This place is centrally located and easily accessible by public transportation. It is quite spacious and spread out so when it filled to capacity with people it does not feel crowded or claustrophobic. There are many exits along the floor. Well though out design.

A great space for events and gatherings such as car shows or intense professional exams. Place is pretty clean on the inside, but the outside has quite a large amount of homeless people hanging around. Another plus is the reading terminal is right across the street!!!
The venue is fine ... organized ... and has places to eat. But the only time my wife and I go there, is for the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show. For years, it has been a show we didn't want to miss. But last year, the show was great ... the number of vendors seemed smaller and some of the good flower vendors were not there. This year (March 2-10, 2019), the show was NOT very good ... and the vendors continued to get less attractive. It was the only year we've felt this way ... and it's the only year we bought nothing at the show.
Place is as spacious as ever. Plenty of nooks and crannies to tuck away in if you had to set up a laptop. I don t know people just end up living in there there are so many places to hide. Cool that it s connected right to some of the hotels in the area. Parking can be expensive around the area, look for coupons!
I go to a convention here once a year and always enjoy myself. The one thing that I was annoyed with this year that prevented me from giving five stars is that of the four day convention it took them until the last day to figure out that the escalators needed to go in both directions, otherwise everytime you left the main hall to go to a panel you got stuck having to leave the building and go back through security to reenter.
was here for work, so I basically saw my company's booth and that was about it... do yourself a favor and make time to head over to that marketplace for food though, you'll probably pay less and have a better selection
Easy walking distance from the train. We usually come for the Car Show or Flower Show. There are escalators to take you up to the convention center....On the other hand it might be confusing if your looking for a certain entrance from the outside of the building.
Really big convention center, but very annoying to traverse. Staff was directed to guard certain doors and not allow access to the ways of certain parts of the building which just made things really confusing and frustrating to get to the different rooms where events were. There was a girl who told us we could access a location and when she was wrong and we came right back, she refused to let us in. Also maybe this is naive of me, but I've never had to go through metal detectors so much in one weekend so it was a little off putting, but mostly could've been organized much much better, I obviously know safety is important but I've been to hundreds of conventions that didn't make the con goers feel like criminals and having to go through metal detectors several times in one visit. I would like to take down another star for their snarky reply, as they know they're mostly doing it to cover themselves as there are other things they can do to protect people that is more than just show.
Came here for PAX Unplugged. Nice hall, but the food vendors close up shop early, the restrooms were overwhelmed and started clogging, and the layout is kind of confusing
Went to Auto Show which we do every year, and the convention center is truly accommodating. We go to that show every year and what I love most is that when you take the train, you do not have to go outside to get to the Convention Center!
I went to the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) biannual convention here and everything was very well organized. The events, the seating, the food, the security were all very well executed. It was a great experience!
It's a rather nice convention center. It's well located with lots of places to dine around it. It's easy to access via train as well. The only issue is that bathrooms are a bit small for larger conventions and the theater / expo hall layout is a bit odd.
Spacious and in a great location. Food inside is alright, but so many better places surround the location. Bathrooms are plentiful, but they don't always restock the paper towels and there were no air dryers that I remember. Lighting is bright and staff friendly.
Every year I go to the Philadelphia Convention Center for the Philly Auto Show and/or the Philadelphia Flower Show. This place is huge. There are showrooms on the main floor and also downstairs. Right next door is the Reading Market where you can get anything to eat that you want, no matter the cuisine.
My favorite part is seeing all these rich people go to these events. Meanwhile there are homeless people everywhere. Its good to see that philly really cares for the rich. Bc we all know homeless deserve nothing. They all are lazy and gross. Well off people rule this city. Yay rich people.
If you love building that are empty 90% of the year this is the place for you the Mayor of Philly must be so proud that he puts taxes on everything he keeps events away, it will probably be a safe injection site soon
I was here for the annual gathering of tattoo artists and their whole network of other products and services, which we didn't really plan to attend as we were in Philadelphia for another cultural event. This place was packed that noontime of Saturday. It's my first time to be in this convention place, it's huge!
Fantastic location for a convention. Easy navigation, good wifi, helpful staff, clean restrooms, and nearby local food. Always a joy to attend a con here.
