Probably the best place I've worked.
Staff was friendly, plant was immaculate. Cafeteria is a huge plus. Plant management treats everyone to surplus of meals and treats during outages.
Like other reviewers, I wouldnt mind getting stuck here forever.
I spilled my coffee, they were all like super pissed and running around. Then they escorted out. Worst. Tour. Ever.
I have delivered here twice in company truck and I have to say what a VIEW and people are very polite and when I am unloaded material staff and guards are very polite.
A shining example of pa's ineptitude. Along with TMI; the only domestic nuclear power plants shuttered due to gross operator negligence. An ideal location, to further pollute the Susquehanna in the event of a catastrophe.
You haven't lived until you spend a night in one of the outlet water boxes at Peach Bottom. Heck, it's even a joy crawling to it via the manway.
Truckers can park overnight in car parking lot... great service
Food is decent, refuel floor is hot. Clean plant, president loves to provide lunch and handshakes. 10/10 would get stuck here on never ending outage again.
Love this place! Simply amazing! The radiation made my skin glow after being there! I also love the extra arms and super powers! But I remove one star because I have this weird head now that tries to eat me in my sleep.
I worked in the cafe for two weeks through a temp agency. One nice place to work and the food is good I might add
Many years ago when I worked as a dive tender for a underwater construction co. I flipped my truck(oil slick) leaving the plant blocking traffic in & out during shift change. LOL!! Thought they would never let me back in plant again, of course they did & no harm to anyone but myself was done. GREAT bunch of guys worked out there. Man I miss those days!
Cafeteria is actually above average for the plants I've visited, and the site itself is beautiful and well keept!
