Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center Review

Excellent room, great service. Menu options in the restaurant are pretty limited, but what rhey do have is affordable and good.

Service was outstanding and loved their Garden Restaurant hot buffet.

The service was excellent and was beyond my expectations. I was extremely pleased with the quality of this hotel and would recommend it others.

First this Hotel/Restaurant/Bar is located on the far edge of campus out past the football stadium. I wouldn't say it is even walkable from that side of campus. Second I would also say that it is most frequented by people staying at the Hotel or attending a conference due to its location away from the downtown or campus. This is a University owned property with plenty of parking, very well maintained. The Bar/Restaurant had very pleasant staff and the bar manager was awesome. We had a light dinner and was very good.

Stayed here for the start of grad school program. Everything was great. Staff extremely helpful, everything was clean. Food at the Gardens restaurant was very good.

Went to a Christmas craft show. Lots of fun and nice things for Christmas and a pair of chainmail earrings for me. Had fun purusing all the stalls. On a down note, everything was squashed into two rooms and sometimes it was hard to see the it's displayed.

The food provided for our lunch was delicious and the service was excellent.

Very friendly start greeted me at the check on counter, quickly for me up to my room which was very comfortable.

Everything was great. The conference was well supplied with food and drinks. The layout of rooms was easy to navigate.

Standard hotel accommodations. Nothing impressive. When all the lights in the room were out there was still so much light coming in room from hallway. Save you $ if you can and stay at somewhere cheaper...

Excellent venue for prom, large conference hall was excellent for a dance floor and table space. Employees were kind and courteous, and bathrooms and other amenities were excellent. For other events, I highly recommended The Penn State, as the combination of Restaurant, conference, center, and hotel means that guests of any sort may have their needs served.

He always has drinks and food even though I went for a presentation that lasted only an hour. They always keep the place very clean too.

This review is for the lunch buffet on a weekday at the Gardens Restaurant.

The Gardens Restaurant was superb for lunch with a large group. Buffet style was perfect, and the dessert selection was fantastic. The general lunch food was not anything I was craving, but it was worth the money.

Brunch buffet is pretty good. Lots of variety, and pretty good quality for a buffet.

The venue is beautiful, and everything is very clean and well cared-for. Refreshments and meals served are absolutely amazing. Those starting at the eventas guests said their rooms are lovely, comfortable, and clean. Technology available to presenters seems to be current and functions well. I would be more than happy to return.

I've been here for a couple conferences and events. It isn't as fun as being in some other city since I'm from here (and theres not much to explore in walking distance) but the center itself is nice, accommodating, plenty of different rooms. Ive also seen the hotel rooms and they are not bad at all.

The food was quite delicious and the event was well catered.

Beds are foam pads but comfortable. Shower would drain slow. Check in was very concerned about security. Conference rooms were spacious and clean. Food provided was great.

The location is nice, close enough to downtown and the rest of state college but not a lot of traffic. The building itself is beautiful inside. I attended a professional dinner there and the food was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A great place.

Attended the Catalyst 2018 EnergyCAP conference in September. The cleanliness, setup and organization of the conference rooms was superb. The breakfast, snacks, drinks, lunch and h'ordeuvres were delicious. Staff was also polite and accommodating.

Stopped here on a road trip, could access a Pokestop from our room so I was happy.

Mainly I was here for sleeping after THON, so I didn't encounter many issues. From what I did encounter it was great there is a Keurig in the room. Quite spacious with a couch and loveseat. The customer service was excellent from what experienced.

The Penn Stater offers clean, comfortable rooms which are well furnished and include the usual amenities of a better hotel. Staff is friendly, courteous and attentive, providing prompt response to requests. Courtesy vans will transport guests to campus and downtown State College locations. Food is very good.

My stay was nice. The room was clean, and WiFi worked well.

Very nice it's was a little to far to go for a conference. I guess I just didn't like the drive the riad was a little to curve for me.

The conference room used for our professional education session was clean and comfortable with adequate space and amentities like a projector and screen as well as a food and drink service.

Love the Gardens. This is our favorite place to eat.

I came as part of the largest conference I think the place can hold. The catering is delicious, and the av setup is really good. They use catch boxes for audience participation.

Nice room very clean. Only two complaints one no digital thermostat and the TV is off to one side of the bed. I'd definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean service was good. The pool and hottub were nice. The restaurants were a little expensive.

Worst place ever!!! too expensive,snotty front desk staff, I was harassed for my husbands service dog THAT IS ILLEGAL!!!! Yes I am contacting the ADA. Very difficult to get around especially for disabled lots of stairs and few elevators. They may think they are better but they are not just totally a waste of time to even try to work with pure ignorance and arrogance

This hotel is a budget hotel in New York, a small pearl. This is my second stay a year later. This is not a Ritz-Carlton hotel, but the attention and friendliness of the front desk staff are happy every day. I want to say that we have encountered some problems in the room, and once told the front desk, they solved it without any words. I also smiled at the service and apologized to us... such a service is nothing to ask for. Thank you very much to the Cosmo team!

Comfortable hotel rooms. Very nice tiered-seating meeting rooms available, with power and Wi-Fi at each seat.

I always have the salmon burger with fries at Legends. It s so good!

Awesome place would come again only negative is if you or a loved one is in a wheel chair it's not easy to get out of the hotel when the fire alarm went off my wife had to bump down 8 set of steps on her butt as I carried her wheel chair down. Then when we get to the looby they tell us it's all clear and that staff was on their way to asst me getting her out the whole time we were making our way down the steps we saw no staff to help. One morning I woke up to get my shoes and a cockroach went flying across the floor.

Rooms were clean, eveything was fine. The two restaurants were very good

Dinner at The Legends with friends. Good food and nice atmosphere until it got crowded and loud.
