took so long to get any service for anything. The manager had no cards on him which i find hard to believe, besides this review i will be reaching out to his manager. I am just so disgusted by the treatment and that they didnt change the soup.

One of the best happy hours on the island! Stopped in to get away from the heat and the happy hour menu offered $7 premium martini's and $6 mojito margarita! I ordered a Belvedere with hand stuffed olives...YUM!!! So smooth and delish! For apps we shared Maui onion rings(HUGE portion), shrimps on fire and a spicy tuna roll! All were relish and paired perfectly with our beverages!

Happy hour with a beautiful view of San Diego Bay and America's Finest City! Can't beat that!

The Salmon was farmed and not wild caught and the halibut Mai'a, their signature dish, was underwhelming and unremarkable . The coconut shrimp entre is the same portion as the coconut shrimp appetizer but twice the price and isn't that much better than Panda Express They ran out of sushi at 6:30. The sashimi looked as it had been torn off the fish by a pair of pliers, not delicately and proportionally sliced. There was "something" In my son's water glass. Their staff was tense and stressed due to Covid 19, which is understandable and tried hard. All would have been fine for "Mariscos Veracruz" but overall I'll dine somewhere else next fathers day.

Sadly I have to give this place 2 stars for lunch. I'd have to say the service was awesome, but the food was not. My wife and I ordered a lot of food from the lunch menu and were pretty dissatisfied with almost everything we tried. I will give this place a shot at redemption for dinner in the future, stay tuned for an update.

Good food, but you're really going for the amazing view. It's pricy, but overall you'll enjoy the meal. I would skip the sushi, and go for something more traditional. The venue itself is beautiful and service is great! Parking is easy, and there's places to walk around before and after you eat.

I rarely write reviews but this place needs to be called out. Our visit was a disappointment. The hostess was busy with a social conversation and did not appreciate me waiting to check-in. Despite several empty tables, we had to wait 5 minutes because we were 5 minutes early for our reservation. I visited the men s room to wash before dinner. Only 1 soap dispenser worked.

Zero customer service. I can't believe they would employ a hostess who looks straight at a guest, only to ignore them and answer the phone. Custo.ers who are physically present come first!!! If it's seat-yourself time, put out a sign or have the decency to speak to customers. Don't say to seat yourself but then say all the tables I pick are closed. It's offensive to come to an ocean-side restaurant and not be able to see the ocean. Diner beware!

The food was great but the waiter I guess was busy because of happy hour missed taken one order and when a drink was spilled on me no offer for a change of tablecloth which remained wet through my whole dinner and just gave me one napkin to replace the one that got wet!!!

For starters, Peohe's has an extraordinary view of the bay and the San Diego skyline. Most importantly, their Salmon and Mahi Tacos are out of this world! Peohe s is one of Coronado Islands hidden gems!

Stopped in for a drink and the hostess would not seat us outside but wanted us to wait twenty minutes for a table when there were more than ten tables open, we left and won't be returning. Hostess needs to go.

Overpriced for the menu and service. This is a Charthouse restaurant under a new name but the same poor attention to detail and service. For a high-end restaurant the Caesar Salad has no anchovies and had a bottled dressing taste. The mashed potatoes that accompanied the sea bass were stiff and cold. The bay view is incredible but there are better places to eat and spend your money. P.S. The women s restroom was dirty.

Service was fine. I never had to ask to refill my drinks. My Irish mule tasted like ginger beer in a copper cup. The salmon sashimi was exceptional. Steak was a little overpriced and overcooked, but the dessert was good.
Overall, a nice experience because of its location and service. I just wish the $40 filet was worth the $40 I paid.

We were asked if we'd like to have drinks and appetizers or dinner. We wanted to have a couple of cocktails, but no one came and asked for our order. We left in 15 minutes and will never come back.

Service was good .. waiter was incredibly insistent on us getting a memebership or something of the sort at the end of the meal that kind of ruined the experience which was a bummer because he was great for the entire meal until then, food was good, view was incredible. Would definitely go back.

The view is lovely, even when you aren't facing the water. Peohe's atmosphere is very relaxing with a wonderful mix of nature and industrial-esque art pieces, especially the fountain. All that and the food is fab!

We have always loved to come to Peokes, but this visit was less then ideal. Our service left something to be desired, having to track down our server for everything. My coconut shrimp was quite good, but, my wifes Mahi was dry and flavorless. Our out of town guest thought the salmon was pretty good. In the summer, we come across the bay and dock out front, the evening lights on the bay are quite something after a nice meal. I hope they don't make what we experience the norm.

The food was so good we didn't want to leave. The interior of the restaurant is very fancy and the lighting is perfect. There are great views of the bay if you can get a table on their balcony. I would highly recommend this place to all.
