The auto show was nice, somebody gave us a free ticket at the gate. We were able to check our coats and bags inside. It's $3 per item, which is kind of expensive. The bag check person was nice. She said that if we stuffed our coats in our bag it we would just pay for the bag, which was nice. The show itself was nice, but I felt like too many of the normal cars were locked that I would have actually wanted to sit in (not just the luxury cars, but normal cars). It's fun to see the tricked out cars downstairs but beware that some of the graphics are not PG, including women representatives from Monster who were signing autographs.

This place is huge! Lots of space to have a show. A bit confusing at times but once you get the overall layout it gets easier to navigate. Small food court for the size of the place but several large venue halls for concerts and feature speakers.

I'm rating it 5 stars because it's one of the best convention centers I've been too,.... when you figure out the seeming maze they've built. It spans some 6 city blocks and takes up to 15 minutes to walk from one edge to another. However, that's also its strength as it is highly versatile and can fit most any need. Overall, the staff was wonderful and the rooms cutting edge for their presentation technology. The art is also amazing. I really enjoyed the convention we had there.

I attend the Philadelphia car show and wizard world almost every year here. You have your salty spitoon SpongeBob vendor spots every once in a while where people just refuse to service you which means they refuse to make money but I think that's just a staple of convention halls. There's food places outside and around the show floors if your convention isn't too early or too late as well as showroom concession stands which tend to be pricey but that's just a part of the territory I will say they tend to have much lower prices than most halls I've been to in the past so if that's a problem for you it shouldn't be here. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to review a convention center in comparison to reviewing a convention itself so I will just say there's a lot of space and plenty of opportunities to almost never run out of things to do during the duration of the day granted the convention takes advantage of all the space as well as has a lot to do.

Nice facility for hugh international conferences. Next to Chinatown and an interesting market full of tasty dishes and pastries. Many homeless people sleeping around the building and pee on the sidewalk. I did see the city cleaning up the sidewalk.

Great place to visit with family and friends. The convention center always has events going on. This month (February) there's the Philadelphia Auto Show and Tattoo Convention among other events. Is wheelchair accessible, parking lot on site and food conveniently near by.

There's nothing wrong with the convention center, but the streets around it feel unsafe and the guys in black who set up and take down rooms could be asked to reserve the foul language for home. I hate sitting outside a session and listening to the loud rude talk. The facility itself is clean and spacious. Security was very polite and efficient.

Very well-situated in downtown Philly, with ample space for big conferences. Love the proximity to Reading Terminal Market. Finding rooms can be a bit confusing, particularly since the center spans multiple city streets and sometimes you have to stay on the second floor to get to rooms on the first floor that are separated by city streets.

I love the Philadelphia flower show. It's a wonderful experience, the displays are stunning. There is so much going on between the displays, the vendors, the classes, the competitions. I always leave full of ideas and looking forward to the warmer weather.

Attended the Pa women's conference and attendance was 12,000 women. Glad they were better about the restrooms this year, last year they didn't open the men's room. Thi year the bathrooms were available. The air conditioning was not as high this year, I dressed anticipating cold as was warm most of the day. Otherwise the facilities were great.

Difficult to find rooms. I didn't like it for our conference. Always had to ask to find room. Area is also surrounded by people who will approach you for money all the time. The city is overall vibrant but I'd rather have the conference somewhere else in a better convention center

Great exhibition space. Food outrageously over priced. Even the vendors admitted they were embarrassed to charge 6 bucks for a soda. Aramark is greedy beyond words. This after paying for admission.

Are you in the mood for a brutalist interpretation...
Are you in the mood for a brutalist interpretation of a Iowa corn maze at the center of Philadelphia? The Pennsylvania Convention Center may have what you need at intersection of your strange desires. (But I won't yuck your yum!) Absolutely titanic in its size, the PCC seems suspiciously, if not intentionally, designed to get you lost deep within its bland, homogenious bowels.
Perhaps Philly's precocious sign makers unions were on strike during its construction, which would explain the mysterious absence of any meaningful maps or indications of where in fact you actually are or how to proceed to where you would prefer to be. No matter. I've learned its dark secret, it's all a ploy to get to its food court.
There so in, Aramark leads you into its pricey, yet tasteless web of overpriced concessions. Could you escape into Center City to find a cheaper bite? Definitely! But that would mean braving back out into the wilds with potential to get lost again. The rest of the city outside, taunting you through the complex's wall spanning windows and inoperable (if not legally required) fire doors.
In fact, as I write this review, I still haven't found my way out. Maybe I will get that nine-ish dollar hot dog.

It's a convention center. Gargantuan space filled with whatever convention is there. At least the bathrooms are easy to find. Well lit. Floors are not super dirty. One of the more pleasant convention centers I have been to. Very near the tourist-trap and philly landmark that is the terminal market.

Went to the car show. It was very busy. I enjoyed how there were multiple rooms & floors depending on the make/model. It was a fun first time experience to share with my teenage son. At 16-17 it s hard to find a common ground with your kids so this allowed for a perfect day. We could share our excitement over certain models & also didn t need to force a conversation.

I love coming to the convention center every year for the auto show! It's large and spacious, so the amount of people attending never bothered me. There are plenty of restrooms conveniently located near each entrance, and the security there was very nice and helpful. Very easy to travel here using SEPTA or PATCO, and within walking distance from the City Hall area. Highly recommend!

The convention center is fairly easy to navigate with staff positioned at critical points to assist you to find a location. It is compact to the amount of walking required is reasonable, The convention center is formerly a train shed so it has lots of character. It sits on top of Reading Terminal Market so it provides a great opportunity to explore the unique food and treats for lunch, early dinner, or playing hooky from a convention.
