There was a time when I wouldn t miss a flower show. Traveling from wherever I happened to be to Philadelphia every March. Then I noticed approx five years ago that the theme, Hollywood coincided with the high admission, the lack of flowers being sold and mediocre displays that no one can or could replicate even if they had the time or money. So I stopped going until this year where the theme was flower power. One display on that era does not count as flower power. Yes, the displays are beyond belief but impractical.

The price of admission has risen $42, to see wilted displays and impractical tropical yards. This tells me that the booth charges are so high that only those vendors who have a national presence can pay, which explains why there were fewer than four vendors selling flowers. The others were jewelry, clothing and yard essentials. What s the point? It s a flower show and the flowers that are on display can t be purchased. Nothing that you can t get locally. Here s my question, shouldn t the flower show include vendors from local areas instead of large corporations?

One thing they no longer have to worry about is me and my friends attending again. I will not be back again. Frankly I can go to white flower farm and see better displays and the good thing is they sell what they display. Even my local farmers market has a better selection.

Over 3 blocks long. 3 different buildings, poor signage. Poor direction for facilities around the convention center, parking, food, and so on. Philadelphia is a small city with rich history, yet no pointers to any of them !

Man this place is huge. The normal Convention Center type of location. The one thing that's a little bit of a disappointment is the food choices in the trade shows is really poor. The choices are very underwhelming and expensive.

Went for the flower show. There was a lot of walking and no essily found chairs around the exhibit hall - people sat on radiators near the windows. We could find no water fountains. The place was very crowded. There were handicapped carts that could be rented but it wasn't clear how to rent them - they sat unused while we were there. A disappointing day overall.

Loved the convention I was at and the facilities were good. In the outer walking areas it looked nice and kept up well. Inside the trade area was a tad dated for condition but did not detract from our purpose of being there.

Nice modern convention center. Huge with several connected venues but.. Connecting corridors should have been open in February. I attended 2 events and had to walk 2 blocks in freezing windy weather when it was unnecessary.

It s a very big convention center and conveniently located nearby public transport and center of the city. You will find a lot of good sculptures all over the hallways as seen in the picture attached (could not click more as phone battery was low). The center is also connected with hotel. I enjoyed the conference that attended over here

Cool

This place is huge! I went there for a 2 day music festival. The security moved fast and it was plenty big enough to house the thousands of people that attended. Also it is attached to the Marriott Downtown, which offers a bridge to the convention center without going outside!

Had a great time here as a part of the AAFP FMX program aka the American Academy of Family Physicians Family Medicine Exchange. It s a nice facility with several rooms and several floors. The only downside is that there s a major road running between the two parts of the convention center, so you have to walk outside, cross the street, and then head back inside to move from the first floor of one side to the first floor of the other side.

We went to Phili to the car show..pretty good, I suppose. But they only had 3 stalls in the restroom I went in..ladies stood in line for about 15 minutes to use it..They need more stalls in each restroom for such a large place

Great
